I gave Josh my address, him affirming back with a nod, telling me he lived not too far. He drove down a few streets, eventually pulling up to the driveway.

"Thank you Josh." I looked at him, with a smile; setting my hand on the handle.

"You're welcome Tyler. Please be safe, okay?" He spoke, looking back at me.

I assured him with a smile that I would try, getting out of the car and waving a bye before walking up to the door, walking inside. I slipped my shoes off near the door, peaking out the window, seeing Josh drive away. A small smile plastered to my lips; turning around, the smile immediately being replaced with a yelp of surprise; looking at an angered father.

"Where the hell have you been?" The man slurred.

I sighed.

"I was at a friends house." 

"Yeah, were you?" He growled, raising his hand like he was gonna hit me.

"Chris, Leave him alone." My mom called from the other room.

I sighed quietly; walking away from him, up to my room.

And the fact that I was probably going to come out to my parents today, slowly became a disliking to me.

 I walked over to my bed; plopping down. I figured I'd try to get some rest.

I laid down, pulling the soft blankets up to my shoulder; letting my eyes close, and my body into a deep rest that I wish I stayed in.
