Victoria was sitting with her legs tucked in under her on her bed as she flicked through her photos she took on her camera. She heard the front door open and then close and then a pair of feet making their way up the stairs. Soon, she heard a soft knock on her door.
"Yeah?" She asked, flicking through the camera still.
The door creaked open, revealing Anthony.
"Hey. Sorry, I should've told you I was with Steve after school". Anthony apologized.
"It's fine. What did you do?" She asked, looking up at him.
"Well, Nancy basically dumped him at Heathers so he's all sad". Anthony explained, tapping his fingers on her door.
"That sucks". She went back to her camera.
"Did Heather give you a ride?"
"No, Billy did".
"Billy?"
"Yeah-"
"Did he try anything?" Anthony asked seriously.
"What? No. Why?" Victoria looked at him.
"He's a total dickhead". Anthony's voice held venom. "Stay away from him".
"Ok". Victoria held her hands up in surrender.

Victoria adjusted the strap on her shoulder, turning into the driveway of the Byers household. She looked at the house in front of her, hearing the sound of a car pulling in behind her. She didn't think much of it, walking further to the side.
"Victoria? Don't you have school?"
Victoria stopped walking, turning to look at the car. "Chief?" Victoria watched him turn off the car and then get out.
"What are you doing here? Did something happen?" Victoria asked worriedly, her eyes then looking to the open door.
Hopper opened his mouth to say something and then his eyes followed hers. "Stay behind me". He instructed her before the two made their way towards the open door.
"Hello?" Hopper called out, taking his hat off. Victoria stepped in, beside him.
"Leave it open". Joyce voice sounded somewhere in the house before she came into view.
"Where the hell have you been?" She asked Hopper, her eyes then looking to Victoria.
"Victoria? What are you doing here?" Joyce asked.
"I came to see Will". Victoria replied softly.
"Oh, honey. It's actually not a good time". Joyce shook her head sadly at the girl. Victoria looked around the house, goosebumps rising on her arms.
"It's freezing". Victoria told Joyce.
"Shhh". Joyce was quick before gesturing the two to follow her.
"Hey! Knock, knock. We have some visitors". Joyce knocked on the door before entering.
Victoria scrunched her eyebrows together, looking at the back of Wills figure. She didn't get how he was not freezing. He was only in his underwear. Victoria watched the two adults go over by Will, Joyce handing Hopper a drawing.
"So this thing. This shadow thing. You told your mom it likes it like this. It likes it cold?" Hopper asked Will.
"Yeah". Will nodded.
Victoria slowly walked over, Will looking over at her, his empty eyes widening. "Tori". Will said with some type of relief.
"Hey". Victoria gave him a smile, looking at the picture.
"How do you know that?" Hopper asked Will.
"I just know".
"Does he talk to you?"
"No. It's like...I don't have to think. I just know things now". Will tried to explain. "Things I never did before".
Hopper stood up, sitting on the desk chair, letting Victoria set next to Will.
"What else do you know?"
"It's hard to explain. It's like old memories in the back of my head-"
"Only. They're not yours?" Victoria cut him off. For some strange reason she had a feeling that's what it was. There were times when she was out in the woods that memories happened but it was only glimpses and they weren't hers.
Will looked to her, nodding his head. "I mean, I don't think they're old memories at all. They're...they're now-memories, happening all at once, now".
"Can you describe these now-memories?" Hopper asked.
Will paused for a moment. "I don't know. It's...it's hard to explain".
"I know it's hard but can you just...can you try? For us?" Joyce asked Will, putting an arm around him.
Tears started to gather in Wills eyes. "It's like...they're growing and spreading...killing".
"The memories?"
"I don't know". Will cried. "I'm sorry". Will turned to his mom.
"No, no, no. It's okay, sweetie". Joyce comforted him, looking at a drawing on his board for a few seconds. "Hey, hey, sweetie...what if you didn't have to use words?"
Victoria stayed on the bed while the other three moved. Will took out pieces of paper and then dumped some crayons on the desk before drawing quite aggressively. The phone in the hallway started to ring but Joyce didn't pay any mind to it.
Victoria felt herself dozing off. She wasn't expecting any of this to be happening in the Byers household. She thought that she would just be talking to Will and ask how he was doing. But everything seemed so different. The sound of crayons being scribbled on the paper and then papers being flown on the ground, was all the paid attention too. After a few more minutes she let out a deep breath before standing up.
"See you around, Will". Victoria didn't wait for Will to turn around or say anything, she exited his room, making her way in the family room where she saw Joyce and Hopper standing in front of all the drawings Will did.
"He said they were killing". Hopper told Joyce. "Vines". Hopper grabbed his coat and hat. "He's drawing vines". Hopper told Joyce and then left the house.
"Well. I should go". Victoria said, nodding once Hopper left, looking at the drawings.
"Oh, ok". Joyce gave the girl a nod.
"Bye". Victoria then left, leaving Joyce to look at the drawings.
