Naruto Pov. 

'So this is how I die, at the hands of my friends.' Naruto thought. Every one held their breath in anticipation, waiting for Naruto's now inevitable death. Naruto closed his eyes and braced himself for the beating, but none came.

'What?' Naruto thought, 'why did they stop?' Naruto opened his eyes to see who stopped Sakura and Sasuke.

The whole crowd and Naruto gasped. There, holding Sakura's wrist in mid punch while the other hand pointed Sasuke's own sword at his his troat, was the Kyuubi, Kurama. Yellow flames dances around her feet while she herself was clad in an orange rob and her bright red hair tied back in a high pony tail. Her crimson red eyes shown with a silent dare for any one to make a move, while her face held no expression.

"Kurama how?" Naruto asked with a stranded voice, he hated feeling weak but he was still getting used to the fact that he no longer had those dreaded chains that would suck all of the wearers chakra out of his body. They wear only meant for transport use because having them on 24/7 would slowly kill the wear from lack of chakra. Naruto had worn them for two years strait. It was only because of Kurama that he was still alive. Kurama turned her head to her host, her kit, and her face softened to a sisterly/motherly expression.

"Hello Kit!" she said.

"Kurama your a girl!?" Naruto said trying again and again failing to get to his feet, "why didn't you tell me? I though--" Naruto sentence was cut short. On the the villager had snuck up behind Naruto when Kurama went to push Sakura away while Naruto yelled at her. When she heard Naruto stop in mid sentence she wiped around, sword ready for what ever scared Naruto. What she saw made her blood lust leek to some of the nearest people. Hind Naruto was a villager, Kurama watched in horror as the villager drove a sword into Naruto's lower abdomen, the front of the sword sticking out of his front. As the villager did this he yelled, "die demon! Killer of the hokage! Die monster!"

Kurama Pov.

Kurama dashed over to Naruto, on the way she stuck her sword into the villager that hurt Naruto gut. It was not an ingery that would kill him, she knew Naruto would not want that, just a very pailful ingery. She cought Naruto just before he hit the ground. 'Oh my kit, why do you let them do this to you? You are worth more then this. You are the only angel among us demons.' (Kurama private thoughts)

"Kurama, don't hurt them, please! They are just blinded by fear and hate. Don't hurt them," and with this Naruto Uzumaki blacked out. By this time Kurama's blood lust was gushing out. Her crimson eyes like fire, 'I'm sorry kit, I - I can't leave them alone, not after this. But I promise I wont kill them.'

"You demons! You hurt the only precipitation you have against me. If Naruto had not told me I must not kill you, you would all be died," and with that Kurama made sure that every one, EVERY one, had a broken bone or two.

"You will all be sorry, their is only one that is blameless in this village for what you have done to Naruto. Did you every really get to know Naruto? Not that loud, bratty, unskilled fool at Naruto put on as a mask to hide his pain? No not one among you here tried nor carried. One day Naruto will return and show you his true power." Kurama said to the piles and piles of groaning and crying people.

Stepping over the bodies that layed on the ground, Kurama made her way to her still sleeping host. When she reached him, Kurama picked him up bridal style and disappear with a flash of yellow flame just as the backup ANBU arrived.

(100 miles way from Hidden Leaf, in the forest. 30 minutes later.)

Naruto began to stir in Kurama's arms.

"Keep still kit, your wound is still healing," Kurama said in a calming voice

Naruto opened his sky blue eyes, "were our we going?"

"Some place were you will never have to wear your mask again. I place were you will be excepted and truly loved. We are going to the Village Hidden in the Sand. Their I will tell the Kazakage the true story. Don't worry about him think that we are lying. Tailed beast can't lying to jinchuriki, even if they are just a former Jinchuriki we still can't lie to them.
