Prologue
Where am I? I wonder as I swim through the sea of darkness. I was lost, all I could see what dark walls all around. The only feeling I was aware of was my body floating. There was no more pain, no more blood, nothing. I was starting to panic.
"Do not panic, little one," a soft female voice whispers. I shiver unpleasantly.
"Where am I?" I ask. My voice sounding small and very frightened.
"You're in the Dreamer's Land," she replies. Her voice was silky smooth, full of pure and innocence. "It's where the souls go to stay for a while."
"Souls?" I asked. Looking around before realizing that I still could not see anything. "Who are you? Where are you?"
A small, girlish giggle ran across the unforgiving black sky or what I thought was the sky.

"So," I said to the emptiness. "You determine who leaves?"
"Yes, little one." I smile slightly as my head was starting to wrap around this new information.
"Good. Well can I leave?" Laughter booms all around me like thunder.
"Oh little one. You've already left." I frown.
"No mysterious talking lady that I can't see, I'm still here."
"Little one," she says gently. "You've already left. Now you're here to be judged."
"You're not making any sense at all!" I say, biting the inside of my cheek until I could taste blood. I was trying so hard not to scream. She laughs.
"All will be made clear to you in a little bit." She says. And then I was left alone all by myself in the dark...
