his room was nice it smelled  like cologne . I looked around while he packed, all of his little figurines all the posters   it was weird being in here I felt... un welcome my anxiety had spiked. " hey I'm going out side I'll be in the car if you need me" he nodded and asked " are you okay?" I smiled and nodded walking out of the room. I walked down the hall as fast as I could when I made it out side I tried to catch my breath I held my chest. I couldn't think straight what's going on? I looked around "I just need to make it to the car". I looked around spotting the car I tried walking to it as fast as I could when I was almost to the car I felt someone wrap there arms around me I started screaming and thrashing around the only thought running through my mind was I'm not going to be raped again until I herd " woe chill out psycho" I froze and looked at jax   I sighed " you looked like you needed help, are you okay?" I smiled " yeah just fine" he paused for a second " then why'd you freak out?" I froze oh no what am I going to say? he stared at me "well?" I tensed up " I.. uh ... um" I started to cry collapsing onto the ground he rushed over holding me " if you don't want to tell me you don't have to" I looked at him might as well get this over with I looked at the ground "listen I-I was r-" before I finished my sentence he cut me off "I'm so so so sorry" "don't apologize for something that wasn't your fault" he just went silent, the whole car ride was silent. "so.." he looked over at me " who was it?" I sighed " notice how the only family I talk to is my mom and dad?" he looked up at me in shock " it was my uncle" I went quiet. "when did this happen?" I sighed 

*flash back*

    my breathing was heavy as I ran. I was finally doing it running away from home I felt the rush of adrenaline I smiled for the first time in years. I had seen my cousins house up ahead I ran as fast as I could I tapped on her window  she opened it "spencer?!!"I could here the nervousness in her voice  "shush keep it down I don't want anyone knowing I'm here" she stared at me for a second and sighed "come in but hurry up" I smiled as she helped pull me up through her window. "I'll only be here for a few day I promise" she smiled weakly "so what happened?" I sighed holding back tears "he hit me again.. I just needed to get away" she sighed walking up and hugging me "you cant let him do that anymore"  "I-I know I wont"  she smiled awkwardly trying to cheer me up. I smiled wiping away my tears" thanks for letting me stay" "your welcome to stay here any time" I smiled she truly cared about me. the next few days were peaceful and quiet mostly because it was the weekend and everyone was asleep, but it was just nice our house had been mostly screaming and yelling on the weekends.  I looked over at the door I felt kind of uneasy I looked away and stared at the window for a few seconds before I herd the door slam open I looked over to see my uncle j standing in the door way wasted. I held my breath Anna still hadn't woken up what do I do? I had sat up he stared at me "hi uncle j shouldn't you be sleeping?" I tried to sound tired so he would leave us alone. he walked over and grabbed my wrist pulling me up and out of the room I was holding my breath. he pulled me into his room and I blacked out.

*end of flash back*

"remember that week I ran away from home?" he gave mea look of shock and concern and went quiet again. I couldn't take the silence anymore " so anyway" he looked over at me "hmm?" what was I supposed to say? "how's lily doing?"  lily is his dog "she had a stroke so we had to put her down" " I'm sorry" he smiled "don't be she's in a better place now" I smiled, the sun was beginning to set and I was  becoming tired "hey jax can you find us a place to stay for the night?" he smiled " yeah".
