Weeks went by and pj's training became a regular routine,ink would pick him up on the weekends while he took care of gradient and Pj would come back  exhausted but happy and thats all he needs.

There was a shift in ink's and error's relationship, error wasn't running up to ink and  smothering him in kisses but there was a change. subtle smiles and less aggressive, lingering eye contact and a few blushes here and there.

Ink sat down on the couch, smiling as he thought about how he was spending his last few weeks with error and his family, "what you smiling about?" frisk asked as they flopped down beside him. "no reason" he chuckled, frisk watched him not convinced then it clicked, "you're thinking of someone aren't you" they said with a smirk.

"Maybe,maybe not"he shrugged  avoiding eye contact,this only made frisk more curious. "Is blue?" They asked watching ink's reaction seeing how it had no affect on him,"dream,it has to be him"shaking their head as ink watched them with a cheeky grin.they were both silent for a couple seconds before gasping at their realization.

"IS IT ERROR!" They squealed with stars in their eyes, ink eyes snapped open a rainbow blush painted his skull. "Oh my stars you were thinking about error....do you like him"they whispered smirking at ink.

"What.. why would i be thinking about that..that..guy?!"he stuttered failing to keep his cool,"you like him!!"they giggled ready to tease him when a portal opened up with dream stepping through."ink,i've been trying to reach you for weeks where have you been!"dream yelled walking to ink giving a nod to frisk as a quick greeting.

"Ay dream whats up?" he grinned thankful for the other skeleton arriving when he did, "whats up... you haven't fixed the glitch problem yet!" he yelled , frisk took the opportunity to leave the room to let the two talk in private. "ugh glitch??" he tilted his head in confusion, "in the AU!!" he yelled again, taking a deep breath."come lets go we need to find the glitch" he said grabbing ink's hand and pulling him out of the chair.

he opened a portal and walked through with ink closing the portal behind him. they watched around the area the harsh sun almost blinding them,"so how we supposed to find this glitch" ink asked looking around they seemed to be in a park, "we could split up,but i think you'd forget about it within an hour" dream remarked "hehe i guess you're right" ink chuckled  noticing this was the same park error would bring his kids. "well, i'm not feeling any negative energy"'he looked toward ink "getting anything?"he questioned ink only shook his head hoping error wasn't any where near by. "well this AU is pretty big we better get a move on".

so they set off checking countless streets, sneaking in homes and stores. they weren't getting anywhere so they decided to take a break. "i know a really good restaurant near by we can grab something to eat then continue on" ink suggested, dream was hesitant at first but nodded in agreement. they walked to the restaurant making sure no one saw them while also taking in the beauty of the AU.

"so ink, how'd you fine out about this restaurant?"dream asked watching monsters sit outside the restaurant  enjoying their meals and conversations. "when you come here often you need to know the good places" he smirked as they walked closer dream grinned,"you know a lot ink" not questioning why ink was here often but never found the glitch. as they walked dream stopped walking scanning the area,"hey dream why'd you stop?"ink asked stopping as well looking worried for his friend "somethings off" he said walking but being very cautious,ink looked at him confused then caught sight of a familiar skeleton.

the glitching skeleton was sat in one of the outside chairs wearing a large sunhat and if ink squinted his eyes he could make out a sun dress. the skeleton was hiding their face in the menu even though he could see a milkshake.. actually he saw three milkshakes. ink's heart sunk when he realized it was error and he was with the kids,blinking he quickly shoved dream in another direction.

"ink!!" dream squeaked out in confusion as he was shoved, "ugh you go inside and get us a table" he continued to push dream into the restaurant. once dream was fully in the restaurant being busy getting them a table he rushed over to error almost tripping over a couple of chairs, "error!!" he shouted startling the darker skeleton.

"what the heck INK " he fumbled with the menu then slammed it on the table,"you need to leave" he replied watching him dead in his eyes."yeah i saw you shove dream inside" he growled glaring at ink, ink chuckled nervously feeling like he was about to be murder "why is he here".

"its a long story but we needed to fix a bug with this AU" he explained,  error looked very annoyed at him closing his eyes he took a deep breath then turned to his son gradient who was currently sitting in a high chair playing with his stuff toy not paying attention to their conversation.reaching over he picked gradient out of the chair giggling he immediately  wrapped his legs around his mom.

"i'll need to get inside paperjam is using the bathroom" he said holding gradient with one hand and sipping his milkshake."what no i'll go get..." he stopped  when error raised an invisible eyebrow "yeah that would be weird.. and may look like i'm kidnapping him" he chuckled, error sighed standing up leaving the milkshake behind walking inside glancing back to ink "keep him distracted" then he went inside.

ink waited a couple of minutes then entered, the smell of various food struck him down almost drooling  the dark place was decorated with fairy lights it even had an area for pillow forts and kids were playing while their parents waited for food at tables. it was a cozy little place, as he looked around he spotted the bright eyed  skeleton huddle in a corner sitting in some really cozy chairs, dream waved him over and he made his way over sitting down he smiled at him."this place is really nice ink and the food looks delicious" he said almost vibrating in his seat,"i told you so, what did you order?" he asked trying to buy error time.

"i couldn't decide i was hoping you would help" he picked up the menu  showing it to ink,"what about this?" he pointed to something but ink wasn't paying attention his focus was on error as he was carrying pj outside, their eyes locked for a second  "yea yeah" he nodded as he stared at error walking out. dream noticed him not paying attention but just figured it was just ink being ink.

"okay!" dream waved over a waiter, "hi how may i help you"a cat monster came smiling at them "yes i would like to order a pasta and my buddy" he turned to ink who grinned  back at them "i'll have a taco" she nodded taking down their orders then walked off.

"so how has things been with you" ink asked  sinking into the coziness of the chair, "honestly its been pretty alright, nightmare nor cross has done anything" he sighed joining ink in getting cozy. "what about you?" he asked looking at ink seeing him blush hiding in his scarf." i have been doing stuff" he replied as he looked away he caught sight of error rushing back inside into the bathroom.

"stuff?" dream looked confused at the skeleton trying to see what he was staring at a bathroom? "do you need to use the restroom?" he asked ink looked at him confused for a couple seconds then took this opportunity  to go check on error,"i'll be back"he got up and rushed to the bathroom.

bursting through the door he saw error searching for something,"what are you doing?!"he said walking over to darker skeleton, "gradient left his toy in here" he replied opening a the cover of the trash bin next to the sink. "what can't you just make him another one"ink said looking at error like he was crazy.

"yeah but he'll throw a tantrum and i'm not feeling like to go through that right now" he answered turning the bin upside down to shake out the items, a bunny drop out just like he excepted. grabbing the toy he turned to ink "great now go before dream sees you" he said pointing outside the bathroom. "yeah yeah i'm going" he grumbled rushing out the bathroom.

he waited a couple minutes then left the bathroom , as he was returning he almost spat ink error was currently talking to a lady right in front of dream what luck. sitting next to dream he nervously bit on his nails,"ink you okay you seem nervous" dream ask a hint of worry in his voice he glanced at dream who was staring at then glanced back at error "yeah i'm fine fine"he chuckled.

dream saw the glance over to the strange skeleton that he didn't know was error, smirking he bumped his shoulder into ink grabbing his attention, "so is that why you forgot about the glitch" he tilted his head toward to what he assumed to be a female skeleton. "i guess.." he trailed off not getting what dream was hinting at, "well why don't you go and talk to her?" he suggested smiling at him "huh no i don-"he was cut off by dream yanking him to his feet whole shoving him toward the skeleton.

"we are a bit short on staff tomorrow so we wanted you to come in" 

"yeah can i go now" 

"yes sorry for keeping back i bet you want to go home to your kids" she chuckled leaving to go back to her work, "heyyy" ink said awkwardly error immediately hid his face by pulling the hat cover his face.

"hi..."

"...."

"my buddy here wanted to ask you out" he said winking at ink and returned to their seat giving them a thumbs up, they stood quiet for a couple seconds unsure on how they were getting out of this, "so you wanted to ask me out?"he cringed at just bringing it up what was he even doing he thought holding his hat tighter. "no..well actually..um..your'e very pretty"he stuttered out internally screaming.

"gee thanks"he could hear error rolling his eyes, suddenly he felt like he needed to prove himself, "well you truly are a beauty, i have seen so many things in the multiverse but you by far is the only thing that takes my breath away" he grinned not letting his brain process what he said.

"re..really wha.."error stuttered,ink wondered if he was blushing, "i'd walk a thousand miles just to see you" he purred stepping closer error took a step back trying to keep his glitching at bay, "you are something surely you don't want me" he replied.

"oh but i do" he said it with such assurance that he couldn't tell if ink was acting and glancing up catching his eyes,ink wasn't sure if he was still acting either.

"well maybe you should take me out then"he answered trying to speed up the process before dream actually recognize him, "its a date then" ink smirked "...yeah" he nodded then hurried outside. ink sat back down not believing what just happened as he was given the teasing off a life time from dream.

i wanted to write something fun before things got serious sorry if this chapter felt out of place, the ask blog are open for ask (error-kids) if it is not open let me know. i know the blog seems unactive  but from now we'll be taking questions, fanart and we'll make min stories(requests). i would say drawing too but i suck at art :P  you will also get sneak peeks of the upcoming chapter,  it sounds lame but its the most i can do XD, come stop by we can chat in these hard times :)
