Scanning through all the worlds that often brought him joy when he check up on them through his windows,something felt different ink wasn't eager to see them it left a sour taste in his mouth, if he had a soul it would be stinging but instead  he felt empty he felt lonely,with each au he check on the feeling grew and grew into ball that stung an angry voice echoing with jealously. Then his eyes widen as he heard laughter echo in the doodle sphere it wasn't menacing in fact it was like music a lovely melody that you'd want to hold onto,without realizing it he followed the sweet symphony ,as he got closer he realized it was mixture of kids laughing and joyful screams,'oh what a harmony' then he saw it.

Error chasing Pj as gradient rode on his back like a horse.

'He's happy'

'He has a family'

'He's wanted'

'He's needed'

So unlike you

The smile that found its way on inks face slowly faded.

pathetic.

Even the destroyer is loved

And you thought he was the evil one

He watched error pretend to die when PJ stabbed him with a cardboard sword,gradient laid on top of him close to tears when error sprung to life and pinned them both down as they squeal for him to get off.

Look at him,you're the souless on

A tear stroll down his cheek as he frowned looking away from the happy family.

He stood in outertale looking down a cliff watching the stares twinkle with life  anyother time he'd enjoy the view but not today it felt different he felt like a shadow of his former self.he was trying to avoid error he kept hinself busy the past few days? weeks? he couldn't bring himself to face him he felt sick at the thought of error being happy.he thought they had something in common that being they were alone guess he was wrong,he didn't know why he was here outertale of all places one of error's favorite AU's and he could see why,beautiful view clam atmosphere and quiet other than the twinkle of the stars,it was very peaceful.

So why did he feel nothing,why did he feel like he was missing,like he was incomplete. The wind blew making his scarf flap in the air a shiver went down his entire body,for once he actually felt cold. He took a step closer to the edge 'I am not needed' he thought looking at how close he was to falling off.

"Ink?" His body froze he knew that voice even if it wasn't glitched,he stepped away from the edge and turned around and met error's concern look the glitched portal behind error looked like it was from his kitchen as it slowly closed behind him he could smell something cooking,"what..are you okay?"his stomach twist at how worried error seemed 'please don't worry bout me',he gave error his best grin but error already gave him that stern don't bullshit me look,he sighed deciding might as well tell him."i was just-" he didn't know what he was doing really,his eyes widen as he connected the dotes"ink...where is this coming from?" Ink gritted his teeth"why'd you care"he snapped he didn't mean it,it kinda just came out "you never cared before"error slowly approach him unsure if he should reach out."no one cares, and don't lie to me and say you care cause I know you don't,all you care about is your damn kids" he looked at error hearing a sudden ringing in his non existing ears he felt a wave of heat wash over him as he yelled"the only reason you've told me your serect is cause PJ probably begged you to",error got defensive"i'll be a pretty shitty parent if i didn't care about my kids,yeah i might not care but others do" he yelled back."no they dont they just want me to do my job and thats it,everyone has a life while i just sit around until im needed"his hands balled up into fist,"then get a life that's not my fault do stuff no ones stopping you!"error shouted "I can't cause I'm stuck doing YOUR job!!"he screamed at error,"well I never asked to have kids" his voice glitched as he choked on a sob.

The place was quite the heat of the argument still fresh in the air,error's eyes widen to pure terror when ink backed back and fell,apparently ink forgot he was a clif.errors face soon disappeared form his view as he fell to only be replaced with stars the wind roaring loudly in his ears he felt numb,he closed his eyes accepting death.

His eyes snapped open when he felt someone barely grabbed onto his arm,error was holding onto him with his right hand by the elbow while his left hand held onto his strings that were hanging onto the clif error's strings were strong so it no question it wouldn't snap other their weight but error was indeed slipping,"error?"he started "save it"error gritted out trying to hold them up he slipped just a few inchs earning a yelp from them both "open a protal"error command not looking at ink "why can't you do it"he said a bit harsh error slipped another inch causing error to whimper "what's wrong can't you summon a protal"ink lashed out "ink please"he begged ink huff then grabbed his brush to open a protal error released  his grasp on his string,they both fell down to the anti void's white floor.

After serval minutes of them groaning from the pain,error ended up landing on ink's chest  knocking the wind out of him.error sat face to face with ink they both had a lot on their minds,ink couldn't take it anymore he started to sobb it also kind of triggered error into crying they both ended up cuddling each other ad they cried they're hearts out.

After a while of them taking deep breathes error speaks up"I'm sorry its just you... I dreamt something similar only it was with PJ and I couldn't do anything"he explains wiping his tears away he leaned on ink's head "it's okay... I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that about you're kids"ink replied enjoying error's touch for some odd reason,error took in a shaky breath"if you ever feel lonely you can always visit PJ loves you"he said trying to comfort ink,who smiled at the thought "yeah thanks,why couldn't you open a protal" he asked error wince "tried, couldn't muster enough energy to open one"he closed his eyes,now that ink was this close to error which he was sure would never happen again he could see the tiredness on his features a hint of stress.

They laid in silence for a soils minutes before broke it "I'm kinda hungry",error laughed a sound that ink didn't think he'd love the way he did.

maybe he could live a while longer

(Is that angst I tried to make it as believable as possible I'm pretty proud of this chapter mostly cause I was planing it for so long)
