"Hi error sorry to bother you but your three year gradient has been showing signs of a cold I recommended you come pick him up right away,thank you"said one of the daycare workers error sighed in frustration"yeah I'll be there as soon as I can" he respond hanging up, he opens a portal leading out of underfell to the hs universe,just as he gets a day off and is about to go off killing some monsters he gets a call to come  pick gradient up, as much as he's upset about the whole situation he sucks it up.

Error quietly opens to the door of the daycare and is greeted by the owners who are holding gradient as he wiggles around in the robot's arm,"sorry again for the inconvenience" the ghost apologize "it's alright"he lied taking gradient away from the robot,he immediately cuddled up to error,error said his goodbyes and left,as he was walking towards the car he realized how warm gradient was and decided to by some medicine on the way home.

He gentle rest gradient in his bed turning the fan on so gradient wouldn't burn up,he quietly left the room but as soon as he took a seat he heard cries from gradient,he open the door and picked up gradient rocking him"shhh shhh" he clam him down "thirsty?"he ask gradient nodded as he buried his face in errors clothes,he took gradient downstairs pour some water in his sippycup and allowed him to take small sips as he sits on his lap.

Error finally got gradient to sleep and was hungry so he decided to head to the kitchen for something,when walked in the he jump back little but realize it was only ink who was sitting on the counter top"fucking hell ink,what are you doing here"he whisper yell not wanting wake up gradient"just wanted to check up on-" error hush ink as they heard a small whimper coming from upstairs,error let out a breath of relief when the whimpering stop,ink looked at him confused error rolled his eyes and went to the fridge and grab an apple to munch on he sat back on a chair and bite into the apple as ink continued to watch him confusingly,
"gradient's sick"he stated taking another bite from the apple ink nodded in understanding"how'd he get sick"he whispered over to error,"i don't know a flu has been going around"he answered taking another bite "hm so... Where's PJ?"ink question error didn't answer him and continued to eat his apple.

Ink stared at error for a bit then looked around, he looked outside error's kitchen window,the skies were grey and the wind was blowing rather roughly then it started to drizzle soon it began to pour,ink looked at the seat were error once was but he wasn't there no more,he was by the bin throwing away what was left of the apple,a loud crash of thunder scared them both.

"Waaaaah ga ahhh waaah"

Error and ink left the kitchen and was bout to check on gradient when the front door slammed open to reveal a soaked paperjam he flinch at the sound of thunder,Ink looked at error then back at PJ "I'll get some towels and fresh cl-"error got cut off by gradient's cry he sighed and headed upstairs.

Ink helped dried PJ off in the bathroom they heard coughing coming from the bedroom,"why are you soak don't the bus pick you up?"ink question taking PJ's wet shirt and handing him a clean dry one "mike was chasing me so I missed the bus"he explained outing on his shirt,"huh"was his reply as he handed pj some pants.

"Drink it please" error begged gradient to drink some of his medicine,he shook his head then started to cough "do really wanna stay sick"he said in a gentle voice gray thought about it before opening his mouth to take the disgusting medicine,"eww ..cough.. Cough..."gradient said  as he was picked up,error took gradient back to his room and rest him down so he could get some rest,error was about to leave the room bit gradient cried out for him"mommy...it hurts"error rest his hands on gradients cheeks he could almost feel the pain through his eyes,"i know but you'll get better soon"he said comforting gradient,gray held onto error's finger's like he used too when he was first born,"mom can you sing~"he groaned,error hated singing but he'll do it just for his kids

"Let's go in the garden you'll fine something waiting,right where you left it, lying upsidedown, when you finally find it you'll see how it's faded the underside is lighter when you turn it around"

"Everything stays,right where you left it,everything stays but it still changes ever so slightly daily and nightly in little ways"

Gradient had fallen asleep already,error removed his hand from gradient's cheeks "you're a great singer"ink teased ruining the sweet moment and laying PJ on his bed who had also fallen asleep"how long were you two listening"he asked out of embarrassment "long enough for PJ to fall asleep" ink stated tucking in pj error glared at ink before leaving the room.

Error cleaned up whatever mess it had he flinch at the thunder,he kinda liked the rain even though it scared him at times "soo..."  "Ugh what is it ink"he groan out turning towards ink,"who's mike?" Ink asked "a kid with rich parents from PJ's school why?"he told ink seem slightly annoyed"you know PJs being bul-" ink stop himself before finishing his sentence,knowing error he'd probably kill the kid,"PJ's being what?"error said waiting for his answer impatiently"ugh now don't get mad" ink started not sure if he should lie or continue now telling him"I won't get mad just tell me"he said tapping his feet,"you promise"he stall"yes just tell me your pissing me off"error glitches a bit "well PJ's being bullied by the kid name mike" ink said and waited for error to explode but he didn't,"thats it"he question "yeah" ink respond "ok" error walked away.

"Your not mad"

"No why should i"

"Cause your son is getting bullied and your not doing anything about it" ink said as he started to question error's parenting skills "i am" ink stared at error dumbfounded then realize error was texting someone "who you texting" ink asked "babysitter I'll need one for when I visit Mike's parents tomorrow" ink's eyes widen when he realize what error was talking about

"Error no"

"Error yes"

After that ink somehow convinced error not to kill the parents and left and it was the next day

Error somehow woke up early to the sound of a bell ringing "the fuck what do you want" error open the front door but found no one there but he did find a bouquet on his step,he smelt the pretty flowers'smells nice' he thought it also came with a card
