Goldilocks and the Wolf from the Three Little Pigs
Once upon a time, long ago and in a land far away, there lived three little piggies who were brothers. They had built a brick house to keep the wolf from huffing and puffing and blowing the house down to eat them. They liked oatmeal but fought about the best way to eat it. The oldest piggy liked his oatmeal cold. The middle piggy liked his oatmeal not too hot and not too cold. The youngest piggy liked his oatmeal very hot. They loved their house because it was safe from the wolf. They were so happy that they played music on their fiddles as they went off to market, leaving the door wide open in their rush.
As the piggies were far far away, a small girl named Goldilocks for her golden hair found the house with the open door. She wandered in, seeing food on the table. Her stomach growled... or maybe the growl came from the wolf hiding in the woods.
"I wonder who lives here?" Goldilocks said to herself as she climbed up the too large seat. She could barely reach the food. She took a bite of the oatmeal and spat it out.
"Yuck! That was too cold! Who even made that? It's so gross!" She complained as she jumped down from the chair and climbed up the too hard chair. She pulled the oatmeal closer to her, accidentally spilling some on herself.
"OUCH! Why's it so hot? What will I do?" Goldilocks cried, her hand hurting.
"I can help you. Would you like me to blow on it for you?" Goldilocks turned to look at the person who spoke. Behind her was a wolf.
Now, Goldilocks' parents never taught her about not talking to strangers or sneaking into people's houses and stealing their food. She smiled at the wolf, forgetting her mother's warning about never trusting a wolf. The wolf smiled back.
"Thank you, Mr. Wolf! The oatmeal's really hot." She said, happy that someone would help her.
"You're welcome. Thank you for leaving the door open." The wolf said as his smile got bigger before he started to huff and puff. His huffing and puffing blew the house away. Goldilocks flew up into the sky.
The wolf laughed as he hid behind a tree. The three little piggies returned from the market with lots of food in their arms. They dropped all the food when they saw that their house was gone.
"Oh no! The wolf blew it away!" cried the youngest piggy. The oldest piggy looked around before picking up a brick.
"Guess we need to build it again." And the piggies started to build a new house. Before they could pick up another brick, the wolf jumped out from behind the tree and startled the piggies. Before the wolf could do anything else, Goldilocks landed on him. She groaned as she rubbed her head, the wolf unconscious.
"Thank you for saving us!" The piggies said. Goldilocks blushed before looking down.
"I'm sorry for sneaking into your house and taking food from you," Goldilocks said.
"It's okay. You were so brave to tell us the truth." With that, all four of them started to build the house, the wolf tied to a tree.
The End
