Alyssa's POV:

I woke up abruptly from the noise of my alarm,turned it off sharply, I wanted to sleep more but I have to get up for school,

Carlos came to my mind instantly, as he will pick me up from now on, I took a shower and wore a dark green shirt which had a big "Nope"on it and black jeans,

I was having breakfast when I heard a car pulling in my drive way, the sound was different, I picked up my back and headed to the door, locked it and turn,

"Stanley?",

"Hey babe Carlos asked me to pick you up today, he got caught up in some shit, lets go", I was feeling weird, he was the one who proposed this idea in the first place then he bailed on me,

I was happily driving to my school everyday,"you didn't have to, he could have messaged me, I would have gone myself, as I have a car too you know its small but it works like a charm", I said to him normally, I was pissed now, that he ditched me, who cares he must be picking his side chicks, I rolled my eyes,

"Nonsense, he said he will do it then he will cupcake, he was about to leave the house but some thing came up,he said sorry, he will pick you up tomorrow",

well he said sorry I thought to myself while fixing my bag,

"Lets go or we will be late for our first period,you know how Mr Maximilian gets",

"okay" he opened the door for me, I smiled softly and hugged him as I went closer then took my seat,

we were talking the whole ride, he was obviously goofing around, but I was not actually in the mood for jokes,

I was feeling tired, was I missing Carlos, no that's not it, why would I miss him, he is not my boyfriend, we are just friends,a feeling of abandonment hovered over my senses,I am getting sensitive day by day,

Stanley patted my shoulder, I looked to the driver seat but he was not sitting anymore,

"What are you thinking about?,the school is here, are you feeling well today",

"Yeah sorry, I am good" I got out, we walked towards the entrance, the school bell rang Carlos didn't show up at all,

first period I was not attentive, second period I wanna go home, third period I feel sick, fourth I am gonna die,

lunch time I didn't even touch my fruit cake, I was not hungry, Maddy was worried, I told her I just feeling a little off today,

Mason tried to cheer me up but he failed miserably, Stan comforted me by rubbing my hands I just smiled,nothing worked or distracted me from my unknown sadness,

all the periods went like this,all felt dull,

I looked at Carlos's seat often, it was empty so as my heart right now, why am I feeling like this, am I falling for him, school was over now,

I was walking with Carlos I mean Stanley, "Um can I come with you to see Carlos?",

"you wanna meet him?", he asked while opening the door for me, I played with my hair,

"Um yeah to check if he is alright or maybe talk to him", he smiled,"Chill lets go, you can also see where we live this way",

"Where you guys headed?" Mason came running,

"To our pad she wants to see Carlos" he looked my way and passed me a friendly grin,

"cool I am going with Maddy for some stuff she needs,why don't I bring her too then we all will hangout",

"Sounds great what say cupcake?" Stan asked, I nodded, Mason left us and strode towards his car,

I saw Maddy waving I waved back, he got in and drove away,we were driving now,

"Let's give Carlos a surprise, he has been calling me like crazy asking for you" I was attentive now, he was asking about me,a small grin played on my lips,

"He was asking about me?", I inquired shyly,

"Yeah like crazy, when I told him you were sick, he was really worried, he asked me to keep you happy",a sudden lightness lifted my mood up

he was being so nice and caring Aw, I felt butterflies in my stomach fluttering, I pinched myself to check if it was a dream,but fortunately for me I was awake...

I was feeling better now, the car moved to a street with big houses with really well architectural structures,

they were pretty big and looked expensive, our car went in one of the houses, it was really pretty and looked very modern, this is where they live Woah I was impressed,

the house was white colored with big windows, I saw different cars and bikes standing in the drive way, what caught my eyes was Carlos's Viper, it was looking gorgeous in the sun like always, I got out. and we climbed the stairs, Stan opened the door and let me in,

I went in the house first,it was huge, well furnished, manly taste in furniture choice,less colorful, Black and white furniture in the lounge,there was a dining room,

the whole room looked like it was made of glass, there was a back door in the lounge I could see a pool, infront of me were stairs in the hall, maybe leading towards the bed rooms,

"Like what you see" Stan was standing beside me,

"it is so beautiful, how do you guys afford this mansion", I was shocked, he laughed,

"Perks of being bachelors cupcake, you won't understand it", he was going upstairs,

"where are you going?","to get a shower, Carlos is in the kitchen, it is beside the lounge" he disappeared,

I stood there for five minutes then slowly moved my feet towards the lounge,

everything was proper almost perfect, the floor was shining, I could see my reflection in it,I turned and saw the kitchen entrance,

I saw Carlos standing,his back was towards the door where I was standing,

there were two doors that lead to the kitchen, I stepped in from the big one,

"Hey how are you?" he turned,I gasped,

wait he is not Carlos, he was much taller than Carlos, he had Steel gray eyes,firm features, he looked  more powerful and authoritative,

Carlos looks less dangerous than him, he was not wearing a shirt, he had a tattoo on his left chest that said "R.C" I understood the C its Crawford but R was out of Question,

I was almost glued to my spot due to fear, he was staring at me, glaring me down like Carlos like does often,

he is almost a bigger version of Carlos,maybe he is his brother!!,

Omg he is hot Ssh Alyssa, he moved from the other side there was a counter in between us, he was coming my way,in minutes he was right infront of me,

I was staring at him, he was huge as compared to my tiny frame,his muscles enhancing his power and structure,

"um sorry I thought you were Carlos" I said in a mere whisper, I was scared, why was I scared, his glare turned into a stronger glare,

"who let you in!" he said in anger,

"Stanley, I am his friend",

"Alyssa?", I turned around swiftly at the mention of my name like a loyal pet would,

I saw Carlos in a towel, water still dripping from his body, does no one wear shirts!!! here,

I went a little closer to Carlos immediately, to get away from Mr angry was my first plan, he scared the hell out of me,

"Hi Carlos you didn't come to school today so I thought I should visit and see if you were okay",

"I am fine, what about you?, Stan said you were sick today", he came closer and touched my forehead, I almost jumped from his cold touch but I composed my self, he was worried,

"I am good Carlos now", "are you sure" he asked his eyes were shining "yeah" he smiled now.

"Ehem" we turned to see Mr Angry bird, he was smirking now,

"So this is Golden", Carlos grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the kitchen,

"Alyssa this is my big bro Ricardo", "nice to meet you golden", he smirked and Carlos glared at him, I was just staring at them one by one,

why was Carlos so anxious all of a sudden,"nice to meet you too Ricardo" I said while walking upstairs with Carlos,he was really fast..

now I was in his room, his room had a dark gray color with white black furniture, some posters of Enrique,he had a huge one above his bed,I was inspecting his room, he was changing,

"sorry about that" he said while standing in the middle of the room,I was settled at the corner of the bed he joined me after a while,

"its okay" I smiled, he was gazing at me now,"nice room,the house too", I said again, he smiled,

"thanks I am glad you came, if I had a clue that you were coming to see me,I would've dressed properly",he said while rubbing his neck, he was embarrassed but why? I thought he likes it when girls see him shirtless, well he is different,I am impressed,

"well the score is same now, you saw me and now I saw you at least I didn't say wow" I said teasingly, he laughed, I was feeling alot better now,I was missing him after all,

"yeah I feel a little disappointed at that",he smirked, he was him self again, "well it was Stan's idea to surprise you, he told me you were asking him about me alot, thank you for caring", he was red now,

"he told you that , um yeah you know how much I care for my people" he was nervous,I placed my hand on his knee in affection,

"thank you Carlos you don't know how much it means to me that someone cares",we were gazing in each other's eyes now, his eyes softened,

"you know I will always care for you Alyssa you are a really beautiful and intelligent girl, I have never met someone like you before, I am glad Maddy found you" he winked, I was speechless,extremely reddened by his statement,

"your brother seems scary" he chuckled,"no he looks scary in reality he is like me",

"well the first thing he said was who let you in",

"haha dont worry, many girls sometimes disturb me by doing that, you know breaking in so that they can see me",

"really that happens to you?",

"alot he must have thought that",

"I was also a stalker" I rolled my eyes, he was amused,"you have named me Golden huh",

"yeah", "what should I name you, maybe superman", "why?" he looked offended maybe he wanted to be batman I laughed,

"because you gave Damon a superman punch, I was so shocked", he smirked he was gazing at the wall,clearly recalling the events again in his mind, I guess,

"fine I will call you my Wonder woman then", "yeah sure", he was staring affectionately at me again and I was red again, he just called me his!!! but he must call all girls his,

"Ehem" I stood up, "Hey stan" he was smirking and staring at Carlos, they were conversing through eye contact now, I think Carlos won, his glaring game is amazing,

"Mason and Maddy are here let's go" "are we going somewhere?" Carlos was confused I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the room, he tightened his hold,

we came down, "finally! you two are a thing", Maddy shouted, Mason and Ricardo were laughing, they paused when they saw us, Stan turned around,

"What wait no" I saw my hand in his, I let go immediately, he was staring at me no feeling were visible on his face,

"we are just friends, I was just holding his hand", they all were conversing with each other through eye contact,why can't I be a part of it,

"more like best friends", Carlos teased while putting his hand on my shoulder, I smiled,

"Okay but do tell me if something happen" Maddy teased, I glared at her, Me and Maddy were talking in the pool area, enjoying the scenery, the house was on the second floor so the pool was up too,

the pool touched the boundary wall of the mansion,it was like we can stand in the pool and get a view,

a beautiful view of far away mountains and roads and some houses it was like the house was half build on a cliff or something, it was just scenic,

while talking to her I diverted my gaze to the boys they were in the lounge, they all were alert, standing and talking about something serious, they caught me staring, I immediately shifted my gaze back to Maddy,

"if only I could jump in the pool", Maddy said heaving a huge sigh, I saw the boys entering the pool area, Mason was amused,

"wanna pool party babe" Maddy was happy she looked my way, I moved my head in disagreement,

"Come on Alyssa you never have fun!",

yeah but it will mean I have to change into a bikini!!! are you freakin crazy!!!! they are all boys and Carlos is a player, what if,, ahho bad idea big nope,

"no I don't know Maddy I am a little tired", Boys were amused,Ricardo was smirking confidently, Mason was gazing at me with pleading eyes,

"If you don't do it I am gonna jump off this cliff",

"Maddy", "no", "can I talk to you privately",Maddy grabbed my hand and pulled me into the lounge, I smiled to them, and closed the glass door behind me, I heard laughter,

they were obviously entertained by my awkwardness, "what sunshine!" great now she is naming me too,

"I cant just get into a bikini in front of them I feel shy",

"don't worry they are not creeps" maddy said, I looked at the glass door and burst out laughing, "Maybe Mason is exceptional", he was literally glued against the door with puppy dog eyes he mouthed "say yes",

I laughed hard, boys laughed too when they saw Mason goofing around,he opened the door and barged in leaving the door completely open after him,

"I know you feel shy right Alyssa" did he just read my mind,

"um yes", "don't worry we are not creeps plus wait I have a thing for you", he runs upstair and comes back in five minutes sharp, everyone was staring at him,

"here you go" they were still out, we were in, but all were confused, "a shirt",

"yeah you can wear it in the pool" Maddy kissed Mason, "I love you Mr intelligent", I chuckled, "please say yes",

"yes" he bear hugged me gladly, "I cant breathe papa bear", he let go,"I like the name", Mason was feeling proud , boys were smiling,

"okay here goes nothing" I said to myself,
