Carlos's POV:

We came home after dropping Alyssa, I was angry at her, so I thought it would be better if I keep my mouth shut, she tried to communicate but I didn't budge, so she gave up,

"So this is where you live sweet" Jordan said while taking in the beauty of our bachelor pad, he was impressed, "What do you guys do for a living by the way", we ignored his question,

"your room is upstair with our rooms we have extra bed rooms, if you need anything just ask me"Mason said politely, fake politeness huh,I smirked,

"Thank you so much guys, you didn't have to, I could have slept in Alyssa's lounge she has a comfy couch", he said while thinking,

"Its cool man, make yourself at home chill, you are gonna join us so it's best for us to get a little bit acquainted", Mason said normally his facial expressions were unreadable, he nodded in agreement,

"Are you tired?" "Nope I don't sleep until 2:00 so if you don't mind we can have a chat or I will watch t.v" Jordan said smiling, why is he acting so cool, what is he trying to show,

"Yeah sure let's talk" Mason said to him, he placed his arm around his shoulder and took him towards the lounge,

I was angry to see him with her, he was actually flirting and she didn't mind at all, I was so furious and now he is gonna join us too, I hate him already, we all settled in the lounge,

"so you visit your grandma's huh" Stan asked, "Yeah she lives here alone so I have to come check on her every now and then, she is old but freaking active, she parties like crazy, right now she is having a bash in Seattle with her squad and yes they have a squad" he laughed, Mason and Stan were amused,

"If you knew she was in Seattle then why did you came to Miami after all", Mason asked while opening his beer can, I observed,

"Well today in the morning when I arrived, she was here in Miami, I went to get some groceries and when I returned, she announced that she is going to Seattle for a party, I protested but she said you are a young man live a little and stop babysitting me, go live with your girl friend, she still thinks Alyssa and I are together", he confessed all of it,

I was angry at the end part, tell me about your feelings lover boy, I spitted in my mind, I was on fire right now,

"So that's why you came to Alyssa?" Mason asked,

"yeah I knew she would understand, she always does", he smiled while thinking of her, I wanted to pound him,

"you don't talk much do you?" he asked me politely, I just stared, Mason and Stan gave me a look, I gave up,

"I am tired that's all" I said to him normally, "you should rest man don't waste your energy on me" you are right, but I am on a mission to know how you still feel about her, he smiled,

"Its cool nothing a beer can't fix" I said while drinking,

"So how you guys broke up?" Stan asked finally!, I love you for that man!,

"well when Alyssa announced this unfortunate thing, it was like someone dropped a bomb on me, I was not only gonna lose my girl friend but my best friend too, we were both so broken, but we knew nothing could be done", I felt a little bad for him now,

"Do you still have feelings for her" I asked curiously, I wanted to know, "does it matter now" he said, he was a little pale now,

"Yes it does, have you moved on or not" I said to him straight, I was not in a mood to goof around, Mason and Stan were eyeing me, I ignored them, he smiled,

"So you like her huh" he said, I was shocked and caught off guard, Mason and Stan were shocked too, how did he, he was staring at me blankly,

"I know you like her, I knew it from the start, everyone was calm but you were so stiff, you didn't like it when I flirted with her, I know you wanted to hit me, I could feel she was really uncomfortable when I held her hand infront of you, she never gets uncomfortable with me, so I figured and connected the dots", he said to me with a mere smile,

Mason and Stan were quiet, "Don't worry man I am old news,you are the new thing, her future, I am no longer her man, I knew she would find someone someday, but I didn't know this early, why wouldn't she, she is just perfect, everyone wants a girl like her", he further stated,

he was sad but I didn't thought he would let her go that easily, "I thought you would fight for her, or atleast try, why did you give up so easily", I said to him observing his every move,

"long distance relationships don't work Carlos,they are pretty hard and she needs someone who is always there for her, by agreeing on long distance thing will be a little selfish of me, I would be happy but she will be all alone, plus her father is always on business tours", he rolled his eyes,

"so what now, are you two cool" Mason asked,

"I am down if you are", Jordan said to me, he really is friendly, he loved her too much that he even let her go, I am impressed,

"I am down" I smiled now, "Good to see you smile man" I laughed, "sorry man for the attitude" I owned him an apology I admit, "No prob man I think you will be good for her, she has a habit for getting into trouble with girls because of her temper, you can come in handy" he joked I laughed,

"Yeah she is quite impressive I like it when she stands up for herself she looks so bad ass" now we all were laughing and goofing around, playing games, our guard was down now, he is cool, he doesn't have a temper, nor he fights, a good kid, come to think of it,time flew by very fast we didn't know it was 3:00 in the morning until Stan checked his mob, we showed him around, our pool area, training area, kitchen, spare bed rooms everything, then we hit the sacks,

I crawled in my bed and checked my phone for the last time, there was a message from Alyssa at 12:00 "please don't kill my best friend" I chuckled she had send those crying emojis with it, I sent her a pic of us together having fun, and a good night message, I could hear her sweet voice in my mind,

"Good night Carlos",

"Good Night Golden"
