I awoke when I felt someone carring me. I squawked tiredly when they stopped.

"Oops I think she woke up." James said, I looked up at him as he uncovered me.

"Yep she's awake sorry baby girl I was trying to get you and mommy moved in without waking you. But looks like daddy's plan was a bust." He chuckled petting me.

"That's why I said we can move my things tomorrow but you wanted to do it now. Sorry baby daddys impatient." She teased him as they walked up the stairs to an empty room full of boxes.

"See baby this is going to be your room once you're old enough. But for now you'll be sleeping with us how's that sound?" He asked putting me down I chirped excitedly walking around the huge room. I felt so tiny in it. It was so big.

"I think she likes it." He chuckled as I ran over to him nuzzling his leg. He laughed picking me up and walking out shutting the door walking into another room. Their bedroom mom set down her boxes and jumped on the bed he chuckled setting me down in the blanket. I climbed out and ran over to her I pecked her hand she giggled petting me.

"Okay baby girl I get it I'm awake." She joked lifting her head up. I climbed up her arm chirping looking around the huge room. When he picked me up.

"Hey you want to nap while I take her to get a companion?" He asked she nodded groaning laying her head down he kissed her head.

"Alright I love you dear you get some rest." He whispered.

"I love you too honey okay I'll be right here." She muttered with her face burried in the blankets. He chuckled walking out. He walked down stairs and walked out side to his red dragon. He climbed on taking off into the air we flew to huge moutain to a cluster of caves where the dragons nest. I chirped pionting in the direction of a large black and red dragon. He walked over till he seen the one I was looking at.

"No baby girl she's aggressive." He said, when I jumped out of his hand onto the ground she sniffed me bowes her head and backed away reavealing a clutch of eggs I walked over till I found an egg I liked. I snuggled up to it when it suddenly started hatching revealing a golden dragon a make mimic the strongest type of dragon they have power over all elments and can shapeshift into any creature. Not all mimics are gold. The golden dragon is golden Phoenix's companion which is why their gold but not every golden dragon is a mimic I just got lucky. He licked me nuzzling up to me I squawked excitively snuggling up to him he picked us up and walked out he climbed back on his dragon as soon as we were up in the air we both fell asleep snuggling up to eachother. I awoke the next morning to my mother picking us up.

"Well good morning my little angel." She kissed our heads. She walked out carrying us down stairs to the kitchen where daddy was making breakfast. I squawked happily when I seen him making him jump he chuckled.

"That was a close one maybe I do need a servant I almost dropped the plates." He said, looking back at me. I chirped which sounded like laughing.

"Well as long as it's a male servant I don't want another woman in my house." Mom teased.

"What about granny Ester she's a good cook and she's good with kids. None of the males are good with kids." He replied and mom's face lit up.

"Execpt her she's amazing get her I love her." She said excitedly. When an older grey haired woman walked in. Mother squealed hugging her.

"Well if it isn't Elizabeth James you should have told me she's your new bride I practically raised her." She teased, she had a very loving smile and a gentle vioce.

"Well I wasn't expecting you to move in today I was expecting you tomorrow." He chuckled.

"I know deary but I decided to get a head start since you said you were starting a family and had a new born. New borns are a lot of work so I figured you'd need all the help you can get." She joked hugging him while mother walked over to me. She picked me up. Esters face lit up when she seen me. She walked over picking me up.

"So this is the new born but it's a golden Phoenix how?" She asked.

"I ain't got a clue all I know is when she hatched she was a golden Phoenix. Trust me I was as surprised as you. I have no clue how me of all people was able to produce such a strong royal. I'm low grade doesn't make any sense but that's life it never does. But none of that matters as long as she's happy and healthy. That's all we want for her." Mother replied, she smiled petting my head I snuggled up to her.

"It just took me by surprise I wasn't expecting that. But I'm just happy to know your in good hands and happy nothing means more to me than your happiness my darling I think of you as my own daughter. It means the world to me that your a mother your self and have your own daughter to spoil with all your love and affection." She said kissing my mother's cheek. She smiled hugging her.

"Thanks granny you don't know how much that means to me your were always more if a mother to me then my own mom was." She smiled kissing Granny's cheek. When she handed me back to my mother and walked over to daddy pushing him back.

"You go sit down before you burn the house down." She joked they laughed.

"Hey now I ain't that bad of a cook." He laughed walking over and sitting down.

"Says the man who tried cooking pasta with no water and burnt water burning a whole in a pot trying to boil it. Which by the way was haliarious even though it was my favorite." She teased they lost it.

"Gramms you promised youd never tell anyone." He blurted still laughing.

"Ya I did but she's your wife so she's going to hear it at so point." She chuckled. I love this woman I chirped in laughter.

"See even my kids laughing at me. I can't win." He said putting his head down in defeat. They laughed making me squawk in laughter even more. Mom covered her mouth trying not to laugh rubing his back.

"Don't feel bad honey I've done it before to when she was teaching me how to cook." She said, trying to keep a straight face. He looked at her.

"Your joking?" He questioned.

"No she's not joking she did it twice to two of my best pots." Granny infromed him. They started rolling in laughter so did my and my companion. He lost it he couldn't even stand up straight. Which was pretty funny. When Granny walked over with the plates and two serindges. Since I'm a Pheonix I can't drink milk so they had to make me a special formula like what an actual new hatching. I got up walking over chirping when she set down the plates.

"Oh youve got a smart one on your hands. Looks like someone knows it feeding time." She teased picking me up. I already had my beak wide open even before she brought the serenge up. She giggled placing the serenge in my mouth I gobbled it up as soon as she pressed the button making it pour into my mouth.

"Someone's got a big appitite." She laughed. As I looked around for more she walked over filling it again I squawked eagerly as she walked back over. She picked me back up pouring it into my mouth I huffed it down.

"Easy little one. Your going to choke if you eat to fast like that." She said, tapping my back burping me. She laughed when she heard me let out a large burp.

"Okay now your turn." She said putting me down my companion ran over to her she picked him up and he downed it wanting more. She chuckled filling it back up. The next couple of months were much the same my parents didn't want to take me out to much since I was so small. So the waited until I could change into my human form. So I wouldn't be as sasetible. When I was excited when they told me they were taking me to Mickles home again for a get together. They woke me up dressing me. As soon as I could shift into my human form I started wearing the pendant the king gave me. I fussed every time mom tried taking it off. Granny packed my diaper bag and put a hat on my. We packed onto the back of my daddy's dragon and took off. I squealed in delight.

"Oh you like that huh pumpkin." He chuckled. I laughed. Then we landed and got off they walked in as Granny carried me and my companion Blaze in.

"Sorry we've didn't come the last couple of times we didn't want to take Fury out till she was big enough." Daddy announced as walked in. The room was packed with some new faces and some familiar faces. Angela smiled as soon as she seen me walking over.

"Oh my goodness she's getting so big. Your going to be a heart breaker when your older aren't you beautiful." She said, scooping me up in her arms. When I noticed the newer people in the room were glaring at my parents. Especially a particular female vampire.

"So you rejected me for a servant you've got some terrible taste in women." She said, snearing at them when Hillary elbowed her.

"Brit no starting shit their kids here do you have no decentence I invited you so we could spend time together not gripe about stupid shit. My house my rules their my friends to so be nice it's not that hard." Hillary said, trying not to raise her vioce.
