Illusions Pov:

I ran through the trees.

The creature that was following had already bitten my leg.

Red crisom dripped from my leg.

It stung and hurt.

It hurt.I leant against a tree as I then heard a sound.

Catra's Pov:

I entered the forest.

"What are you doing out here, catra? Adora's right, this is crazy."I said to myself" There's no sword, you just got hit on the head a little too hard. You should just go back home and forget about all of this."

I heard moving.

I followed the sound.Towards the trees.

I stepped into the bushes.

There leaning against a tree was a demon about 16-17 years old.

Blood dripped down her leg from wounds.

"Hey are you ok?"I asked softly.

she backed away and hissed.

"Hey I'm not going to hurt you"I said.

I had brought some bandages with me.

I gently wrapped the around her leg.

"Thank you"She said smiling slightly.

"It's ok,I'm Catra and you are.?"I asked.

"Illusion"she said smiling goofily.

"Why don't you come with me Illusion it's not safe around here"I said as she gently grasped my hand.

I smiled at her but then I saw a glimpse of light.

I spotted a glowing light and approaches. Moments later

I separated the dense bushes and spotted an illuminescent sword in the clearing.

"Bow, just let me lead the way, okay?"

I heard unknown voices.

"Illusion stay close"I said to the girl.

"The light came from the edge of the forest."

A male voice said.

" Yes, you saw the light. It's this way."

The same female voice said from before.

"The trackpad says otherwise."

"It's this way--"

The owner of voices showed themselves and spotted us.

They gasped at me and Illusion.

" Horde soldier!"The female said as she spotted Illusion"and she has a hostage"

"I see her!"The male yelled.

The female made a grab for Illusion Which made me Angry as I hit her arm away.

They all yelled.

I ran towards the sword and the girl vanishes. She reappears with the sword.

"Bow, catch."She yelled.

"Illusion stay here"I told her as I hid her,The girl rolled her golden eyes but stayed hidden.

The girl tosses the sword to boy called bow.

" Give me the sword."I Growled as my tail flicked and my ears went down.

Sparkles jumps on my back. I then fling her off, then spin at weapon.

" Get off. Stand down. I don't wanna hurt you."I said.

" Since when do Horde soldiers not want to hurt anyone?"

No Pov:

Sparkles explodes a glitter bomb in catra's 's face and reaches for the sword. Catra leaps on top of her.

Bow jumps on top of the women and they tussle on the ground.catra  reaches out and touches the sword. A light emanates from the weapon.

"What?"Catra said as Sparkles appear

"Hello,Catra"

"Who are you? What's going on?"Catra asked.

"My name is Light Hope. I have been waiting a long time for you, but I could not reach you until you forged your connection with the sword."Light hope said.

"You sent the sword?"

"The sword is meant for you. Etheria has need of you,catra."Light hope said" Will you answer its call? Will you fight for the honor of Grayskull?"

"What are you talking about? What-- What is-- What's Grayskull? You're not making any sense! I don't understand!"Catra asked.

" You will."

"Wait!"

Light Hope vanishes and Catra is blown backwards.

She opens her eyes and her wrists are bound..

Catra Groaned and woke up.

She saw the girl stood behind bow and glimmer who were standing Infront of her protectively.

"Hey! She's awake."

"What happened?"Catra asked"and let Illusion go"

"Quiet, Horde spy, I ask the questions. How did you make it this far into the Whispering Woods?and why did you take this girl hostage?"glimmer interrogated.

" I just walked in. And I'm not a spy and I didn't take her hostage"Catra Growled.

"Sure, sure. You just so happened to find yourself in the Whispering Woods, like you just so happened to try and steal our sword."Glimmer said"and take this defenceless young girl hostage"

"Hey I'm not defenceless."illusion huffed"I think?"

"It's not yours. I found it first."Catra Growled.

"The Whispering Woods is under the Rebellion's protection. You were lucky to make it as far as you did. Come on, Bow. Let's get this spy back to Bright Moon where she can be interrogated properly and get this girl some medical care"glimmer said before getting excited" This is perfect. Not only do we First Ones tech for the rebellion, we've also captured a Horde spy. My mom's gonna be so impressed. Now come on, on your feet."

Timeskip

"You positive we're going the right way, Glimmer?"Bow asked.

"I know what I'm doing, Bow. Can you please just trust me for once?"Glimmer said.

"You know I always trust you, but I'm starting to get a little freaked out. I mean, I pretty much grew up in these woods and I've never even seen this part of them. I've heard stories about weird stuff out here."Bow defended.

" It's fine, okay? Just let me figure this out."Glimmer said.

" Okay! Touchy. "bow said before turning to the other two"Sorry about her. Usually she's really nice. Not much for talking, huh?"

" I prefer not to swap pleasantries with my captors."Catra Growled as Illusion smiled.

"I'm illusion nice to meet you too"She smiled.

"Fair. Suit yourself."Bow smiled and began speaking to the hyper girl.

Glimmer teleports herself and A
Catra turns to Bow.

"You know she's a princess, right? How can you follow her? Princesses are a dangerous threat to everyone on Etheria."Catra monologued.

"Is that what Hordak told you?"bow asked.

"Well I thought it was just common knowledge. They're violent instigators who don't even know how to control their powers."Catra said.

"Who's Hordak?"Illusion asked confused.

"He's the horde leader"Catra replied.

" You've never actually met a princess, have you?"Bow asked.

"Well, maybe not in person, but..."Catra Huffed.

They heard whimpering.

They run to Glimmer. She stands before the ruins of a forest dwelling. Glimmer bends to pick up a cracked drawing of a young child, holding the hands of an adult.

"What happened to this place?"Catra asked.

" Don't play dumb with me. I bet you were part of the raiding party that did this."Glimmer yelled as Illusion narrowed her eyes slightly.

"What are you talking about? The Horde didn't do this."Catra Growled.

Glimmer drags catra to a Horde robot crashed on the ground.

"Oh yeah? You're a heartless destroyer, just like all the rest of your people!!"

"I'm not a destroyer. Hordak says we're doing what's best for Etheria. We're trying to make things better. More orderly."Catra said back.

"This is what's best for Etheria? Ever since The Horde got here, they've been poisoning our land, burning our cities, destroying everything in their path. And you're a part of it! How's that for orderly?"Glimmer screamed.

Glimmer strides angrily ahead and Catra blinks.

" This doesn't make any sense. The Horde would never do something like this."Catra yelled.

" Did you really not know any of this? I mean, your army is called the Evil Horde."

"Who calls us that?"Catra asked.

"...Everybody!"bow yelled.

"The Horde rescued me when I was a baby and gave me a home."Catra said" They're my family. You-- you don't know them like I do."

" Maybe you don't know them like you think you do."

"There's something out there. Something big."Glimmer shouted.

"How big?"Illusion asked Remmbering the creature that attacked her.

The Ground Rumbled.

A giant insect-like creature pops out of the earth.

"So, pretty big then."bow yelled.

"That's the thing that attacked me"Illusion growled.

Screeching It extends six-clawed legs.

"Watch out!"bow yelled.

Glimmer leaps onto the bug's head and it tosses her backwards.catras foot gets stuck in a crack in the ground.

The beast turns to her and she tugs on her trapped foot. Bow shoots an arrow and a web covers the creature's mouth.

Glimmer throws a series of glitter bombs at the creature and it whacks her into a tree. She slumps on the ground and Bow aims an arrow.

Catra frees her foot. The beast flings Bow into a tree trunk and catra looks at the sword. Glimmer kneels and shoots glitter bombs as the beast draws near. The sword crackles with electricity in catra's hand.

"Hey, bug brain! Come on, Magic Sword. Oh, where's a blinding flash of light when you need one?"Catra screamed.

The beast charges toward her and she fumbles the sword.

catra picks it up and lifts it above her head. A flashing beam of light radiates from the blade.

"Catra. Catra. Catra."

A Baby Crying

"Will you fight for the honor of Grayskull?"

".. honor of Grayskull?"

"For the honor of Grayskull!"Catra yelled.

Glimmer and Bow shield their eyes as the light glows around them.

The beast kneels. Catra has transformed into a warrior princess with flowing long hair.
