"So.... Are you ready to fight a war?" Alex said, as we were waiting for the bus.

"No.. Not really.. I just can't believe I signed up for this..." I said, shaking my head.

I was scared.. I usually always was.. But, when we were kids, the idea of joining the Army seemed scary. Now that we are older and that there is a war going on.. It makes this even scarier. I was just trying to think why I wanted to do this again. I could just live my life in depression.. But.. Who would ever want to live their life like that.. Not me I guess...

 
I was quietly yawning waiting for the bus to arrive. I was just trying to enjoy these last moments of freedom. Trying to block out every little noise. Until I was violently shook.

 
I slipped away from my clouds and back into reality. I looked to see what was going on to see an annoyed Alex.


"Did you not hear a thing I said?" Alex said, sighing.

"Oh, no, sorry.. Can you repeat?" I said with an apologising grin.

"I was asking you if you think we will be put in the same group."

"It is very unlikely, but that sure would be lucky if we were!"

"Let's hope Lady Luck is on our side, then."

"Indeed."

We sat there in silence for a few more minutes before starting to play some games.

"I spy... something green." Alex said.

"Is it another tree, Alex" I said, yawning a bit.

"What?! No- How did you know?!" Alex said, a bit dramatically.

"Because you have been spying that same tree the past few turns," I replied snickering.

"Oh.."

The next few minutes were another few minutes of silence. We were just sitting there, doing our own thing. Before we knew it, the bus arrived.

"Are you ready?" Alex said, looking at me confidently.

"Not really..." I said, not ready to leave my life behind.

"We will be okay. Don't worry about anything." He said, smiling his goofy grin.

"Alright.." I said standing up and heading to the bus, holding up my back behind me.

I was awoken by the bus stopping. I was surprised enough that I was able to fall asleep, the bus was very noisy. I picked up my head from off of the window, and shook Alex away too. It seemed that he also fell asleep. As he woke up he squinted his eyes at me. 

"What time is it.." He asked in a sleepy tone.

"Time to go to the Army" I replied.

"Name?" Said a man, in a very harsh tone.

I gulped before talking, this guy was so scary...

"Isacc Fizalynn" I said, as he was writing in something.

"Gotcha... Tent 7" He said.

I headed over to the tent, hoping Alex would be in the same tent as me.

"Name?" The man said again in the same harsh voice.

"Alex Seavello," Alex replied plainly.

"Tent 3."

Alex looked at me then back at the man.

"Are you going to go to your tent or what, kid?"

"Are you sure this isn't a mistake?" Alex said, a bit hopeful.

"Positive, now get your ass to Tent 3." The man said, a bit irritated.

Alex looked like he was going to say something, but he shut his mouth and went to tent 3. He looked at me and waved and gave me a smile.

I sighed hoping this was going to go well. I was really scared now that I had no one to protect me... I just had to go through this alone....

I entered the tent to see two others talking to each other on the top of two bunks side by side. They stopped talking when I entered and just stared at me. 

One of them whispered to the other while maintaining eye contact with me. The other guy replied to him. 

I just blinked at them, as they stared. I was deer in headlights, unable to move, and paralyzed with fear. I took in a deep breath, but as much as I tried, I still couldn't move... 

Oh god... Alex.. I need Alex! My mind was racing, it didn't take me long to come back to myself when one of them started to speak to me.

"Hey! Dude, what is wrong with your eyes? Do you have pink eye or something?"

"N-No... I was just born with it.." I said, my voice shaking.

"N-No" The other guy mimicked, "Why did they let a scaredy cat into the Army, are they really that desperate looking for soldiers?"

"How sad..." The other guy replied.

I tried to ignore what they were saying. I walked up to one of the bunk beds across from them, and set my stuff on the lower bunk.

The boy's were snickering behind me. I tried to block them out... Sure I was a scaredy cat, but after all that bullying, I know how to fight... That is all that should matter in the end..

"Hey Pinkie, what's your name?"


"Isacc..." I replied.

"Well, Isaac... Good luck!"

"With what..?" I said, feeling a bit nervous.


"Surviving the war. You are sure going to need it."

I was quiet after that. I didn't feel like talking. I promised to come back, no doubts I wouldn't.. I already miss my mom... I hope she is doing well.

One of the guys threw something at me, but at this point I didn't care... There is no possible way this day could get any worse..


Another guy walked in, he seemed to be the same age as me. He looked at me and the others before smiling.

"Hello, I'm Caeleb! How are you?" He said in a sweet, calming tone

And that is it for this time! Sorry it took so long... I knew what to write.. I just didn't.. well.. know what to write. Do you get what i am saying? Probably not.. Oh well. I will be sure to work on this next Chapter soon. I am sure that you al are curious on who that last guy is... And.. WHY MUST EVERYONE BE SO MEAN TO MY BENE.... *hugs Benefit tightly*

Say... Bene.. In this you seem to be such a scared lil bean... and now here you are almost fearless. What happened..?
Benefit: That is a story I would rather not visit....
