Destroying eachother- Bit by Bit

"Are you alright?" She said, holding out her hand, smiling at me.

I stared at her for a moment before black.

I woke up in a kind of tree house.

"Good Good! You are awake! I thought I didn't save you in time... You lost quite a lot of blood..." She said she was at a sink, washing a cloth.

"Mm...huh?" I said as I was trying to get up, but my side hurt the second I tried to get up, and I ended up falling back onto whatever was supporting me.

She approached me and put the cloth on my arm. I gritted my teeth at the pain. "Yeah.. I wouldn't recommend getting up." I followed her orders, before I noticed my shirt was off. I wanted to make a fuss about it, but I knew it probably wouldn't be worth it. Along with the fact it will probably help my wounds if my shirt was off.

But something didn't leave my mind, that made me want to run. I had no clue who this girl was. Sure, she saved my life, but that doesn't mean I can trust her off the bat. She was a lovely woman, but I couldn't tell what she was like..... I had to focus on staying awake.

While the thoughts flashed through my mind, the woman started to speak.

"Oh my! I have completely forgotten to introduce myself! How rude of me. I am Tyche, the Greek goddess of Luck."

Greek goddess? Wasn't the Greek age years ago....? Okay... No doubt I am either hallucinating, and this is a Nazi soldier, or I am dead.

I looked at her extremely confused, and she laughed at my expression.

"So... Let me get to the point on why you are here. You caught my eye, when you were invading the intruders. Not everyone has the guts to do what you did."

I looked at her and gulped. Was she talking about the bravery I had felt before? It clearly wasn't here anymore, I could tell because I felt like a deer caught in headlights.

I tried to gather every last bit of bravery to speak, but there wasn't much.

"M-M-M-M-Ms..... Um.. T-T-Tyche. M-Might-t I ask w-what y-you mean by i-intruders...?" I could hear the shaking in my voice.

"Those German soldiers. They have invaded my camps and my forest. Sure I am the goddess of luck, but I really don't have that much power. I can make their day miserable, but that won't make them leave. I can not do anything, that is why when I saw you Americans coming, I gave you some good luck. Yet you were about to die, and I couldn't let that happen to someone with the potential of a god."

"W-w-what?! I am n-not god, M-Ms...."

"I can see your aura, and it is very strong. I can tell that you have a lot to live up to, so I will give you the luck to live."

I was so scared and confused, but she soon held her hands in front of her, and some gold light formed. It wasn't bright enough to blind, but it was still bright. Before I knew it, the light was gone.

"Try now. Try to sit up."

I tried, and I could sit up just fine. This woman was a witch- Or she really was an angel.

I had a look of shock on my face, and she laughed at my reaction.

"Come along, my little charm."

I followed her, scared of what would happen.

"I would like you to meet my husband. This is Nemesis." She introduced me to some tall guy with horns.

"He will be helping you with what I have planned."

"U-Um... Ms. I h-h-hate t-to s-s-say this.. B-b-b-but m-my friend i-is probably w-worrried a-a-about me." I said, not wanting to be here for another second.

I did not like the feel of this place.. Something was off. Nemesis gave a glare at me, and that made me even more uncomfortable.

"Oh! Of course! Silly me, you can go back to your fellow Americans, but I would like you to hear me out first."

"I-I-I am s-sorry.. But I-I really think I s-should be on my w-w-w-way"

She looked at me, sadness could be seen on her face.

"Awe... okay... Come back tomorrow. There is something I want you to do. Think of it as paying me back for saving your life."

"Okay" I said in reply.

"I will have one of my people escort you to your group." She said as she clapped her hands twice.

Someone came in and looked at me, before grabbing my hand and forcing me to come with them. They didn't talk at all while we were walking. Even more reason for me to be scared.

~-Later that Night-~

I walked upto the tent me, and a few others were staying. I sighed a sigh of relief once I saw the person who took me here leave. Just as I entered my tent,Someone grabbed my arm.

"Issac?" A familiar voice said. They sounded like they were crying earlier.

I turned to be faced by Alex, who had a tear stained face. His stomach was wrapped with bandages, though blood was already starting to leak through.

"I thought you were dead, you idiot!" He said whisper-yelling.. Tears formed in his eyes. He looked really mad at me, but before I could say anything, he hugged onto me.

"I am sorry, Issac, this was all my fault. I should have never forced you to come...."

"No, it is alright... And I am sorry about what happened earlier... I don't know what happened..."

"It is fine, just don't do it again."

I smiled, it felt safe in Alex's arms.

"We should probably go to sleep. We're lucky enough none of the patrol have seen us yet. G'night, Issac."

I frowned. I didn't want him to go. He let go of me, and walked away.

"Night....."

A/N: Hey everyone! Sorry this took me so long to write... I really need to find a schedule to write.

Also, I am happy to announce that this side story is almost over. We have either just hit the halfway point, or we hit it last time. Either way. This story is almost finished.

Anyways, I will be working on other things now.
