Hi guys ! In this chapter I'll be showing y'all how I make my sci-fi covers !
I'll be giving y'all some tips + explaining the process of me making one.

also real quick, i've updated some chapters + rearranged all of the fonts chapters so now they're all after one another at the beginning ! i hope that makes it easier to find them

first, i go to pinterest and look for pictures that match a sci-fi theme and the story line as well. for the cover i'm making, i'm just going for a neon sci fi look.

here are the pictures i'm using:

background:

to find good background pictures for sci-fi , you can search various things. adding "sci-fi" ,"fictional" and words that remind you of science fiction at the end of a search will make good pictures show up. try going for the mood of your story as well, like happy or dark. i personally chose that background picture because i have an idea of what it'll look like as the final product.

next, i add the picture of my faceclaim on top of the background. i erased the background of the picture of the girl completely and then erased the bottom of her shirt so she could blend with the background —

next, i added some picsart effects to make it a bit darker. i won't go into detail on this since ive mentioned these effects many times in previous chapters. here's what it looks like after that:

then, i add some extras. for my extras, i'm adding green light, green butterflies, green smoke and green lightning. first i search up "green light" in the picsart stickers. i chose this sticker:

i then place it on top of the faceclaim and click on the eraser at the top. then, i click on "background" —

and that erases the light that's on top of the girl. i add more of the same stickers around her body and keep repeating the erasing process to form some sort of neon shadow behind her. here's what it ends up looking like:

then butterflies, i just go to stickers again and search ups"green butterflies" and add the ones i like best around the cover. i do the same thing with the green smoke and green lighting. here's what it looks like now:

i then go to effects and go to "blur" —

then i choose the " focal zoom " effect and place it on the girl, it will make everything blurry except for her. this will give an illusion that the butterflies were flying by at the front since they will look blurry. i lower down the blur so it doesn't look too blurry, here's what it looks like —

i then add more effects to get the desired color and shade i want. i also go to brushes and add some sparkles to give more of that magic vibe to it. here's what it looks like now —

i then go to "beautify " and change her eye color to green —

then i add a glossy template on top and a few extra things and that's it for now !

after that i go to phonto, add my title, subtitle and other text. i then went back to picsart to add some stickers on top of the text and that's it ! here is the final result —
