Narrative

Apollo and dream walked out of the airport tiredly, she found where thier uber was parked, dream opened the door and slid into the the middle as she got in after him and Apollo took the widow seat then closed the door behind her.

She put her head on dream shoulder, as he drew small shapes into her lower thigh. The uber started small talk but she wasn't paying attention instead she was falling asleep.

"She your girlfriend?" The man driving the car asked dream while looking in the rear view Mirror.

"Um... It- its complicated." He explained shortly, the man pressed his lips together and nodded before glancing at the rear mirror and then back to the road.

"You can tell she really loves you. just by the way she looks at you." Thank god it was dark in the car because if not the man behind the wheel would have seen how red dreams checks were.

Shortly after that they had pulled up to the hospital, dream taped Apollos leg just hard enough for her to wake up. She looked out to the window and saw they were outside the hospital, she frowned.

As they walked into the hospital Apollos anxiety only got worse about the whole situation, as Apollo and dream walked hand in hand to the front desk, their was only one thing on apollos mind. 'Was my dad going to be here?' Not only was she scared to see him she was sacred for dream to meet him.

"Um, were here to see kate, Grace." Apollo told the lady working at the front desk, she had short light brown hair and hazel eyes. She typed on her computer for a moment before looking back up at the two again.

"And whats your relation to her?" She asked them

"Im her older sister and um," she took a pause before looking over at dream. She yet again didn't know what to call them, she cleared her thought before talking "and hes... My boyfriend."

Dreams checks flushed a pinkish red, the lady behind the desk chuckled at his embarrassment.

"Okay she is in room 407." She smiled at them, Apollo nodded, grabbed her things and her and dream walked to the elevator.

At first they stood in comfortable silence the only thing making a sound were the elevator music, and the elevator moving.

"I really hope my dad is not here." She said quietly, he gave her a weak smile and pulled her into a hug. The elevator dinged signaling they had gotten to there floor, Apollo let out a sad sigh before stepping away from dream.

TWO HOURS LATER !

"where is she? where is my daughter?" Apollo's and Kate's dad came rushing inside of the hospital. Apollo quickly stood up from the chair along with Dream who stood in front of her. "your daughter? your daughter?!" Apollo raised her voice at the male who looked wasted as hell.

"yes my daughter. you and Kate have been my daughter since you were born." The man has the audacity to call them their daughter. He calls them their daughter as if he was there for raising them, cleaning them, watching them grow up instead of being drunk or high.

"we haven't been your daughter since the day you decided to leave and drink all day and come back to the house all wasted." Apollo said feeling tears of anger start to flood.

"Apollo, move. I am looking for my daughter, Kate." Her dad said going to move past her when Dream placed a hand on his chest and pushed him back. "why don't you go and find yourself some dignity?"

The man chuckled lowly licking his lips before swinging his arm hitting Dream right in the jaw. "Clay!" Apollo rushed forward when her dad jumped right on Dream and started to punch him.

Dream defended himself by pushing and punching him back which was no use because the drunk guy was much to big and stronger for him. "Stop it!" Apollo pushed her dad away by the chest.

"you have ruined everything for me, every single little thing!" Apollo pushed him once more as security guards rushed in. "how much I admired you when I was young, I wanted to be like you. but that all changed when mom died, you become a monster. You weren't the same dad that you were before." At this point Apollo had tears rushing down her cheeks.

"I wished and wished for you to come back, even when the other lady come in your life I wished so much for that. Oh god! All I wanted was my dad back, but the more the years went on the more we were loosing you." Apollo said glaring at him with much hatred that he was able to see that.

"it's sad that Kate wasn't able to know you when you were you. That Kate wasn't able to know how much of a kind man you were, how you would teach her how to ride a bike. or take her first steps. It's such a pain to know that Kate won't be able to have those father moments with you because you are such a low life and such a piece of shit!" Apollo pushed him once more and then again and again.

Dream rushed over to Apollo and took her in his arms letting her breakdown on his chest. "shh. it's alright. I'm here."

Apollo sobbed more in his chest and feeling her legs give up she fell onto the ground and Dream still holding her on the floor. Dream kissed the top of her head before looking over at her dad who had a face of disbelief. "if you don't leave I'll call the cops, and don't test me."

The dad got off the wall and scoffed loudly. "I'll see my daughter whether you like it or not." Apollo's dad walked forward drunkly. The security guards noticed this and quickly pushed him away. "step aside, sir."

"she's my daughter!" Apollo's dad pushed back the guards. One of the security guards got a hold of the drunk man and took him somewhere else. far in the distance you can still hear his shouts.
