Illusions Pov:

Catra was sleeping at the foot of Adora's bunk in the Horde barracks.

I could hear a voice saying my name

"Illusion"

I gasped.

I jolted up and looked around. I smiled at Catra and Adora sleeping, then I gently eased myself out of bed. Catra and Adora opened Their eyes as they saw me walk away.

I exited and got surprised by my mentors.

"Where are you going?"Adora asked.

"Hey, where are you going?"Catra asked the same time as Adora.

"Back to the woods. There's something I need to figure out."I said putting my Jacket on.

"What? You're not--"I covered their mothes as a guard passed.

"What is wrong with you? You've been acting weird since we got back. Are you sure you're not brain damaged?"Catra asked.

"She's not brain damaged this all just because she's tired, illusion bed now"Adora said commandingly.

" Look guys, I know I saw something out there. It's ju- I just need to get another look. It feels important somehow."I said.

"Sounds good. Let's go."Catra said.

" No. I don't want you two getting in trouble on my behalf. Just cover for me okay? I'll be back before anyone knows I'm gone."I smiled before running.

"Illusion!"Adora whispered yelled.

Timeskip

"What are you doing out here illusion,they were right, this is crazy. There's no sword or giant blue stone, you just got hit on the head a little too hard. You should just go back home and forget about all of this."I said to myself.

I then spot a glowing light and approached it.

Moments later, I separate dense bushes and spots an illuminescent sword with the blue stone in the clearing.

But then I saw a girl with pink hair.

They gasped and I gasped

" Horde soldier!"pinky yelled.

"I see her!"arrow guy said"but isn't she a little young for a horde solider?"

"Who cares she's from the horde!"Pinky yelled as I made a run for the stone and sword.

I ran towards the sword and stone but pinky vanishes. She reappears with the sword and the blue stone.

" Bow, catch."Pinky yelled she tosses the sword to who I pressumed was bow while she held the stone.

"Give me the sword and the blue stone."I yelled.

Pinky jumped on my back. I managed to fling her off, then spin a weapon.

"Get off. Stand down. I don't wanna hurt you."I said trying to sound threating but it didn't work it sounded like how I usually sound.

Shy and weak.

" Since when do Horde soldiers not want to hurt anyone?"Pinky yelled.

Pinky explodes a glitter bomb in my face and reaches for the sword and stone.

I kept on top of her. While Bow jumps on top of me and we tussle on the ground.

I reach out and touch the sword and stone. A light emanates from the weapon.

Vision

" What?"I said as sparkles appeared around me.

" Hello, illusion"

"Who are you? What's going on?"I asked.

"My name is Light Hope. I have been waiting a long time for you, but I could not reach you until you forged your connection with the sword."This light hope said.

"You sent the sword?"I said

"The sword is meant for you. Etheria has need of you, illusion Will you answer its call? Will you fight for the honor of Grayskull?"

"What are you talking about? What-- What is-- What's Grayskull? You're not making any sense! I don't understand!"Illusion yelled.

"You will."

" Wait!"

I grunted As Light Hope vanishes and I was blown backwards.

I open my eyes to see my wrists bound.

I groaned.

"Hey! She's awake."Bow said.

"What happened?"I asked.

"Quiet, Horde spy, I ask the questions. How did you make it this far into the Whispering Woods?"pinky asked.

" I just walked in. And I'm not a spy."I said telling the truth as I held the blue stone.

"Sure, sure. You just so happened to find yourself in the Whispering Woods, like you just so happened to try and steal our sword and stone."Pinky yelled at me.

"It's not yours. I found it first."I huffed.

"The Whispering Woods is under the Rebellion's protection. You were lucky to make it as far as you did. Come on, Bow. Let's get this spy back to Bright Moon where she can be interrogated properly. This is perfect. Not only do we First Ones tech for the rebellion, we've also captured a Horde spy. My mom's gonna be so impressed. Now come on, on your feet."Pinky said.

Timeskip

No Pov:

" You positive we're going the right way, Glimmer?"Bow asked his friend

" I know what I'm doing, Bow. Can you please just trust me for once?"Glimmer said back.

"You know I always trust you, but I'm starting to get a little freaked out. I mean, I pretty much grew up in these woods and I've never even seen this part of them. I've heard stories about weird stuff out here."bow said scared.

"It's fine, okay? Just let me figure this out."glimmer said.

"Okay! Touchy. Sorry about her. Usually she's really nice. Not much for talking, huh?"Bow said smiling at the younger horde solider.

" I prefer not to swap pleasantries with my captors."illusion said trying to sound like Adora but falling.

"That was so cute but Fair. Suit yourself."bow said smiling.

Illusion starred at him.she wasn't cute,sure Catra and Adora joked about her being cute like a kitten when they were awake and everyone else was asleep,but she wasn't cute she's was a blood thirsty horde solider raised by that two best soliders.

Glimmer teleports herself and illusion turns to Bow.

"You know she's a princess, right? How can you follow her? Princesses are a dangerous threat to everyone on Etheria."Illusion said huffing as bow awwed at her little huff.

" Is that what Hordak told you?"Bow said.

"Well I thought it was just common knowledge. They're violent instigators who don't even know how to control their powers."Illusion said"I know how to control mine because I was trained by one of the best horde soliders"

"You've never actually met a princess, have you?"Bow Giggled.

" Well, maybe not in person, but..."Illusion huffed in annoyance.

Glimmer then whimpered.

They run to Glimmer. She stands before the ruins of a forest dwelling. Glimmer bends to pick up a cracked drawing of a young child, holding the hands of an adult.

"What happened to this place?"Illusion asked sadly.

"Don't play dumb with me. I bet you were part of the raiding party that did this."Glimmer yelled.

" What are you talking about? The Horde didn't do this."illusion said.

Glimmer drags illusion to a Horde robot crashed on the ground.

"Oh yeah? You're a heartless destroyer, just like all the rest of your people."Glimmer yelled at the demon who Whimpered.

" I'm not a destroyer. Hordak says we're doing what's best for Etheria. We're trying to make things better. More orderly."Illusion said scared as she held the blue stone closer to her chest.

"This is what's best for Etheria? Ever since The Horde got here, they've been poisoning our land, burning our cities, destroying everything in their path. And you're a part of it! How's that for orderly?"glimmer yelled as Illusion looked down.

" This doesn't make any sense. The Horde would never do something like this."Illusion said.

" Did you really not know any of this? I mean, your army is called the Evil Horde."bow said.

" Who calls us that?"Illusion asked confused.

" ...Everybody!"bow answered.

"The Horde rescued me when I was a baby and gave me a home. They're my family. You-- you don't know them like I do and Adora and Catra mentored and raised me,they told me we're doing this for the best of Etheria"Illusion said scared and confused as she held the blue stonem

"Maybe you don't know them like you think you do."Bow said feeling bad for the demon.

"There's something out there. Something big."Glimmer yelled.

"How big?"bow asked

The Ground Rumbling as A giant insect-like creature pops out of the earth.

"So, pretty big then."Bow gulped.

Illusion held the blue stone,she had to protect it.

The bug screeched as It extends six-clawed legs.

"Watch out!"bow yelled.

Glimmer leaps onto the bug's head and it tosses her backwards. Illusions foot gets stuck in a crack in the ground.

The beast turns to her and she tugs on her trapped foot. Bow shoots an arrow and a web covers the creature's mouth.

There was grunting and Shouting

Glimmer throws a series of glitter bombs at the creature and it whacks her into a tree. She slumps on the ground and Bow aims an arrow.

Illusion frees her foot. The beast flings Bow into a tree trunk and illusion looks at the sword.

Glimmer kneels and shoots glitter bombs as the beast draws near.

The sword crackles with electricity in Illusions hand.

"Hey, bug brain! Come on, Magic Sword. Oh, where's a blinding flash of light when you need one? "Illusion said before Screaming as The beast charges toward her and she fumbles the sword. Illusion picks it up and lifts it above her head.

A flashing beam of light radiates from the blade.

"Illusion, illusion, illusion"

There was Baby Crying.

That bird like flying figure again.

"Will you fight for the honor of Grayskull?"

".. honor of Grayskull?"

" For the honor of Grayskull!"illusion yelled holding the sword.

Glimmer and Bow shield their eyes as the light glows around them.

The beast kneels. Illusion ha transformed into a warrior princess with flowing long hair.
