Months had passed since Leora and Laurel Lance had made the move to Gotham City. The Green Starling had been busier than ever with Gotham's high crime rate, and it was becoming harder and harder to conceal and explain to Jacque why Leora had so many bruises across her skin. At one point, the teenage boy even joked: "It'd be amazing if you were the Green Starling or something." Which was then followed by Leora giving him an awkward laugh and telling him she didn't have the stamina to take out bad guys for a living. Jacque agreed until he remembered one physical education class the two shared a week prior.

Both Leora Lance and Dick Grayson had been given strict instructions from their parental figures to not be a show off in their physical education class, so that none of the students would catch onto them being the Green Starling and Robin. So as their class were split into two for a round of dodgeball, Leora sulked as she stood at the back corner of her side. Dick was placed in the opposing team and did the same and Jacque was put in Leora's team.

The game started and it took everything in Leora to not retaliate when a ball came her way or as she watched her team slowly die off. She got out on multiple occasions and was put back in the game as well. The game continued to go on until only a couple of people were left standing on both sides, including Leora and Dick. No one seemed to aim at Leora, and only a few moments later, everyone besides Leora were left standing on her team with the opposing team still having six people on their team.

"Come on, Leora! You can do this!" Jacque called out on the side, and then her whole team began to yell out the same thing.

Leora looked across the court at Dick and the two made eye contact. Dick understood the look she was giving him and he slowly shook his head in response, but it was too late. Leora threw the ball in her hands as hard as she could towards a man, and it slammed into his stomach and made him fall onto the ground as the wind got knocked out of him. Someone else picked up the ball and threw it in Leora's direction and she easily dodged it before collecting another ball and throwing it at another student. It didn't take long until it was just Leora Lance and Dick Grayson remaining, and the two stood in the middle of their sections and prepared themselves.

Leora smirked at him as Dick played with the ball in his hands. "You better back down now, Grayson. You know I always win," Leora called out to him.

Dick narrowed his eyes, then threw the ball. Leora simply bent backwards and watched as the ball flew over her body. She collected another ball and threw it in Dick's direction, and he easily turned his body away from it. When he threw the next ball, Leora easily caught it before pelting it in his direction and smashing the ball into his stomach, making Dick tumble backwards and land on his ass.

Leora grinned when she heard him groan but was then suddenly surrounded by her teammates telling her how amazing she was and asking where she learnt how to move the way she did. Leora looked over in Dick's direction and noticed how he had stood up and was being suffocated by Rebecca making sure he was okay. When Dick's gaze met Leora's, the girl grinned and mouthed, 'Pinned ya.'

Leora and Dick made their way out of school. The two had been arguing for the past few minutes over what occurred while going up against each other in dodgeball. For as long as Leora had known him, Dick had always been a sore loser, and that was shown a lot when the two were around each other. Leora always beat Dick at combat, and she always beat him when they played video games. The only time Dick ever beat Leora was when it had something to do with acrobatics, and that was solely because of his upbringing as a gymnast.

"You didn't have to show me up like that," Dick sourly said, a look of distaste on his face.

Leora snickered. "I'm sorry, Mr. Popular."

"And you shouldn't have used your strength," Dick pointed out.

"Either I lose or I win and we both know that I don't lose," she said.

"Fair."

"And besides," Leora began, a small but fake smile appearing on her lips, "I'm sure your lovely Rebecca made sure you were fine."

Dick grinned at that. "She will tonight."

They both paused when they noticed a familiar person standing outside of a black car with tinted windows. "Alfred?"

The older man smiled kindly. "Good afternoon, Miss Lance, Master Grayson. I've come to take you both to the manor."

Alfred opened the back door for the two and the two teenagers began to walk over to him. "Oh, great," Dick grumbled, his nights plans with Rebecca out of the window.

"Be nice," Leora shoved him with a grin. "You know you love spending time with me."

Alfred rounded the corner, driving through the gates and up to the Wayne Manor. Leora squinted her eyes as they neared and noticed several cars parked out the front. "Is that Oliver's car?" Leora asked aloud.

"Yeah, and Diana's," Dick commented.

Leora let out a loud sigh as she undid her seatbelt. "Justice League meeting. Great."

Leora and Dick followed after Alfred as the older man lead the two through the grande doors and into the main foyer. Before either of the three could say anything, in a gust of wind, a man appeared in front of them.

"Hey, my dudes!" Wally chirped with a bright smile. Alfred clasped his hands and walked out of the room and towards the dining room where the Justice League meeting was taking place.

"Hey, Wally! It's been a while," Leora smiled as she pulled Wally in for a hug.

"Sure has, Leo. How're you doing, Dick?" He asked.

"I'm good, Wally," Dick smiled softly.

Someone else rounded the corner and Leora suddenly got nervous at the sight of the dark-skinned teenager. "Hi, Leora," Roy said warmly.

Leora pulled on a tight smile. "Hi, Roy. How have you been?"

He shrugged. "Alright. Star City is shit without you."

Leora lightly laughed. "You're being too nice, I'm sure it isn't."

Roy's dark eyes moved over to Dick. "Grayson, how're you doing man?"

Dick nodded but a smile did not appear on his face. "I'm good, Harper."

"Rora!" A feminine voice called out, and Donna and Garth walked up to the group. "Finally, you're here. I've been surrounded by three idiots for the last few hours."

Garth scoffed with a small smile. "Who're you calling an idiot?"

"You say that as if I haven't just spent the last several hours at school surrounded by the biggest idiots in Gotham," Leora said with a light laugh.

Donna hummed. "Fair point."

"Aurora kicked my ass at dodge ball today" Dick told the group and crossed his arms across his chest.

"Fuck yeah! Good job!" Wally threw his hand up and Leora slapped her against his with a grin.

"Thanks!"

Donna rose an eyebrow. "Aren't you supposed to not show your abilities at school?"

"Well...yeah," Leora said slowly, "but my team was losing and I was the only one left up against, like, five guys including Dick."

"Aurora and I were the only ones remaining, and we all know how competitive she gets," he turned to her and playfully narrowed his eyes.

Leora looked at Dick and grinned. "I knocked the shit out of Dick."

Dick chuckled lightly. "Okay, I wouldn't go that far."

A blonde-haired woman rounded the corner and a small smile made its way into Leora's face. "Leora, honey. How was school?" Laurel Lance asked her daughter.

"Good, mom." Leora elbowed Dick's gut when he opened his mouth to tell her what happened during their physical education class.

Laurel looked between all of the teenagers and then looked back at her daughter. "We're going to be stuck here for a little while, so, you guys go up and relax in Dick's room for the time being. We'll call you down if we need you."

Donna smiled. "Sure thing, Ms. Lance."

Laurel turned back around and walked out of the room. There was a brief silence. "They're not going to call us down," Garth said.

Roy shook his head. "Nope. You guys up to get drunk in Grayson's room?"

Dick grinned. "Fuck yeah. Beat you there."

Wally laughed. "Nice try, losers." All four of the boys ran up the stairs with Wally clearly making it to Dick's room before the other three had even started running.

Donna shook her head. "Children. We're friends with children."

Leora rolled her eyes as the two began to walk towards the staircase. "Please don't remind me. But these guys are way better than the people at school."

"Surely they're not that bad," Donna said.

"I have one friend besides Dick, and I barely see him because I stay far away from his friends," Leora told her.

"Why?"

"They're all rude as hell, especially the girls. They hate how close Dick and I are," Leora replied. "When you posted that photo of us on Facebook after Bruce's gala a few months ago, Dick's lovely lady friend saw it and basically spat on me when we went to school a few days later."

"Catwoman's daughter?" Donna asked and then scoffed. "She has nothing on you, Rora. You're the fucking Green Starling. You're badass as hell and a sexy piece of work. I don't care how intimate her and Dick are, he will always like you more."

Wally appeared in front of the girls in a gust of wind. "Dudes, hurry up! Dick, Roy and Garth are already trying to see who can down the most vodka shots without vomiting."

Leora chuckled. "Dick's going to lose that after the fifth shot."

"He's too stupid to realise that," Donna commented and the two girls hurried after Wally who had already left them behind.
