I cried till I fell asleep leaning against the front door. When I woke up I heard someone knocking on the door I had made of ice and snow. I stood up wiping tear stains off my face. When I finished I opened the door to see Natsu, Lucy, Gajeel, Levy, Erza, Sting, Rogue, Gray, and the exceeds standing there.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them.
"You rushed out of the guild so fast like something was wrong so we fallowed you here." Levy began.
"When we heard you crying and saying stuff we never thought we'd hear from you again." Rogue continued.
"We came back later but you didn't answer so we are here now." Lucy finished while everyone else nodded.
"Thanks but you didn't need to do that." I said with no emotion showing.
"Of corse we did you are part of the guild now." Natsu said.
"And I am happy that I am but I just.....hm...." I muttered trying to close the door but Erza and Gajeel where holding it open.
"Tell us what happened." Erza said sternly.
"Why don't you ask them instead." I snapped pointing to the dragons that where looking down. "They may be able to tell you more then I'll be able to I'm not sure if it's true my self."
"We were afraid this would happen..." Natsu muttered.
"What would happen?" Erza and I snapped making the dragons stiffen. I let them in so they wouldn't be standing out side.
"Yuki-onna told us what she did to you to protect you from him. She said that you may never remember us, what happened to your father, or that your a dragon like us but with a special quality that we don't have anymore." Sting said looking away from me.
"And what is that?" I questioned.
"The ability to change back and forth between dragon and human." Rogue said flinching under my glare as well as the other dragons.
"How do you know this?" Levy and Erza asked.
"We where told by Yuki-onna." They said.
"How long have you.....known?" I asked.
"Since the day your father was.....for a long time." Natsu said getting elbowed by Rogue. I stood there remembering my past when I was young playing with Rogue, Sting, Natsu, and Gajeel on the slopes of Mount Hkoba.
"I...I....." I stuttered sitting down. I was remembering it all the fun I had playing with them, what it felt like to fly, the color of my fur, the way my wings looked, the two long strands of hair on my back. All of it, I even remember how to use that ability of mine.
"Eve?" Lucy asked suddenly stopping the flow of memories.
"Huh?" I asked still lost in my new found memories.
"You where quite for a long time are you okay?"
"Ya just remembering." I said with a small smile. Sting, Rogue, Gajeel, Levy, and their exceeds left.
"Good glad to have my old friend back." Natsu said with a smile.
"Good to be back Pyro." I smirked as Gray, Lucy, Erza, Happy, and Natsu laughed.
"Don't we have a job to do?" Lucy asked once the laughing died down.
"Ya we do want to come Eve and get use to flying again?" Natsu asked jumping up.
"Sure what's the job?" I asked standing up.
"Stopping some bandits that have been robbing travelers." Erza said.
"Ok how do we get there." I asked.
"We can't use the door so we are gonna have to fly to the wagon." Lucy said going over to Natsu.
"Ok but only three of us have wings." I pointed out.
"Yep I'm taking Luce. Happy's taking Gray. So that means you get Erza." Natsu said picking Lucy up bride-style.
"Ok one question how do I make just my wings appear?" I asked Natsu.
"We'll work on that later just turn into the frost white dragon I know you are." Natsu said making his pinkish red wings appear on his back. I looked over at Gray and Happy to see Happy getting ready to lift Gray up.
"Ok I haven't done this in a long time." I muttered changing. Fur grew and replaced my clothes my hair retreated, my ears moved to the top of my head so they looked like wolf ears. A tail grew from the end of my tail bone my legs turned into hind legs that of a wolf, my nose and mouth turned into a snout. Bird like wings sprouted from my back the ends of the wings where clear except for black circles that look like eyes. I pretty much looked like a white wolf with white bird wings. *see picture*
"Wow so that's how you look as a dragon." Everyone but Natsu said shocked.
"Yes. Erza no armor please." I said trying to pick her up but I couldn't get a grip with my teeth.
"Sure." She said requiping out of her armor. I picked her up easily once everyone was ready we headed off to our job. We flew over the barrier and through the forest to a wagon the guild used for certain jobs. We landed and I changed back. Erza handed me a black traveling cloak and my sword.
"So what is the plan?" I asked putting my sword on my belt and the cloak on.
"Well Erza and Lucy will be upfront driving while You, Gray and I wait in the back. After we stop and Erza says "The goods we have won't be to your liking." We jump out and take them down. It won't matter where you jump out from front or back they'll surround us. And to answer your next question I stocked a traveler to see what the thugs with do." Natsu said leaving all of us speachless mostly me, because I knew the cute, direct, young fire dragon he was back when we were older then hatchlings.
"Are you even the same dragon I knew back then?" I asked as he pouted.
"Yes Snowflake I'm the same dragon." He responded with a poker face.
"Yes you are Pyro." I smerked. Lucy and Gray snickered while Erza was holding hers back.
"Now let's get going." Erza said sternly stopping the snickering fit the five of us where having.
"H-a-i!" We said still laughing. Once that had died down we got into the covered wagon and set out.
