i was meant to do this before 2017 ended but when have i ever done anything when i'm supposed to??

this is just meant to be a look back at all the things i managed to achieve last year. i'll start big to give the illusion i actually accomplished a lot. so..

- i graduated uni (thank the heavens because i started to contemplate the pros and cons of being a dropout midsemester, lmao my friends even jokingly suggested getting ourselves sugar daddies and mummies but i don't got no sugar to give thanks)

- i made it into law school where another year of my life would be sucked into yet another black hole

- i hit the ten year milestone with my best friend. how he's been able to stand me for an entire decade, i'll never know

- i hit one year of friendship with my second best friend, the sweetest little bean who always understands me

- i finished five stories (technically six if counting fruit loop on my other account) they're all short stories but it's a big deal for me

- my stories hitting reads in the hundreds surprised me but thousands still has me shook

- one of my stories (jealous) hitting 85k reads and 3.9k votes like wow

- making beautiful friends on here

- making this book because i'm weird about talking about myself

wow is that really all i accomplished? where is the "climbed mount everest with a chimp on my back," the "went on trip to hawaii with my friends," the "delved into my soul and psyche to discover myself," the "had chocolate from the chocolate shop in the movie chocolat"? i need to take my life more seriously.

but on a side note which has nothing to do with this and is just me shamelessly promoting, i decided to publish my poetry on here, it's called champagne. and if you like short poetry you can check it out.
