Intro 1

A young teen stared at his reflection with a small smile. He was mumbling comforting words to himself, like you can do this and everything will be alright. You know.. stuff like that. The male sighs lightly, his smile not leaving his face.

This teen looks pretty normal. Curly brown hair, a sky blue sweater, dark blueish-black pants, and black shoes. The only thing that yelled different about him, was his eyes..

A bright, cheerful yellow.

Not normal, that's for sure... but the teen didn't let himself down just because his eyes were different.

"JAAAYYY!! BREAKFAST IS READY!!" A loud, but cheerful voice sounded from downstairs.

Jay looked in the direction of his bedroom door, his smile widening slightly. "Coming mom!" He yelled back.

In one swift motion, Jay spun around, grabbed his sky patterned bookbag, and headed for the door. He's been preparing for this day for the whole summer.

Sure, you can say that it was only his third year of high school. That he didn't really need to prepare so far in advance.
But you don't know everything, do you?

Every year, the school had new kids coming in, older kids leaving, or even transfer kids!
Jay had to prepare for how the kids acted, and be thankful that some of the older ones left.

Jay rushed downstairs, his bright smile seeming to never leave his face. He walked up to the table, setting his bag down next to his chair, and sat down.
His mother, a cheerful lady with light brown curly hair and bright, brown
eyes that shone gold in the sun, was just setting down her son's breakfast when he had come racing down the stairs. "Now honey, what have I told you about doing that? You're going to hurt yourself!"

Jay looked down slightly, his smile faltering only a bit. "S-sorry mom.." He said quietly. His mother looked at him with a soft gaze. "It's alright hun. I know you're ecstatic for your first day of your..." She trails off, trying to remember what year he was in. "Third year." Jay said. He was used to his mother forgetting things.

His mother looked at him with a large smile. "Third year!! Oh honey I'm so proud!" Jay looked at her with his signature smile, his yellow eyes shining a bit in the light.

After a bit of smalltalk and Jay basically shoveling food down his throat, it was time to go.

Jay jumped up and grabbed his bookbag, rushing towards the door. "Goodbye mom! I love you!" He yelled.
"Goodbye hun! Good luck at school!" She called back.

As Jay rushed towards the bus stop, his mother watched him with a loving gaze, yet a little worry worked its way into her eyes. "...please be safe, my little sunshine..."
