Ch. 1
It was a relatively normal day for Jay. Nothing interesting had happened.. unless you count being reunited with a friend that left for the entire summer.
"JAAAYYY!!" A loud voice rang above all the others. Jay sunk only a little, mainly out of embarrassment, but stood up straight and smiled when he saw his beloved friend, Sylvia.
Sylvia was the complete opposite of a normal person. Shiny silver hair with the ends dyed a light blue, shimmering honey eyes that could melt anyone's heart. She had a strange obsession with occult and the supernatural, which dubbed her as the "Ghost Girl" by many of the students.
Jay rushed towards his friend and enveloped her in a bear hug. "Oh my god Syl!! It's been forever!!" Jay said, a smile taking up most of his face. Sylvia just giggled and nodded. "It has! How was your summer??" Jay sighed lightly. "Uneventful. Uncle Barry came over for a week and that was torture. He doesn't talk about anything but old cartoons and stuff like that! He smelt like ink.."
Sylvia gave Jay an apologetic look. "Sorry I had to leave yah for so long. You know how my family is..." She groaned slightly. "My cousins never shut up, I swear to you." Jay patted her on the back before laughing lightly. "Ssooo... What classes did you get??" He questioned, his golden eyes shining with excitement.
Sylvia pulled out her schedule and Jay did the same. "Aw man," Sylvia groaned, "I have Mr. Rossbeary again..." Jay sucked in some air, giving Sylvia a pitiful look. "Sorry Syl..." Jay looked from his schedule to Sylvia's, trying to find if they have any classes together.
Jay perked up when he saw-- "OMG. Look guys! The weirdos have reunited!!" A familiar voice cut through Jay's thoughts... oh no...
Silky black hair flowed as she walked towards the two friends. Sylvia looked up to match her icy blue glare. "Piss off, Catherine. Go back to fucking Dimitri." She hissed.
Catherine just smirked and shifted her weight to one foot, her cronies doing the same.
There was Jasmine Carthoone, a petite girl with dark skin and even darker hair and eyes. Liza Boker, with her peach skin, emerald green eyes and chestnut hair. Emmiline Tarth, pale skin, dark blond hair and silvery-blue eyes. And Cathrine Hawkinson, the principles daughter. Her black hair and icy blue eyes are recognizable.
Jay glared at the group. The only people he ever hated. The only group that Sylvia would curse at. Cathrine and her cronies kept giggling at Sylvia, who was spitting curses at them, in full on rage mode.
Jay mumbled something under his breath, which somehow caught the attention of Cathrine. "What did you say, brat?" She hissed. Sylvia paused in her cursing to look at Jay, confused.
Jay looked up at Cathrine, matching her cold gaze. "I said you need to stop. I want to try and get along this year. No fights. No teasing. Nothing." It wasn't exactly what he had mumbled but he'd rather not repeat it out loud.
Cathrine and her cronies smirked. Jasmine and Emmiline opened their mouths to say something but Cathrine cut them off with a wave of her hand. "Suurree. We can get along. Won't we girls?" She looks back at the others and they nod silently. Liza looked a little frightened...
So the two groups parted ways. One sauntering off to go terrorize someone else while the other just goes back to looking at their schedules...
Yep... just another year at high school...
