Reuniting... (Chapter 11)
Hey guys! Sorry it's been awhile, but here's Pidge! Anyway thanks for reading, please comment, and hope you enjoy!

Pidge's POV:
They didn't let us out the next day. It wasn't our fault!! We fought in self-defense! Although, we did break a few bones...
But still, it's not like we killed anyone, well, yet!
We at least convinced them to give us adjacent cells, that way I could stay close to Matt and keep him from panicking. After all that time being in the hands of the Galra...
It sent a shiver down my spine just thinking about it. And my dad could still be out there, though Matt told me he thought otherwise.
But that didn't matter now. We had to get out of here. I told Matt through the wall.
"I doubt anybody here will be very cooperative after we busted lips, broke arms, and gave many bruises and black eyes," he replied back, his voice muffled but still recognizable.
"It's not like that was out fault though," I growled.
"Anyway, do you know what's happening to the others? What about your lion?"
Green! "I'd totally forgotten about that with the fight! Keith had a strong connection to his lion, maybe I could do the same with Green!"
I closed my eyes, focusing. My mind kept drifting back to my family. My brother here with me, my mother who might've thought that we were monsters. And my dad, who was still missing, or worse...
"Pidge...?" Matt prompted. "You okay?"
I hadn't even realized I was crying, yet the tears fell, dampening my pants in tiny droplets.
"I just want to be together again," I whispered. Matt was silent. I wasn't sure if he had heard me or not. "I want to be safe and with our parents again, together."
It was silent for well over a minute, before he finally responded. "Katie, if you want us all to be together, then we have to get out of here. You have to contact the Lion--"
We both quieted as guards' tromping footsteps approached. I quickly squeezed my eyes shut, putting all that I had into picturing my times with Green and forming Voltron.
I wasn't sure what I felt, but it was like when we discovered Green's abilities with my bastard. It was Green.
Green, I need you. Please, we have to get out, so we can both be with our families again...
Green's roar filled my brain giving me a split second headache before subsiding. Was it my imagination, or did Green sound, well... like she was in pain?
I didn't have time to ponder it or tell Matt before the guards came and opened my cell door.
"Come on out, Holts," he ordered in his gruff voice. "You two have a visitor."
Matt and I shared a look as we were forced down the corridors. We came into a room I had yet to see, but I knew from television shows. There was a row of seats, separated by a thick window, with a phone hanging on each side of the glass at each designated spot.
The guards shoved us over to one, and as I picked up the phone, I sensed the tears brimming in both our eyes.
"Katie, Matt," our mother cried on the other side of the glass.
That tore me apart.
I leapt towards her, before Matt grabbed my shoulder and kept me from ramming into the glass.
"Why are you both in there?!" She demanded desperately. "I want my babies back! What have been doing--"
"We've been being heroes, Mom!" I yelled back. "We've been risking our lives, fighting bloodthirsty aliens to save Earth, to save galaxies, to save the entire universe!"
Matt put a hand on my shoulder, and I wiped the tears away. Mymom only watched in quiet confusion. "Is it too much to ask to not be seen as some monster?"
"I'm... sorry..." she muttered. "Matt?" He looked at her. "W--Where's your father?"
We both froze, and averted our gazes before he ear splitting intercom blared to life. "All prisoners return to their cells."
The guards hauled us away from the phone, but I heard my mother screaming through the glass. "Where's my husband?! Where's Sam?! Why can't I have my family back?!"
Matt and I struggled against the guards to get to her before the door slammed shut and we lost sight of her.
