For someone who can breathe and swim underwater without problem, you'd think that being pulled under the waves by another giant monster wouldn't be all that scary.

Wrong.

Yes, I feel dominant in the seas, but it's not very often that I have to fight someone that can actually move in the water as well as I can. With Ghidorah, for instance, he can't swim, so fighting him underwater was easy. This thing, however, it twisted and curled like a wet noodle and slipped its way through every attack I swung it's way.

I need to get him off of me long enough so I can see who it is, I thought. If I know who it is, it'll be easier to fight them.

I try to kick the attacker off of me, but he was still able to evade it. Not that even one of my powerful kicks would work underwater.

Then, I used the one thing I knew would be the most powerful underwater.

I charged up my atomic breath, opened my mouth, and fired.

A stream of bubbles and hot water came out of my mouth, but the blast was powerful to send both me and my attacker hurling away from each other. I shook my head, and got a good look at my opponent.

"Kraken?" I said. "What are you doing?"

"What do you mean?" He said in a rash tone. Kraken was one of the younger titans, and often disobeyed authority when he didn't like what they were telling him to do.

"I'm your alpha, genius!" I yelled at him, as he swam full speed at me. I put two claws on both sides of his head to hold him in place.

"You'll never be my alpha!" Kraken said. "You never let us do anything fun! When Ghidorah was around-"

I cut him off by surfacing above the waves.

"YOU DARE SAY THAT NAME IN MY PRESENCE!" I roared at him, and hurled him into the sky. He plummeted back down to the ocean, but once back in the water, he was still eager to fight.

God damn, he's like Rodan, but younger and worse. I thought bitterly.

Suddenly, a flurry of objects flew through the air, and hit Kraken in the side, startling him. We both surfaced, and saw a fleet of the human's little floaty machines, firing their exploding projectiles at Kraken.

Finally, the humans realize I'm not the target. I thought. Way to go guys!

With Kraken distracted by the humans, I remembered my original objective. Find the island, figure out where you are. Remembering where I sensed the island to be, I turned and swam full speed towards it. I was almost there, when suddenly I was hit from behind by what seemed like a brick wall, which sent me spinning through the water, and then I crashed onto the shore.

The smell of wet sand and salt water filled my nose as I turned to look as the island.

It was beautiful, covered in rocky formations, palm trees, and various birds flew about.

Then, a splash in the water behind me told me my opponent wasn't gone yet. I whipped around to see Kraken in the water, waving his tentacles furiously at me.

"You haven't won yet, Godzilla!" He yelled. "One day! One day you will be challenged by someone bigger and stronger than you! Then, it'll be all o-"

He was cut off by a massive boulder that hit him square in the face, knocking him unconscious. As he and the boulder slowly sunk beneath the waves, I turned around to look and see who threw the boulder.

In front of me, was the biggest hairy thing I've ever seen.

"Hey." It said. "I'm Kong."
