As we ran towards the osprey, and away from Monster Zero, he let out a cackling shriek that chilled me to my heart's core.

SHREEEE-HEEEE!

"Fall back!" Foster yelled. "Get to the osprey!"

Monster Zero began climbing out of the pit, in the process plowing through a huge portion of the ground, sending icy rubble flying through the air, some of which landed on groups of soldiers, killing them.

A small portion of the soldiers stopped running to fire on Monster Zero as we boarded the osprey. Inside was doctor Serizawa, and my old mentor, doctor Graham. "Miss Graham!" I exclaimed. "Kaito!" She said, and we quickly embraced in a formal hug. "I wish I wasn't seeing you in these conditions, but I am happy to see you." I said to her. "As am I." she responded.

Suddenly, he reared back and his necks began to glow with a bright golden color, before he let out a piercing KRIEEK! and fired solid beams of electricity out of his mouths, obliterating the soldiers.

Then, he turned on us.

"Shit!" Barnes yelled. "Griffin! Get this thing in the air!"

"I can't!" the pilot, Griffin, responded. "That thing sent out some kind of electrical pulse when it shot the lightning out of its mouth! All hydraulic and motor systems are unresponsive!"

"Try to contact HQ! Tell them we need backup!" Foster ordered.

"Contacting the Argo now!" Griffin confirmed.

"You better hurry!" I said. "Look!" I pointed out the cockpit window, where Monster Zero was approaching us, all three of his heads poised to attack.

"Argo! this is osprey one-two-six! All systems are down, and we need immediate backup!" Griffin spoke through the intercom.

"Copy that, osprey one-two-six. Sending Argo with backup raptors to your location now."

"Better hurry! We've got one tough bogey on our backs!"

As she said that, Monster Zero's right head plowed itself into the osprey, shaking the entire craft. One by one, all of it's heads slammed into the osprey, pummeling it. "Hull integrity at 60 percent!" the copilot exclaimed. "We're not gonna make it!"

suddenly, Monster Zero stopped, and turned to look in a different direction. We followed his gaze, and saw a blue glow coming from one part of the ice. Then, it collapsed, and slowly, the recognizable blue glow of dorsal plates rose out of the water, followed by a scaly head, neck with gills, and then the rest of it's body.

"Is that...?" Mark Russell asked.

"Yes." Serizawa replied. "Gojira is here."

Godzilla slowly climbed out of the ice, and growled at Monster Zero, who rattled his tail and let out a SHREEEEK! in response. Godzilla snorted, and Monster Zero unfolded his wings, and spread them out in a threatening way. The two of them stared at each other, until they finally made their moves.

SKREEEEONGK! Godzilla thundered.

SHEEEE-HREEEEEREE! Monster Zero shrieked. 

Then, they charged each other.

"Everyone hang on!" Griffin shouted, and Godzilla's foot brushed past, sending the osprey skidding across the ground. Then, the two colossal beasts clashed, Godzilla made the first mode, catching his claws on Monster Zero's middle neck, then aggressively biting it, digging his teeth into Monster Zero's flesh. 

Monster Zero's right head responded, biting Godzilla's shoulder in defense, while Monster Zero's right head looked on, confused. Godzilla released the middle head from his jaws, only to swipe a hand into the neck, before slamming it to the ground.

"The osprey's dead, let's get outta here!" Griffin yelled, as we all piled out the boarding ramp.

Mustering all his strength, Monster Zero forced himself up, and slammed all three heads into Godzilla's chest, sending him falling to the ground. Godzilla leaned up, and let out an angered SKREEE-NNNNNONGK! in response.

we kept running as Godzilla got back up, and groaned Monster Zero once more slammed his right head into Godzilla's neck. Godzilla slammed his tail down to the ground.

Then, I heard the telltale humming sound as Godzilla's dorsal plates began to light up from the tip of his tail, slowly making its way up to his head, before he unleashed a beam of atomic breath out of his mouth.

"Awesome!" I exclaimed.

Unfortunately, Monster Zero simply moved out of the way, and retaliated with his lightning beams from his mouth, which hit Godzilla square in the chest, and as he fell down, his atomic breath struck the area around us, going in random directions as Godzilla fell.

"Not awesome!" I exclaimed.

"Come on, Kaito!" Graham shouted, motioning for me to follow her.

Godzilla fell into the pit Monster Zero had came out of, letting out a SKREEEEEE- as he fell.

Then, Monster Zero came out of nowhere, and-

and bit down on where Graham was once standing.

"MISS GRAHAM!" I shouted.
