A hooded figure was walking through the city of Vale, he had on blue jeans, a black sweatshirt, a beard no longer than a few centimeters and his hair was a little long, about three inches on his head and he had a cowlick in the front. He had on white sneakers and a shark tooth necklace. His name is Ben Davis, eighteen years old, never really expresses any emotion.
He walked to the beach and stood as the sun began to set, the reflection glistening off the ocean as the sky became a peach color. The light shined on Ben as he sighed and continued to walk along the beach. He felt his scroll vibrate in his pocket and he picked it up, it was Ruby.
Ben: hello?
Ruby: hey Ben where are you? Weiss and Yang are about to fight.
Ben: I'm on the beach, Like always Ruby.
Ruby: come on back to Beacon, Weiss will be heartbroken.
Ben: how will that happen?
Ruby: I mean you two used to date, I think she would be happy to see that you still care.
Ben: fine, I'm on my way.
He hung up and started to walk back to the streets, being watched by hooded figures in hiding.
?????: is he the one?
?????: nope, too unemotional, he isn't pure, we have to keep looking.
The hooded figures disappeared with the wind. Ben continued walking down the streets, feeling the wind hitting his face. He heard the sound sound of gunshots in the distance and sighed.
Ben: that's Yang alright.
Meanwhile
Ruby kept her eye out for Ben, still waiting.
Blake: take it easy Ruby, he'll be here, he always does.
Ruby: alright....
In the back of the stands were the hooded men, watching all the students.
?????: what about her?
They looked at Ruby.
?????: too young and too immature, how about we try looking for a Faunus.
?????: found one.
They looked at Blake.
?????: possibly, we will keep looking.
?????: we must hurry, the black moon will be upon us within a few nights.
?????: I know....our leader needs a proper person to carry out the job to call our Gods.
Ben finally entered the arena and sat next to Ruby.
Ben: what did I miss?
Blake: Yang losing it.
Ben: so not much.
Ruby: I'm glad you made it.
Ben: let's get this done.
The fight continued on, Ben then felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see the jolly rabbit Faunus Velvet.
Velvet: hey Ben.
Ben: how are you doing Velvet?
Velvet: today has just been a good day.
Ben: I'm glad to hear that.
Announcer: and Weiss Schnee is out.
Ben: well that was quick.
Velvet: is it true you two used to date?
Ben: please don't let me be known just for that.
He got up and started walking.
Ruby: where are you going?
Ben: I'm leaving, I'm going to head back to my dorm and just sleep.
Ruby: but.
Ben: please Ruby, listen, I'm not mad or upset, I just want some time to myself.
Ruby: alright....
Ben walked out and Velvet followed.
Velvet: you're really going to leave the fight early?
Ben: I mean I already fought, and I don't want to keep being reminded of my past.
Velvet: I understand.
Ben: you followed me for a reason, want to come with me until I get to my dorm.
Velvet: sure.
Ben: come on.
The hooded figures cake out of the shadows of the tunnel watching Velvet and Ben.
?????: perfect.
Meanwhile on a lone island. There were a bunch of people in black hoods, using blood to create a pentagram on the ground.
??????: Leader Eddie, our spies have found the perfect person.
Eddie turned around, he had a scar going across his eye, having one completely white.
Eddie: are you sure?
?????: they are positive.
Eddie: I sincerely hope so, being wrong takes a massive toll on the body.
??????: a Faunus girl, nice, caring, smart.
Eddie: I would like to see her....bring her.
?????: yes.
Back at Beacon.
Ben made it to his Dorm and Velvet stopped.
Ben: everything alright
Velvet: I hear something....cold?
Ben: how do you he-
Ben had his head slammed against the wall and put to the ground, another figure appeared behind Velvet and grabbed her.
Velvet: Ben!
Ben looked up at the hooded figure.
??????: goodnight.
He kicked Ben in the head, putting him unconscious.
?????: get her out of here!
The hooded figure disappeared with Velvet in thin air.
