"I don't know. He started having an anxiety attack I guess. I told him about Hyunjin's death and he started loosing himself. Is he okay?" Jisung's voice sounded worried, genuinely worried for a guy he just met.
"He's probably a very sensitive person. He'll be fine. Let him rest before you take him to class again okay?" A woman's voice followed.
Felix opened his eyes as he sat up slowly gaining Jisung's attention. The cute boy immediately rushed to him with his brows furrowed with concern. Though everything seemed blurry, the beauty was able to figure the things before him. He smiled at Jisung.
"I'm sorry. It's just......I don't know what took over me." He mumbled in English.
"It's fine okay. Don't stress yourself about it. Hmm? Let's go to class if you're feeling better. I'll ask the teacher if he can change your seat." Jisung squeezed the small arm with an assuring smile.
It was a terrible mistake to return back to the classroom. His heart just kept getting heavier, as if there was something heavy on it. He sat next to Hyunjin's table, Jisung spoke to the teacher while Felix sat with his blue eyes staring intently at the red roses, like a velvet fabric so smooth and dangerously tempting.
"He's so beautiful! What a pity that Hyunjin isn't here to see this beauty. He'd have loved him." Someone whispered, Felix let a finger run on a red petal, his eyes teared again.
It broke his heart on so many levels, like as if each string were ripped off his chambers. He wiped a tear that escaped his eye, why did it hurt so much? For a boy as gorgeous as him it was a crime to cry, for he still looked ethereal while doing so. He had dark hair, features like a statue craved by the greatest of sculptures, his blue eyes glistening under the sunlight.
"Felix you can sit at the back with your table if you find it hard to sit here." A girl squatted next to him with a familiar smile.
"I-Its fine." He lied. Was it fine? No. Definitely not! Why was he so shattered, his scars stung, as if the shards stuck to them were reappearing just to slice it deeper than it already was.
"I'm Lily. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask okay?" She smiled as she stood up to go to her seat.
"Hey Felix? Are you sure you'll be fine?" Jisung sighed, Felix nodded with a tight smile.
His head spun like a top thrown on a fine ground, the roses reminded him of a nostalgic smell, he felt someones breath down his neck. Was he haunted or was he really starting to have psychotic symptoms? He started sweating profusely, his eyes were red with all the crying. He didn't understand why it was happening but he knew it made him feel like shit.
"Felix wanna come grab lunch with me?" Jisung snapped him out of his thoughts at lunchtime. He nodded weakly as he stood up to go after the boy who seemed to nice and less painful to be with.
"W-What sort of person was this......this H-Hyunjin?" Felix broke the silence he had beeng hugging for hours since morning after he passed out.
"He was a sweetheart. You know that perfect guy who had every girls attention? He loved painting, there are so many paintings of his at the school's art room. He used to paint this boy often though, he seemed as if he were OBSESSED. Like really obsessed. He also seemed like he was on the search for someone but poor thing had to leave so soon. He was too sweet that God decided to take him first. I hated seeing him in pain all the time, he was very close to Changbin, it shattered the boy when he died one morning. He died at school actually." Jisung tried very hard not to cry, he smiled through tight lipped smile and heavy breathing.
"At school?" The beauty mumbled.
"Yeah. He suddenly fell really ill, well he always falls sick at times. Changbin was at the grounds having a rugby match, Hyunjin was on the bleachers and I was at the bathroom so no one saw him but when Binnie came back from the match Hyunjin was already dead. It left us shattered, school closed for a month and a half but we still feel his loss. Sometimes what you love is gone but never forgotten right?" Jisung sighed, he sniffled and wiped his tears before it fell. Smiling he took his tray of food and headed to a table next to the cafeteria glass walls. Felix bit his lips as he followed and sat beside the windows with his heart beating like a Maniac.
"W-Who was this boy though?" Felix whispered, his eyes flickered from the sun down to his tray of food back up at Jisung at the unusual shape of the shadow next to him.
"Hmm I don't remember actually. I never visited the art room ever again. Non of us did, how can we when our best friend is dead? Don't worry too much though. He's in a better place now and happy probably. You can look at his paintings tomorrow after lunch maybe? It's empty around those times." The older started eating as Felix stared down at his small soft arms that were on his lap under the table. He gingerly pulled up his sweater sleeve to stare at the scars on his skin. What was all these? Was he connected to him? He didn't know.
He finished lunch as he went down the stairs of the library alone, Jisung had to hand in a homework so he left the beauty alone. He went down the stairs, it was dark as the weather started turning darker as rain and grey clouds shaded the sky.
"Going somewhere?" A voice asked him as he looked up in fear. On a high elevation sat a man with a sinister male beauty that wouldn't think twice to trap one's soul.
