I'm awoken the next day by the sound of a gentle voice. I open my eyes and see that dad is at my side. I smile still sleepy, closing my eyes once more.

Ha-Morning.
-Morning.
Ha-Ready for...the wedding?
I can hear his voice crumble behind the words and I sit up on the bed.
-Yes and no.
Ha-Can I ask why?
-Well, I'm happy about it, a lot but....
Ha-But?
-I guess I'm a bit afraid and nervous. After all, it is a huge step in life and a big compromise to one another. I guess I'm afraid of not being the ideal wife and nervous because after all this time is finally the day. What if I mess up? Or something happens? What if.....
Ha-What if I walk you down the aisle and you be happy with him for the rest of your life.
-But, I could trip over the dress and ruin it. What if I make a fool out of myself?
Ha-Calm down, slow, deep breaths.
I take a few deep breaths to calm down before he hugs me rubbing my back gently making me feel at ease again.
Ha-Better?
-Much, promise me you won't let me fall or trip.
Ha-I promise I won't let you fall. Now, eat something and dress up. I'll wait for you outside.
I nod at him and he exits the room and I go prepare and after two and a half hours I'm ready to go. I open the door and true to his word he's on the hallway waiting for me patiently. His back is turned to me so I sneak a kiss on his cheek. He's so focused on his phone that when he feels me he almost drops it. I smile at that and when he takes a good look at me his smile grows and he tries to hide it with his hand.
Ha-You.
-Sorry, forgot you didn't have the chance to see me with the dress on. So, do I look good?
Ha-Do you really have to ask? Of course you look good, you're glowing.
With a kiss on the forehead he takes my hand and we leave with dad escorting me all the way to the car. He opens the door for me and we leave to the church at last. We get there and I'm surprised at how different it looks now that the guests are all here. I watch as dad steps off of the car and comes to my side to open the door for me. He offers me his hand and I take it, stepping off of the car myself. Once I'm out he closes the door behind me and the car drives away.
-Dad.
Ha-I got you, I got you.
I clench my hand into his forearm and he clasps my hand softly. We walk towards the door slowly and we stop in front of them and as they open I hear the sound of music coming from inside and I watch as some petals flowers and flowers fall around us as we continue walking down the aisle. I feel as tears dwell upon my eyes and it takes everything I have to not let them fall, I inhale deeply and smile proudly as we step closer to the altar. I see Diego smiling back at me dressed with a white tuxedo. As we reach the altar dad let's go of me as Diego takes my hands in his. We look at each other lovingly until we step up the stairs and the ceremony begins.

D-I do.
-I do.
Father-I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.
We look at each other and he takes my face in his hands while coming down to kiss me. When we kiss everyone starts cheering at us. We turn to look at everyone and as I look through the guests I stop when I see dad. I cling to my new husband lovingly and smile at him and he smiles back at me. I walk outside by my husband's arm with everyone else following us and we all get into a couple of carriages led by horses. I step on it carefully and we're off to the after party.
We get there and I see as a lot of bouquet of flowers are thrown from the ceiling. I look at Diego.
-I know I organized this but, is still breathtaking.
D-You did awesome, I knew letting you be in charge of the planifications was a good idea.
I smile at him as we come to a stop and he helps me down the carriage and into the ballroom. I point him to our table and push him away.
-Wait here, I have another surprise for you. Keep your eyes there.
I take with me to the back Demeter, Hestia, mom, Persephone and Aphrodite and we take our places as I unbutton the bottom of my dress making it shorter so is easier to move and dance in it and join the others on stage and we start singing and dancing.

As we finish our performance I look at Diego who's eyes are glowing with love. I smile at him lovingly and step off the stage to join him.
-Thoughts?
D-Amazing. I have one for you too.
-Do you now?
He nods and he walks over to dad and asks for his phone. Dad caves it to him and he walks to the stage and takes a guitar with him and starts playing.

He finishes and he raises an eyebrow at me curious and I smile at him letting know that I liked it.

Within minutes everyone is singing along or dancing and taking turns to take the stage to sing. I'm enjoying my food when I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and I find mom, dad, Osiris and Persephone looking at us.
Ha-Come and join us for this dance. Both of you.
I look at Diego and he stands offering his hand to me. I take one last bite before taking his hand and standing. We walk to the dancefloor and the music starts playing and we start dancing. We start with a vals and follow with a more moved song.

When we finish the song I notice we are alone on the dance floor. I look at dad and I give him a questioning look but he shakes his head lifting a hand. I roll my eyes and look at Diego. I pull him down to whisper on his ear.
-Help me put dad on the dance floor for a bit.
He nods and on the next two songs we dance as we gracefully step closer to dad and when we are close enough he gives me a twirl and I slip out of his arms and pull dad into the dance floor with me. He starts dancing along with me.
Ha-I told you I didn't want to dance.
-I know, but I don't care. You are dancing and that's that.
Ha-Only because is your day.
-Thank you.
Ha-I have a gift for you and one for him as well. But you'll have to wait until you get home, I'll give it to you there.
-You really are incorrigible. Now I want to stay here as much as I want to leave.
I hear him laugh a little and I smile as the song ends. We separate and he gives me a kiss on the forehead.
Ha-You are not my little princess anymore. You have grown into a fine, young woman and I couldn't be prouder about you.
-I will always be your little princess.
We both leave the dance floor and sit down at our table to finish eating and I watch as the other gods dance until the clock hits midnight. I walk over to Diego.
-Diego, is midnight. Time for the bigger dance.
D-I know, do you want to tell them?
I nod at him and walk over to the microphone.
-Everyone ready for the last dance?
Aphrodite-Last dance? The night still young.
All-Yeah.
I lift my hands silencing them.
-Oh no, you misunderstand. Is going to be my last dance for a while. Do not worry, it'll be worth it though. Let me explain, in this dance I will provide you with a different clothing but to do that I will need you to lend me your power before starting. The dance per se is a freestyle, I will take the first turn followed by Diego and then whoever I call next will step in the middle and dance wathever you want. Let's say if is Zeus I will say go Zeus and he steps forward dances and when I call the next one he leaves and the next one dances. How does that sound?
All-Whoo, go on!
-Before we begin, lend me your power. It will make everything easier.
I step on the middle of the dance floor and I focus on the borrowed power, changing their clothes slowly. When I finish I sigh satisfied.
-Not bad. Diego, I'm ready.
Diego turns on the music and I start dancing, everyone claps and as near the end of my part I step closer to the edge.
-Go Diego.

Diego steps forward and starts dancing and after a couple seconds I call another name.
-Go Cerberus.
I watch as Cerberus steps forward and Diego comes to my side. Cerberus does a robotic dance and I call yet another god.
-Go Chimera.
I look at him dance when something catches my eye. I turn and see dad pouring himself a drink. I smile mischiveously and text at everyone in the room except dad and the dancer.
-Go dad!
I watch as the others pull him inside the circle and we start calling his name.
All-Hades, Hades, Hades.
Ha-Fine.
He takes his jacket off and throws it away and puts his hands in his pockets as he starts to tap the floor slowly and then it grows louder as he steps forward and backwards, he jumps backwards landing in a split and as he stands and gets close to me after jumping forward and landing with a knee on the floor he takes my hand and gives it a kiss. He stands and fixes his sleeves and at first I'm too shocked to say anything before I snap to attention and call the next dancer.
-Go Aphrodite.
I watch as dad comes towards me and he kisses me on the cheek.
Ha-You're hot.
-Flatterer.
Ha-No, you're hot like burning up, are you feeling okay?
-No biggie, go Poseidon. It must be the energy I used up to make their clothes with my aura even with all of you helping me it does take a toll on me.
Ha-If is that tiring why you do it?
-Is no big deal, I can handle it. Go Zeus. Now let's party even harder.
I step away from him after kissing his cheek and watch the others dance.
-Go Hercules.
Once everyone has danced I call everyone.
-Now in couples. Go Medusa and Chimera.
They both step up nervously but still manage to do an impressive dance. Then Diego and I step up and we're not even halfway done when I crumble on the floor. I hear as Diego steps closer to me.
D-Themis, hey, what happened?
-Just a bit dizzy and tired.
D-Osiris, Hades.
In seconds they're both at our side checking me and before long dad lifts me up on his arms and I tuck at his shirt.
-Wait. Keep dancing everyone, I'll join you later.
I watch as they keep dancing while dad, Diego and Osiris take me to a quiet corner.
Ha-Told you this was going to happen.
-Maybe I shouldn't have danced.
O-You think.
D-Why didn't you told me you didn't feel so good?
-Sorry, I didn't gave it too much thought either. Besides, I didn't want to finish the party early or cut it short.
D-Themis, you're immortal not invulnerable.
-I know.
O-No, you don't and just in case, you don't. Have you forgotten you were attacked twice and poisoned too.
-And yet, here I am.
O-What a pain. Diego, do you see what you're going to deal with everyday for the rest of your life.
D-Yes, I know, but what can I say. I love her that way and wouldn't change a single thing.
-Is that two compliments or an insult and a compliment afterwards?
D-Insult? You wound me.
Ha-Enough, let her rest. Both of you, and you. Do rest a bit, please.
-Fine, I'll stay here. Just one thing I want to say. If you want to dance go away and enjoy yourselves.
To my surprise, neither of them goes away to dance. They only sit by my side and before long I'm more asleep than awake and when I almost doze off completely I jump a bit surprised.
-I'm awake, I'm awake, I'm, I'm..... Diego?
I stand up a bit before someone pulls me back down.
Ha-Where are you going?
-Diego's not here.
Ha-He's probably dancing or getting something to eat.
Just then I hear Diego approaching with a dish of sushi.
D-You're awake.
Ha-As soon as you were out of sight she awoke completely.
D-Is that so?
-How is everyone doing?
D-Some gods left. Ares, Dyonisus and almost all monsters except for Chimera and the guardians. Oh, Aphrodite left as well.
-We should go home too.
Ha-Yeah, you should. I'll take you.
-Diego?
D-Let's go home.
I look at dad as he gets up and we follow him outside. We step in the car and I look as we left the ballroom behind. I lay my head on Diego's chest and he rests his hand along my hair. We get to a simple yet elegant house after an hour of trip. I look at it in awe as I step out of the car.

He hands over two boxes and as we open them I see two swords for me and a golden bracelet with spikes for Diego.

Ha-They're deadly as well but they are mainly for protection.
After another hug to the both of us he goes away after giving us the keys leaving us alone. I look at Diego and we both enter the house.
