After a day of walking we stop at the infinity pool where dad excuses himself and leaves me alone with my thoughts. Just when I was getting tired of waiting I feel a hand on my shoulder.
-Finally, what took you so long?
D-What do you mean?
-Diego? Where's dad?
D-Come, he's waiting for us.
He offers me a hand and I take it lovingly. He takes me through the gates and after a couple of minutes without a word I ask him.
-Where are we going?
He looks at me and smiles without saying a word. We reach a forest with big, tall trees. I look up and as I gaze in awe at the trees I notice that Diego is nowhere in sight. I look around and I realize that there is a rain of petals falling all around me. I laugh as they fall and I take some putting them in my hair when I hear Diego's voice.
D-Themis.
-Diego, where are you?
D-Follow the path.
-Okay.
I follow the path of flowers and they lead to a cabin at the center of the woods by the shadow of a massive tree. I approach the cabin and there is a bouquet of flowers by the door. I take them and read the note in a whisper.
-A beautiful gift for a beautiful woman. Love Diego.
I enter the cabin and turn on the lights revealing a lot of the other gods welcoming me. Some monsters and some demigods.
All-Welcome.
I turn around and see the rest of Olympus coming through the woods I just crossed when suddenly I see Diego on a tree, I smile at him and he jumps from tree to tree with grace and agility until he's on the branch on top of me. I back away a bit.
D-Hi.
-What's all this?
He hangs upside down from the branch and gives me a kiss on the lips before smiling at me. He points behind me and as I turn I see that some gods, including my dad, have lifted each a letter forming a sentence, or rather, a question. I feel tears on my eyes but don't let them fall when I hear a thud behind me. I turn and Diego is now on one knee with a box on his hand revealing a ring. I look at him delighted.
D-Themis, goddess of justice, my reason and purpose to live. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?
I let out a laugh before throwing myself at him in a hug.
-Yes, I do. I gladly marry you. I love you.
He gives me a kiss and takes my hand and puts the ring in my finger.

We stand up together when I hear a round of applause and cheers around us. I look around and are reminded that we are not alone. Everyone is clapping right now when I feel myself being lifted up in the air.
-Who?
O-My little sister is now a grown woman about to marry. Oh, who will I bother now?
-Really? You just want to bother me?
O-Just kidding, you know I love you dearly. By the way, dad chose the ring you're wearing.
-Did he now?
O-He didn't want to but did as Diego's insistence.
D-I wanted to show my respect for him and my love to you.
-Then let's thank him.
We both walk over to dad who is being bothered by his siblings. I sneak up behind him before enveloping him in a tight hug. I let go just long enough for him to face me before hugging him once more.
-Thanks dad, you're the best.
Ha-You don't have to thank me for anything.
-I don't, let's see. You love me, approve of our relationship, accept him as well, you dear dad, are the best dad I could ask for.
Ha-My princess have become a full grown woman. It hurts that you won't need me anymore but you have to make your life and grow to your full potential.
-I will always need you, every single one of you. Come, I know how to get everyone up to speed.
I take Diego and dad by their hands and walk to where everyone can see me and hear me. I step up and call out everyone making sure they can hear me. I nod in satisfaction but throw an attack at the only gods who are not paying attention, Zeus and Hercules.
-I'm speaking, pay attention.
Hercules-And if I don't want to?
I glare at him menacingly.
Hercules-I want to.
I look at Zeus and he nods at me.
-Good. Now, I would like to say something to all the young gods as well as some of the Top Tier Gods. You might think we won't need you just because we grow up and make our separate lives. We might go away, but we always keep close. As a young goddess myself, I can say this much for myself. I might grow up or move away or not at all but I will always need the guide of my dad and the love of my mother and also but not less important, the jokes and teasing of my brother. You see, there are some things that only a parent can provide besides wisdom and that is guidance, support, strength among other things.
I spread my wings open and call forth my aura. I take Diego's hand and share my power with him. I take dad's hand as well and he lends me his power as well.
-Stronger, together.
At that everyone calls forth their auras and shoot to the skies making fireworks. Followed by a cheer and a big party afterwards. I look at Osiris and point up to the skies when he gets it I leap up to the skies.
-Well, what are you waiting for? Join me for a friendly race.
He joins me in the sky.
O-To Olympus and back?
-Hermes, oh Hermes, can you do me a favor?
Hermes comes and I give him my phone and tell him what to do. He leaves and almost immediately Osiris phone rings.
-Well that was fast.
I watch as Hermes appears in front of me, makes a polite bow and goes to the ground. He makes a signal and we take our positions, he makes another signal and we race to Olympus and back. We stop when we get back to the cabin. Both of us laughing and panting.
-Well that was fun.
O-It sure was.
-So, who won?
Osiris and I walk in synchronization towards Hermes expectantly. He slows down and we stop hovering over him and look at each other as we laugh.
-Did you saw that or was it me?
O-Is not you, I saw it too. The fastest god...
-...is being slow. I wonder why.
Hermes-My most sincere apologies but, there is no winner. It was a tie.
And just like that he speeds away from us. I giggle softly to myself as I make my way back to Diego.
D-Who won?
-Tie.
D-And you don't mind at all.
-Not really. I didn't lost, so, no. Fiancee.
D-Fiancee, I like how it sounds.
We laugh a bit before we are interrupted by mom and dad.
Ha-I hear music but I don't see dancers.
He-Let's dance.
I watch as mom pulls Diego up and lead him to dance as dad offers me a hand and a polite bow. I smile as I take his hand and he leads me to dance.
Ha-Step on my toes.
-I'm not as little as I was that time. I do weight a bit more now.
Ha-No matter. I can still hold you. Now, step on.
I sigh as I step on his shoes and he takes off dancing his way through.
-Can you teach me how to dance like this?
Ha-Gladly mon tresor.
-Huh?
Ha-It means my treasure and is French.
-Fancy, I like it.
Ha-They do say this is the ladies tongue after all.
-Thanks, I love you, daddy.
Ha-Love you too princess.
I watch as other gods join in the dance and before I know it I'm switching partners across the room when I stop right in Diego's arms.
D-Tired?
-Not a chance, you?
D-The night has just started.
We link our hands together and I share my power with him when I see him flinch a bit I stop and unhand him hurriedly and a bit worried.
-You feeling fine?
D-Yeah, just need a bit of air, wait for me.
-Of course, the fun will only start with both of us.
He nods and goes outside smiling at me.
---------------------Diego POV---------------------
I go to the side of the cabin and throw a punch at the sky letting out all the power I can't suppress back. It takes longer than expected. If this keeps up I could hurt them. I manage to stop the flow long enough to get as far as possible so they don't get hurt and I let all the power go out. I fear I might not be able to control myself so I just let it all go out on me. As long as they don't get hurt by my hand I don't mind.
--------------------Themis POV-------------------
I sigh in boredom as I wait for Diego when I feel the earth shaking. I run outside and almost get blasted away by a powerful force. I look at all that power in disbelief as dad and some of the other gods join me outside.
-Diego.
I start to walk towards it when I feel someone grabbing me by the hand. I look and I see dad looking at me as calm as ever.
Ha-I'll go with you.
I nod and we run off in the general direction. Some gods stop midway unable to continue moving. When we reach the spot where is originating from I look in horror at the sight. Diego is being attacked by his own aura. Without thinking I go forward, missing completely an attack that, lucky for me, dad takes me out of harm's way by putting himself in between. We both land hard on the floor and I see as dad receives blast after blast without a single break. A couple more shots are thrown at him and he starts bleeding, a lot. When everything stops he looks at me smiling and a bit mad by his tone.
Ha-Really?
-They do say love is blind. Thanks and sorry.
Ha-No matter.
I see a blast and as I try to warn him is already to late. The blast is too close to us but he still holds me tightly to him with fierce protectiveness. The blast hits and I hear as he let's out a painful scream. I feel his raging, uneven breath on the top of my neck. After the attacks are over I feel his grip loosen up and I look at him worriedly. He's still awake but he won't if this keeps going on longer. As angry as I am right now I could easily stop this, the only problem is that he is my fiancee and not an enemy I have to defeat nor kill. I look around and I notice that most of the gods are down or struggling to stay up and conscious. I push dad off of me and step up. I had enough of this, this is supposed to be my engagement party and nothing is going to ruin it. I take my stance and power up, bit by bit.
Ha-Themis, not yet.
-I can't let him die. I love him, besides, stronger together. You taught me that, I promise I'll be careful. Let go.
He lets go of me and I kneel focusing all my power into my wings for a boost up. I feel the ground shake and crumble beneath me.
-Not yet, just a bit more, come on.
I unfold my wings and give a powerful flap getting up in the air. I spread myself open as I lower myself in front of Diego. As I'm about to reach him I see a lightning bolt zap between us. For a brief moment my attention is not on Diego but is enough for him to escape my field of vision. I look at Zeus who apparently doesn't realize what he's done until I'm on top of him.
-Why you did that? I was handling it just fine!
Z-Not by the looks of it.
Ha-Calm down, Cerberus is tracking him as we speak.
-I will scold you later.
I take to the airs once more and look for Diego as eyesight reach but don't find him. I go back down and fold my wings behind me keeping them ready to take off any moment. I look as the other gods reach us and tend to the ones that were already here. I sit on the grass and I look at the stars as they appear.
-This was supposed to be a happy and memorable moment and now, is ruined.
Ha-It is your night, your moment. Is not ruined.
-But, you're hurt and Diego is out there on the loose with his aura attacking him mercilessly. I can't lose him, not now, not ever. I won't lose him. This is all your fault, because of you he escaped and now he's.... out of my reach.
Z-I didn't mean it to go this way. Truly, I'm sorry.
I laugh a bit sarcastically as I let myself drop to the floor crying when I hear something coming through the trees, I look up hopefully but is just Persephone. For a moment I'm disappointed but then I jump to her arms. She hugs me back, rubbing my back gently.
Pe-Is okay, I'm here. Tell me everything or nothing at all. Whichever you choose I will be here for you.
-Thank you.
I feel as time passes slowly as anxiety dwells deep within me. I try meditation but I'm too anxious to stay
still for long so I shoot blasts of aura attacks to a nearby tree. When the tree is down I turn to another tree and go physical on that one. Kicking off the branches one by one and throwing punches at the tree itself when I see a blast of raw power coming from the ocean shore. I take flight to see better and I hear dad's phone ringing. I go to him as he answers, is Cerberus and he found Diego but he can't get close to him. I look at dad and then at Zeus. I search for the obvious choice and find him, healing some other minor gods. I call out to him and ask him to join me look for Diego. He gladly accepts and I go over to dad for his blessing which he gives. He gives me the twin katanas I used on my test. I look at him confused.
Ha-Consider it a gift for being a goddess now. I put them down and use my power to change clothes with my new trick. I take one sword in each hand.
-Let's go hunting.

Po-Let's go.
I give dad a quick kiss before going away. We reach the shore before long. I watch as he just stands there, being attacked by his own aura. I position myself in place and call out to him.
-Diego, snap out of it!
I watch as one of the fragments of his aura lurges toward me menacingly but to my surprise is not Poseidon who attacks or defends. Is Diego, he stands in front of the aura and crushes it before looking over his shoulder at me then he walks away again. I look at him stunned and I let go of my blades as I reach out for him making him face me and I give him a passionate, loving kiss. I don't dare let go until I feel his hands on my face.
D-Themis?
Just like that he collapses in front of me and just like that everything ends without any bigger problems. As Poseidon takes him on his arms carrying him away I can't help but feel uneasy at how easy everything ended. I look at the distance once more and after a moment I sigh, pushing away those thoughts. I take the blades and sheath them back on their cases. I walk over to where Poseidon is feeling a bit lightheaded but continue despite it. Unable to shake the uneasiness away I stop uncle for a moment. He look at me in confusion.
-I'm going to check something, for precaution. Take him to the cabin. I'll catch up there.
Po-Don't take too long.
I nod at him and take flight. I fly as up as I can and look for an isolated place. I'm overflowing with power, I have to work it out somehow. I start flying in circles at high speed, creating a tornado in the place. As soon as it dissipates I fly back to the cabin, to where everyone is. As I fly there I feel as my vision becomes blurrier, I wipe my face with my forearm and as I lose strength I push myself to at least get there in time. I get there enough to smile and relax a bit which results in being a bad idea as everything goes black.
-------------------Osiris POV----------------------
I look as Poseidon comes with Diego on his arms unconscious and I look around looking for Themis when I see dad looking at something, someone, in the sky. I look and sure enough is Themis, I smile in relief but that turns to fear as I notice she is not herself. I see as she loses consciousness and I take flight to catch her midair so she doesn't get hurt in the free fall. I lie her down carefully and as I'm stepping up I feel her grab my ankle.
T-Diego, where?
-He's fine, his aura has weakened considerably. So they can patch him up.
T-Let me see him. Help me up.
-Are you sure?
T-Fine, I'll manage on my own, some brother.
-Easy there, I'll take you just give me a second. Here take my hand, slowly and easy.
She does as I say without discussion. She takes her time in each movement but doesn't give up. She continues and I finally realize just how much her love for him is. Usually she stares at me menacingly or gives me a slight punch but this time she does as I say without fighting back. The only reason I don't carry her over there is because I respect her wishes.
-------------------Themis POV--------------------
Every step I take is like a painful dagger thrown at me. I take my time with each step not wanting to show any sign of weakness. I hear a sudden roar, like a lion but I have no doubt that is Diego in there. I look up and I see a faint yellow glow from where he is. I recognize it instantly and as I stop moving when I see a shadow coming through the trees. I watch as he gets closer to Diego but the other gods are so focused on Diego to notice him. I look once more and I see a silver line appearing and as he lurches forward going for the kill. Before I know I'm in front of him, his blade piercing through my side. I hear dad calling out for me as I fall to my knees.
Ha-Themis! No!
O-Themis!
The next moment Osiris is at my side and dad is making a full force attack on the stranger. I watch as he delivers blow after blow at him. His attacks are powerful and graceful as ever but not as controlled as always. His attacks are raw and predictable with each passing moment. I try to move but the pain on my side is too much and I fall to the ground on my hands and knees once more.
O-Themis! Don't move, you'll hurt yourself.
-But...
O-Dad is strong, he can manage.
I look at dad again as he closes in on the stranger. He sends him flying with a powerful kick. He lands on his face and as he tries to get up dad puts a foot on his back and as he closes in on the stranger, he looks at me begging and a hint of recognition hits me. I throw an arrow of aura at my dad, stopping him. He looks at me and his expression softens. I motion for him to bring him to me and as he does I look at Osiris.
-Help me up please.
He does and I fix myself a bit. I feel the pain but I suck it up as I breathe in and out hardening my expression. Just then dad arrives and throws him on the ground he tries to stand but dad pushes him down to the ground. I look down at him and with my most authoritative voice I speak.
-What is your reason?
Stranger-You.
-Explain yourself.
S-I love you. I wanted to be with you, try at least one more time to get you to notice me at least. Without him, you would go with me and we could be happy, I know I can make you happy.
-What makes you think I would be with you if he died? What makes you think I won't kill you instead?
S-I didn't, I thought I could make you happy.
-Do I look happy?
S-......No.
I nod at him and he looks at me pleadingly. I make my decision and motion for him to stand and he does, he looks at me scared.
