As I woke I looked around. No creepers, no ridge, nothing but a note.

Dear Jac

Kaz will bring you breakfast and lunch today. Sorry about leaving very early, I just want to make tonight special, meet me in the grand dining room for dinner, dress appropriately there will be many guests. Don't worry, not Nilsey or Duncan, just a few friends of mine. Kaz can help you pick a dress out of the dresser in the corner of the room, don't worry I stocked it this morning. And one final reminder, we care for each other, do we not, so let's show these people what true love is.

He cared back, he cared back! I suddenly was able to get up, twirl a bit in the coat. My lips opened as I laughed for the first time in days, the joyous sound pealed through the air and gave everything a sort of glisten. I couldn't wait! Tonight I would meet some of his friends, would they be gods, mortals like me. It puzzled me but I didn't let it change anything about my attitude, I just decided that I would be perfect, loving or subdued, anything for him. Wow how unexpected this was, falling for a god of chaos, no not even a god, THE god! And he cared back. I slowly sat back down to practice speaking without having my voice crack.

As I looked at all my plates I was dumbfounded, which one would SHE like though. Plain porcelain or diamond? Oh this was so confusing, it was all for her though, a mortal that had somehow gotten a god curled around her finger. I looked around at the long table thinking of where to place everyone, I heard Rythian and Sjin had made up so he didn't have to worry about that, and everyone else was fairly ok with anything anyone threw at them. I decided to seat them by company, it was just easier. Speaking of Rythian I have to call everyone and get them to come. I might just make her smile even in her sickness.

As Kaz brought in lunch and set it down I knew it was actually happening, not just a fantasy in a dreaming girls head." Kaz, do you think his friends will like me?" I asked her as I slowly took a bite of an apple. "Definitely, I also think you will adore them." She said flashing her special smile at me and making me feel safe. "Now let's pick out a dress!" Kaz yelled as I set down the apple and walked to the other side of the room looking at the large dresser.

Great! Everyone was able to come! This was fantastic and I don't have to be shy around her either. Just me. As I looked down at the table I remembered, my suit!" I ran up to my room grabbing a dress shirt, cravat, and pair of tan dress pants changing quickly and running to the bathroom to fix my hair.

As the minutes ticked by I stared at Kaz. "It's time." I whispered as she opened the door. On the other side of the door was a hallway after walking down that I saw a double staircase and at the bottom was two things, a ballroom and Ridge.
