"Ryuzaki, like I said over the phone, I might be Kira." Light says, and your eyes widen. 'Is this what Lights been planning? Why didn't he tell me?' Mr. Yagami gasps, "No, light!" He runs over and puts his hands on Lights shoulders roughly. "What are you talking about?! Why would you even say something like that? Why?"

You make eye contact with Light, your worried expression soon turning into a solemn one. 'I see what he's planning. He probably wants to do the same as Misa, and forfeit ownership of the Death Note, losing all memories of if. I wonder, though, if this will cause him to drift from Misa, having no need for her, since he doesnt know about the Death Note, or that he was Kira. I'm quite excited to see this outcome.'

"Light, you're serious? You really believe you're Kira? What's gotten into you? Are you- are you insane?" You say. "Y/n, I want you to trust me on this, if I'm Kira, I'm not sure what to think, but if I'm not, this will provide the proof to L." Light says, and you rub your eyes, 'Idiot.'

"Look, Dad, if Ryuzaki is L, then it's safe to say that he is the worlds best detective. And right now, he seems pretty sure that I'm Kira. We know L's never been wrong before." Light switches his attention to his father. "Wha- What are you saying, Light? Stop this!"

'I said I wouldn't help with anything, and I'm just here to watch, but how does he think he's going to pull this off?' "What about that FBI agent, Raye Penber? It was me he was investigating immediately before he died. And I was in Aoyama on May 22nd. Also, I'm the first person in the Kanto region that Misa, the alleged Second Kira, approached. It's all been me. If I were in L's place, even I would have come to the same conclusion. You see, subconsciously I might be Kira. If that were the case, I could be him and not even know it." Light says, digging a deeper hole for himself in your point of view. "No, Light." Mr. Yagami mutters

"I..I'm not sure of anything anymore. I'd never kill someone, but, unconsciously, who knows what I'm capable of? Another me could be killing people as I sleep." Light says. "I'm afraid that's not possible." L says, and you smirk. "Huh? Not possible? What do you mean?" Light asks. "Well, I never mentioned this to you, but at one point I had hidden surveillance cameras installed in your room for five days." L states. 'Ooh.. touchdown." You flinch. "Cameras?" Light gasps, even though he knew. "Yes. Every single night you slept normally. Criminals, who's names were being broadcast, were still dying. Even though you would have had no way of knowing about them. But this didn't prove your innocence to me. All it proved was that if you were Kira, no amount of camera surveillance would reveal that fact." States, in his monotonous voice. "Wouldn't reveal that fact, huh? I.. don't know. It could be true. I have to admit, I've found myself thinking that.. some criminals deserve to die. If I can think like Kira, then how can I be sure,, that I'm not actually him." Light says. "Hold on light!" Matsuda exclaims, you looking over to him. "I feel exactly the same way. I've found myself thinking before that some people would be better off dead. But still, that doesn't mean we're gonna go out and kill people. Isn't that right? Besides, criminals were still being killed even while you had no knowledge of them. I mean, the surveillance cameras proved it, didn't they?" He yelled. "Well, no." Aizawa spoke up. "Because we were short of investigators then, we only watched him while he was at home. Truth is, we weren't able to watch him every hour of the day. It's possible he could've found some way to kill those criminals while he wasn't at home." You look over to Ryuzaki, you can tell he doesn't believe Lights bullshit. "Honestly, I don't like the way that this is going at all. But what choice do I have? Let's do it. I need you to fully restrain Light Yagami, and place him in solitary confinement." L says, "What? You can't!" Mr. Yagami exclaims. "You want us to.. confine him? Seriously?!" Matsuda gasps.

Ryuzaki then looks at you. "And also place Y/n into solitary confinement, as well. I have reason to suspect she is in on this." You gasp. "Y/n too?!" Matsuda exclaims. Does he really think I'm helping this bastard? "Wha- Ryuzaki, you still think I'm helping Kira? Even after we-" L cuts you off by clearing his throat. "I apologize, but I think you are under the same suspicion as Light. If you agree, I will place under confinement." You glare at Ryuzaki. "Fine. But don't expect any favors from me from now on." You snapped, standing up. "From this point on you can't be allowed to go anywhere we're I can't see you." L sighs.

"This is crazy! There's no way my son or Y/n could be Kira. They're not capable of.." Mr. Yagami shouts, Light cutting him off. "It's okay, Dad." Mr. Yagami looks at him. "Stop this, Light."

"Listen. Something has to be done about this. As long as I'm having these doubts, I can't work with you to catch Kira. But Ryuzaki, promise me this. Until you say with absolute certainty that I'm not Kira, you cannot set me free, no matter what I might say, or what condition I might be in." Light states. "You have my word, and Y/n, I expect you have the same conditions?" Ryuzaki turns to you. You huff, looking away angrily, but nodding. 'This is fucking insane, just because Light is a fucking idiot doesn't mean I should face repercussions.'

"Mr. Yagami, can you come up with some sort of excuse for Light and Y/n's absence, something to tell your family? And.. please, do it now." Ryuzaki requests. "But.. this is all so sudden. What should I say? And I see no reason why they should be in prison." Mr Yagami snaps. "Let it go dad." Light sighs. "If I don't do this, I won't be able to live with myself. And I expect Y/n has the same thoughts."

"But son, do you really.. mean that?" Mr Yagami says, wide-eyed. "Yeah. I believe that by giving up my very freedom, I'm defeat this fear that Kira lurks within me."

You and Light were now standing by a door, each wearing a blindfold, earmuffs, and handcuffs. 'This is so humiliating.' "Aizawa, please take them away." L commands. "Right.." Aizawa leads you and Light to seperate rooms.

You were sitting in a cell, similar to Lights, a bed, behind bars, with a camera facing towards you. You sat with a solemn expression on your face. 'When I get out of here, I'm going to fucking murder Ryuzaki. Just a few weeks ago we shared that 'heartfelt' moment and now I'm here, in a cell, and it's all his fault. I'm still wondering why I was even sent down here, I'm the sky goddess, I have other duties other then playing cat and mouse with two idiot humans. I can't wait to get back to my beautiful sky, if I even can..' you were deep in thought, thinking about what you will do if you can't get back to the clouds, while Light had something else on his mind.

With Light, he was plotting something else. 'Next I just have to get rid of the notebook.' "So, I guess apples are out of the question?"

Ryuzaki was watching the 3 of you on the cameras, deep in thought. 'I feel bad for Y/n, yes, she's a suspect, but for some reason I can't quite figure out, I have a something in me that feels bad for her. Maybe it's how she mentioned what happened a few weeks ago, but that kiss was nothing, right? It didn't mean anything.. did it? I can't be having feelings for one of the main suspects..'

Mr. Yagami walked in, "Ryuzaki. I'd like to request that you take me off this investigation." He says, solemnly. "Chief!" Matsuda exclaims, "But why?" Aizawa gasps. "I've thought about this and the fact is that we're holding my son, Light, as a prime suspect. Given that, it's not appropriate for me to be here. When we spoke earlier, my feelings got in the way. It's impossible for me to be objective in this situation." Mr. Yagami states.

"I agree with you. We can't let personal feelings get in the way." Ryuzaki replies. "And in truth.. if— if the task force concludes that my son is Kira, I don't know what I'd be capable of." Mr. Yagami says with a shaky voice. "Yes, I'll agree with you there. To be honest, I wondered what you might do. I believe you'd kill your son, then yourself." Ryuzaki says, picking up a piece of fruit, and eating it. "I'd also agree that it's best that we don't have you working here for now."

"Ryuzaki. I will ask that you confine me as well. At the moment, I'm calm, but to be honest, I'm not sure how much more of this I can take." Mr Yagami exclaims. "I thought you might say that so I spoke with Watari. He's made arrangements." Ryuzaki eats another piece of fruit. "Mm. But, your confinement will be different. You will keep your cellphone turned on, and maintain regular contact with family and friends. You won't tell Light or Y/n about this. If one of them do call you at some point, they must be made to believe that you're still at headquarters. While you are in confinement, we'll be giving you continuous updates on the investigation, so you'll know what's happening." Ryuzaki finishes eating. "So, how does that sound to you?" Ryuzaki says, while chewing. "I'm grateful. Thank you." Mr. Yagami says, sorrow in his voice.
