SEVENTEEN
The final month at Hogwarts was going by fast. Classes were coming to a close. So they did the most teenager thing ever to celebrate.
A killer party.
Music was blasting throughout the Gryffindor common room, drinks were being poured. At first Athena was a little reserved about drinking the Firewhiskey but that soon faded.
Sirius and danced on the tables chugging our drinks. Lily and James were all over each other in their engagement bliss.
"More goddess?" Sirius asked holding up the bottle
"Why not." Athena laughed.
"Open up!" Sirius held the bottle out and poured some into her mouth. She swallowed it quickly and kissed him.
Sirius laughed too then chugging the rest of the bottle.
After he finished he came over and put his arm around her.
"To Hogwarts!" Someone yells.
"To Hogwarts!"
And just like that the final party of the year came to a close.

Athena turned her key and opened the door.
"Welcome home!" Lily Chorused.
Athena smiled and set the boxes down with a thud.
"I'm so glad the four of us are staying together!"
"Me too!" Lily squealed, "I'm gonna need a lot of help with the wedding!"
"I said I would help you" Cut in a voice walking in from the kitchen.
"Of course love" Lily playfully rolled her eyes as James fake pouted.
Athena looked at the couple. Finally they had admitted their love for each other. And now look at them! Engaged!
"I think Sirius is waiting for you upstairs" James winked.
Athena threw one of the couch pillows at him and walked up the stairs.
"Welcome home goddess" Sirius smiled as she walked into their bedroom.
"Glad to be here love"
Then he started asking Athena questions about paint colors and bed covers. Yeah, the bad boy Sirius Black wanted help choosing satin or pearl paint. Athena was as surprised as anyone.
But they were happy, in the midst of a war they were happy.

"How do I look?" Lily asked, fidgeting with her dress.
"Beautiful" Athena smiled, buttoning the final button on her flowing white gown.
"Ready to be Mrs. Potter?" Athena teased.
"Of course" Lily smiled, "Are you ready to be Mrs. Black."
"Oh please," Athena laughed, "Let's just get you down the aisle first."
Athena took her hand and they walked to the back door of the Potter house. First Athena stepped through the door frame in a purple bridesmaid dress. It was a small ceremony only close family and friends. Athena walked down the isle sending Sirius a wink as she took her place. He looked nervous fiddling with his pocket, Athena understood though, his best friend was getting married.
Then Lily stepped through the door frame, her fiery red hair braided across her head. James had a huge grin on his face as she made her way down the aisle. Athena was surprised he didn't have drool coming out of his mouth. But Lily looked fantastic, she was such a beautiful bride. Athena couldn't have been more proud of her friends.
"You may now kiss the bride!"
And then it was official Mr. and Mrs. Potter.
Athena smiled brightly at her two best friends. Seeing them together made her heart swell.
Then Athena felt a soft tap on my shoulder.
"Dance with me?" Sirius smiled, holding out his hand.
Athena nodded at him taking his hand. They danced beside Lily and James and laughed as the boys made jokes about how they finally were all together. Remus came out and joined them, and danced as a group.
Soon the sun began to fade and the wedding was pretty much over.
"Wanna get out of here for a bit?"
"Ill follow you" Athena nodded.
Sirius took her hand and began to walk down the street. Passing street lamps and small lit homes.
"Pretty isn't it?" He watched her.
"Beautiful." Athena smiled.
Eventually Sirius slowed down and Athena realized where we were, the park where the guitar man always was.
And almost on command she heard a gentile guitar melody reach her ears.
The small lights on the trees were shining and Athena was gazing at the beauty around her. She turned around to face Sirius, but he wasn't in sight.
Then Athena looked down.
He was on one knee.
"Athena Marie Clarke, from the day we walked in this park I knew I loved you. Every single thing about you. The way you smile, how snort when you laugh, the small glint in your eyes when you cause trouble. Every last bit of it. When you lost your memories, I still had hope that one day you would return to me. And I promised myself that when you did, I would marry you. That's why I gave you that ring. I would love you for the rest of time and that was my promise to you. I have been thinking of things to say to you in this moment for a while now. But I finally realized it was so simple. Athena, My goddess, I love you more than word could ever say."
Her heart stopped.
"Would you do me the incredible honor of being my wife and partner in crime"
Sirius opened the ring box, revealing a oval shaped diamond with small olive leaves surrounding it.
"Will you marry me?"
So Athena said only word that came to mind.
"Yes"
