AUGUST 20th HAD finally arrived after what felt like an eternity of waiting. It was the final week of summer and Athena was set to spend it at the Potter household. It was admittedly her favorite part of every year and she loved spending time with her friends. Before she could even put her bags down, Athena was bombarded with boys.

"Athena you made it!" James called as he came running up to greet her with a smile and gave her a quick hug.

"It's the best part of every summer, how could I miss it?" Athena laughed while hugging the rest of the boys.

"Wait a sec, someone's missing" The girl looked around and rolled her eyes at the lack of long shaggy hair, "Where's Sirius?"

"Upstairs probably fixing his hair" Remus poked fun as he fell back onto the couch with a grunt.

After about 10 minutes of catching up with the boys, the clomping of feet came down the stairs.

"Goddess!" A look of surprise washed over Sirius's face, "I didn't think you were coming till tomorrow!" He said while quickly fixing his hair and straightening his shirt.

"Well I'm here now so you better come hug me!" Athena laughed and walked over to give him a hug.

"So what trouble can we get ourselves in today?" Athena turned back around, while glancing at the boys.

"Pranks?" Peter suggested.

"Food!" Remus smirked.

"Nooo" Athena groaned, "I think it's time to break out the map"

"Ahh the map" Smirked James while glancing around the room.

"I'm in" Sirius sat up.

After an hour of bickering on what to do with the map the group slowly dozed off one by one. Remus sprawled on the couch, Peter in a ball on the floor and Athena spread across James and Sirius's laps. After a well needed nap the Euphemia and Fleamont returned and fixed dinner for the rag tag group.

"So Athena dear, how is Minerva?" Mrs. Potter asked with a kind smile.

"She's doing quite well, I'll make sure to tell her you say hi," She nodded while shoveling more food in her face along with the boys. James offered his room to Athena for the summer, so after dinner she brought her stuff up and unpacked. She didn't bring much, only enough to last her the week, most of her things were already packed in her trunk for Hogwarts. She was quietly unpacking when the door opened.

"Hey Goddess" Sirius walked into her room casually.

"Sirius" Athena raised an eyebrow and half smiled at the boy who watched her put down the pile of clothes that were in her had.

Sirius walked over and plopped onto the bed next to her with a sigh, pushing his hair back out of his face.

"So when are we going to tell the guys?" He asked looking at her.

Athena turned red and shrugged him off, "Not now Sirius, I don't want to ruin our summer together, it's almost our last."

"Alright" Sirius sighed reluctantly,  "It can wait I guess"

"Thank you" Athena relaxed and laid down against her pillow.

After a few minutes of silence, which was incredibly odd for Sirius, Athena looked over to see him sleeping peacefully at the end of her bed. The sight brought a smile to her face while she covered him with a blanket, doing her best not to wake him.

"Goodnight Padfoot" She whispered before leaning back and falling asleep herself.

Athena woke up rather early the next morning. Sirius was still sleeping soundly, curled in a ball at the end of her bed. She didn't have the heart to wake him, so she slipped out just in time before his snores could reach the hallway. She walked down the stairs to grab a cup of coffee to see James standing there sipping his own.

"Morning Athena."

"Morn-" But she was cut off.

"So, Sirius didn't come back to the room last night." James raised an eyebrow and took another sip.

"Oh please Prongs, he fell asleep on my bed so I let him stay" Athena glared and tried not to laugh with embarrassment, "I was being nice."

"Whatever you say Athena" James nodded suspiciously.

After a while Remus, Sirius and Peter all made their way down to have breakfast. If anything brought the group together, it was definitely food.

"What do you boys wanna do today" Athena asked with a mouth full of eggs.

"Well I need books and stuff for school, so Diagon Alley?" Remus suggested in between bites.

"Sounds good to me," Athena nodded, "You boys in?"

"I'm in" James shrugged.

"Sure, why not." said Sirius, and Peter agreed.

After breakfast they all went back to their respective rooms and got ready. Quickly brushing her hair and throwing on some jeans Athena was done rather quickly even compared to the boys.

"Ready?" James asked.

"Yep" Athena smiled.

"Grab on" Sirius held out his hand full of floo powder, which she took.

"Diagon Alley."

Immediately they arrived in rows of shops. Remus rushed off to the book store and Peter to the sweet shop. That left James, Sirius and Athena by themselves it seemed.

"Where to?"

"Quality Quidditch Supplies?" Athena shrugged, figuring it would work for all three.

"Sounds good" Sirius agreed.

The three walked together to the shop and browsed for a while but ended up not buying anything. Sirius found an ugly sweater for James, unsurprisingly Potter didn't go for it. After a small walk they met back up with Remus who told them Peter's Mum owled him to come home. The group then returned to the house.

We had to go out for a last minute meeting. Pizza is in the freezer just put it into the oven when you're ready.

Athena laughed at the last part while Sirius attempted to hide his blush as he read it himself.

It was August 30th and school would be starting up again soon. Athenas things were all sent to the Potters by Minerva, who would be happily awaiting her arrival at school. The boy had also spent their day packing, James finished first and Sirius took the longest packing all his hair products. Athena was buckling her trunk when a familiar door creek made her turn around.

"Hey Sirius." She didn't pay much mind to his presence.

The long haired boy didn't say anything as he walked over to her. His piercing grey eyes met hers and she felt a blush creeping onto her cheeks as his face neared hers. Her breaths quickened as she looked up at him.

"What are you doing?" She whispered, their faces only inches apart.

"What I've been wanting to do since the day you arrived." He gently cupped her cheek and placed a firmly passionate kiss on her lips.
