Finally got this chapter finished.

Took me a while since I didn't know how to make them react, but I finally got it!

"Okay!" Zero clapped his hands together, having walked back into the room. "It's time I start explaining."

"The Allspark."

The lights turned dim as hologram popped up, showing the Allspark in all its cube glory.

"In many universes, it is an item of unimaginable power. Even for us, its origins are unknown. What we do know is that it holds ancient knowledge from before the Big Bang that started the universes and that it is capable of creating life itself."

"As you know from the beginning, eventually two factions went to war for it. One who believed in peace, while the other believed in ruling the universe with it."

"As you know, an all out war eventually erupted for control of the Allspark."

"The leader of the side that coveted peace had made the difficult choice of ejecting it from their world to ensure its powers were not abused by the side that wanted power."

"And it eventually landed on earth."

Illustrious concluded.

"Yes." Zero nodded. "But what they didn't know is that the Allspark is sentient."

"Se-Sentient!?"

Syuen yelled out in shock.

"What?" Ei raised an eyebrow. "You can't expect a powerful object like the Allspark to not have gained some level of sentience, can you?"

...She got her there.

"The Allspark decided to cut off a portion of its power and transform it into a soul."

Raiden Shogun took over.

"It would be centuries before the soul reincarnated. And we all know who became the Allspark in human form."

"(M/N)."

Andersen nodded his head.

"Correct."

"...Damn."

Ingrid whistled out.

"Talk about overpowered."

"Heh."

Donny chuckled.

"You think he's overpowered? Trust me, some of his counterparts are even MORE overpowered than he is."

"I don't think I want to know."

Lucina groaned.

Her fellow Commanders agreeing.

"Oh!" Zero suddenly realized. "Before we continue to watch, I'm going to shortly teleport the younger members of the audience to another room."

"What's going to happen next is not kid-friendly."

"You have the body of a child, and the personality of one." Zero interrupted Unicorn. "And age cannot really be determined by how old you Shipgirls are."

"Besides, some of you are too innocent to have your minds tainted in that way."

"...Even though you had them watched the aftermath of Marian corruption?"

Crow just stared at him.

"That was a different thing, and they chose to see it through to the end." Zero said. "This part leaves no room for debate."

"Don't want their minds to be traumatized by what happens next."

Whir!

The sound of the transport ship flying into the air with its precious cargo could be heard.

"..."

All was silent.

"Can't blame him." Ingrid said. "After a taxing operation like that as his first mission, even for him it would not be easy to overcome."

Nods were seen at that.

(M/N) opting not to say anything as he ran his hand through Marian hair.

"Aw." A hopeless romantic sighed at that.

"How sweet."

"And entirely against the law."

A government lackey frowned at the affection.

"He should be lucky that no one in his world is seeing that."

"Unless they want to die."

Palpatine deadpanned.

Gaining looks at that.

Scoffing, he continued.

"Do you really think that some pitiful government can control a being like that?"

He asked.

"Well..."

The lackey tried to speak.

"Using his family as blackmail will not work."

Darth Vader interrupted.

"He has already given them extra protection and will not hesitate to easily move them to safety."

"Uh..."

Someone else tried to speak.

"You saw his power." Ivan Ooze spoke up. "And you saw that he unintentionally brought that Rapture back to life."

"And Zero has just explained what the Allspark is."

"But..."

"FOOLISH MORTALS."

Aku voice interrupted this time as the shapeshifting Master of Darkness emerged from Zero shadow.

"Testing him is to invite death." Aku spoke up. "Something that the Ark in that world, learned soon enough."

"Especially since he can just leave and establish a city on the surface and keep the Raptures away from it."

*Shudder*

Aku words and very presence sent chills down their spines.

Making them very afraid for the Central Government of that world.

Said Nikke sleeping peacefully after the hell she went through.

Anis not saying anything, just glad that things ended better than she could ever possibly hoped it would.

"Never thought you could be quiet, Anis."

Neon chirped.

"What was that?!"

'But what is the Commander?' Was the thought that wouldn't leave her.

"Definitely not human."

Someone said.

No human could fight off a rapture, let alone a tyrant class rapture, like he could. Nor possess such armor like he did with weapons that boggled the mind.

'If Command knew of such a person, they would not let a valuable asset like him wonder about freely.'

Anis frowned.

Such a person would be valuable to furthering Mankind resistance against the Raptures.

"And apparently can think logically."

"WHY YOU LITTLE!"

Anis proceeded to choke Neon.

Everyone else ignoring it as they turned to the screen.

While she was deep in thought, Rapi was briefing Shifty on an 'abridged' report of what happened during the battle.

"And that's what happen." Rapi reported in her usual, professional manner. Not even giving a hint that she was lying about the report.

"I'm terrified at how easy it is for to omit such details with precision."

Himeke said.

"I see." Shifty said after a few moments of silence. "That is disturbing, but I'm glad that the Corruption was not to the point where it could not be removed."

'Right...'

Rapi and Anis, who heard part of the conversation thought to themselves.

"Yeah..." Lucina sweatdropped. "Not to where it couldn't be removed."

"And I just realized." Shifty eyes widened. "How the hell did I forget that Nikkes must be memory wiped to ensure the corruption is gone?!"

"...That's a good point."

Someone realized.

That was another thing they had to omit.

After all, (M/N) (L/N) possessing the ability to neutralize the Corruption? He would never be allowed to leave the base.

"That's for sure."

(And we all know what happens when you keep someone who doesn't like being restraint is forced to stay confined)

"The Ark would be no more."

Ether said.

*GULP!*

That was a scary thought.

Whir!

They had finally reached the entrance and were heading underground through an elevator.

"But..." Anis started. "What was the cause of the corruption?"

Unknown to everyone but Zero and the others, Enikk flinched.

"Analysis show that the corruption code implanted into Marian's brain must have been acting as a navigator!"

Shifty started explaining.

"It guides Nikkes to the Blacksmith's location. Giving the Blacksmith a free buffet handed to them on a silver platter."

Rapi frowned at that implication.

'We still haven't found the one responsible for it.'

Rapi frowned.

Though with how busy their lives were, no wonder.

"But" Anis talked again. "She didn't even give a sign or anything hinting to her corruption."

Anis was confused at that.

What kind of corruption was this to act as a sleeper mode kind of thing.

"Probably because of the Commander." Shifty theorized. "Any Nikke's number one priority is protecting their Commander and obeying any orders given."

"That's some strong programming."

Enterprise spoke up.

Bronya shifted.

Remembering the chip that was in her brain.

"Probably the problem only started when she met the Commander. Maybe that's when her priorities got all scrambled up."

(M/N) gave no signs he was listening, but if one paid attention to his face. They could see lines whirring in his eyes like a spiral at what he was hearing.

"He's mad."

Roon frowned.

Then again, considering what just happened. She wouldn't be happy either.

"But what I don't get is how the corruption wasn't worse." Shifty frowned. "She was completely defenseless when in close proximity with the Blacksmith. That means it should have been impossible to come back from."

"Wonder how they're going to explain that."

Mei pondered.

"Perhaps, the corruption code was also designed to paralyze the Nikke it was in." Rapi offered her suggestion. "That way if the Nikke had outlived her usefulness, the Blacksmith would have devoured her without resistance."

"Huh?" An Ark scientist spoke up. "That's a good possibility. Never considered that."

Though it was also a bit worrisome if it was true.

"Hmm..." Shifty pondered that possibility.

"...When did it start?"

Rapi asked.

For that was the most important question at the moment for her: WHEN did it start?

"What?" Shifty was confused.

Good thing she couldn't see them, otherwise she would have noticed Anis 'Are you an idiot?' face.

"HEY!"

Shifty yelled at that.

It was plain out obvious to the group what she was referring to!

"When was she first corrupted?"

Rapi elaborated.

"Hard to tell." Shifty spoke up. "My best bet? Probably during the operation..."

Checking her reports, she clarified.

"Ah, yes!"

"You said she was the one that sabotaged the transport ship, right?"

"Yes, why?"

Shifty asked.

"...She must have already been corrupted at that point."

To those that didn't know and weren't aware of the details of the mission. The implications were not pretty.

"Does this mean?"

Someone started to ask but didn't want to finish.

Rapi frown deepen.

She did not like the implications of those words.

"And that transport ship came from the Ark."

"Unbelievable!"

Eunhwa frowned at that.

Was someone helping the Raptures from inside the Ark then!?

Shifty was shocked, she didn't even consider that possibility!

"Does that mean the Aegis Barriers were broken?"

Anis wondered.

"No." Rapi instantly denied. "The Aegis Barriers are strong. They'd pick up any corruption in an instant."

'If only that was true.'

Enikk thought to herself.

And some people were started to express doubt at that.

(M/N) free hand clenched at what Rapi was implying.

'Do we have a traitor in the Ark?'

"A traitor!?" "Someone is actually helping them!?" "Are we in danger!?"

People were starting to shuffle uncomfortably at was being said.

Andersen eyes narrowed, while his fellow deputies frowned at the implications.

(M/N) thought to himself.

'If so, what do they stand to gain by implanting corruption codes for the Raptures to claim Nikkes?'

(M/N) looked down to see Marian softly smiling at him. Her hand in his free hand, holding it tightly as she simply rested on his lap.

"Good thing he's got people that can ease his destructive tendencies."

QE shook her head.

"I don't want to know what he will do to the traitor once he gets his hands on them."

That's for sure.

Many people were in agreement with her.

Enikk actually trembled at the thought of a pissed off (M/N) seeking vengeance upon her.

"Rapi..." Anis slowly talked. "What are you trying to say?"

"Well..." Rapi uneasily began, as the underground city could be seen in all its glory.

"There is a possibility that someone in the Ark is a traitor."

(M/N) coolly said.

A frown on his face, not liking the implications it brought.

"A trait-!?"

"But this is just a theory." (M/N) waved her off. "We don't yet know if this was just a coincidence. We should chalk it up to just a one-time thing."

Though he may have said that way, it was obvious to them that he had his suspicions as well.

He just didn't want to start going into conspiracy mode over something that might not be true.

"So..." An Ark citizen slowly spoke up. "It's possible that it was just a coincidence then?"

"Maybe." Zero smirked. "But in the Multiverse: 'There are no coincidences, only Hitsuzen. Inevitable.' It might be that a Rapture got lucky, or that there is someone with an unknown goal in mind."

"...Great."

'Besides' He thought to himself. 'There is one other possibility I have not said.'

???

What did he mean by that?

'The possibility that they are here and are the cause of the corruption.'

!?

"Oh, damn!" Anis cursed. "The ones that are after the Allspark! In this world, they could possibly have been the cause!"

"...Right?"

Anis looked at Zero.

"Thankfully no." Zero said. "Even though their technology far outstrips your own, they prefer not to have deal with the earth inhabitants any more than they possibly want to. They can easily hack into your systems without you even realizing. But they have no reason to."

Well, that's a small comfort.

While he knew one side wouldn't do that, there was the more dangerous, power hungry side that wouldn't hesitate to cause anarchy to fulfill their own goals.

And due to being an advanced species with greater technological prowess then the humans...

...Well.

'I just hope I'm wrong.'

He thought to himself as the elevator stopped and they entered the Ark.

"So are we."

Vestal sighed.

Where they found, themselves being escorted to the Med Bay to recover and later on debriefed.

Deputy Chief Office-

"And that concludes my report!"

Shifty reported to the officer in the room.

"Hm?" Andersen blinked.

Why was the screen dark?

"Hey." Signal spoke up. "Why can we barely see anything in there?"

"Shock purposes."

"Huh?"

"I see."

The official hummed in interest at what was just reported.

Tapping a finger on the desk in thought.

"How interesting." The figure mused. "To think that a novice Commander, on his first day, was able to take down a Tyrant Class Rapture like the Blacksmith with just two Nikkes with the third being compromised."

"Yes, though it is worth mentioning that the third Nikke somehow wasn't completely corrupted." Shifty noted. "In such a situation, she should by all rights be unsavable."

"In such a normal situation."

Shifty grumbled.

Annoyed that she was being kept in the dark.

"And yet." The Deputy Chief mused. "She wasn't?"

"No." Shifty reported, still confused on the matter. "Unfortunately, I don't know what happened due to communications being cut off."

"About that." The officer frowned. "Has Intelligence found out the cause?"

"No, Deputy Chief."

Shifty reported.

"Whatever jammed our communications was not human in nature, nor was it possibly from any rapture that possesses radar jamming capabilities."

"As of right now, the origin is alien in nature."

*Snort!*

"That's for sure."

Prinz Eugen laughed.

After all, (M/N) wasn't completely human after all.

"I see..."

"...Anything else?"

"That's about it."

Shifty finished her report.

"Should I send you the combat data?"

"No." Was the answer. "That won't be necessary."

"Weird." Burningum frowned. "We know it's Andersen office. Why can't we see him though?"

"Maybe he looks different?"

Helm suggested.

Zero resisted the urge to snicker.

"...And what of the Nikke known as Marian?"

"She's currently undergoing maintenance." Shifty reported. "They want to be sure there is no traces of corruption still inside her."

"But wouldn't the scans find abnormalities on her thought?"

Admi asked.

"Normally, yes."

Ei answered.

"Her new features are easily passed off as normal.

Huh.

"That will take a while with how thorough they are going to be."

The officer hummed.

Thinking for a bit, a decision was made.

"Shifty."

"Yes, Deputy Chief."

"I would like to meet this new Commander a week from today. That should be enough time for maintenance crew to finish checking up on Marian."

(Pretty sure it was only a day, but for the sake of the story timeline. It will be a week later, since Command is going to want Marian to be thoroughly inspected and free of the corruption code that was implanted in her)

"Copy that, Deputy Chief." Shifty confirmed. "I'll be sure to let the new Commander know."

"Anything else?"

"Ah, yes." Was the answer. "Have the Nikkes that were part of the operation come along as well."

"Ensure that they armed."

"Oi Vey!"

Another Deputy sweatdropped.

Here we go again.

"Roger that, Deputy Chief!"

Shfity ended the call.

The figure was silent before opening a file in the computer.

"Hm?"

A file that held recordings from the security cameras that were active and online during the entire operation.

Where (M/N) could be seen fighting the Blacksmith with strange and unknown weaponry. And later healing Marian with a strange power.

"Eh!?"

Was the expected response.

"The cameras were working!?"

Neon shouted.

"What the hell!?"

Anis shouted in disbelief.

"Well." Zuikaku sweatdropped. "Talk about convenient."

"...Interesting."

"...That's seriously all he has to say?"

Kaga deadpanned.

If she witnessed a human performing such feats she would be in shock!

"Humans are weird."

Sirius (AZ) simply said.

-One week later-

"We're being called in?"

Rapi blinked at that.

"Yes."

(M/N) nodded his head.

"Apparently they want everyone who was in the fight to report to the Deputy Chief office."

"Aw, man!" Anis complained. "Not this again!"

"You really need to let go of your suspicions, Anis."

Rapi sighed.

"Never!"

"What do you mean by that, Anis?"

Marian simply smiled at the poor girl's frustration.

It had been a long week, in more ways than one, for the Nikke.

From being corrupted, to being eaten by the Blacksmith, to almost dying by the Commander who chose a different path.

Not to mention that whatever he did to save her, changed her body in more ways than one.

She felt more human, like her brain wasn't the only thing human.

"I thought she would be completely machine."

Someone blinked at that.

"The Transformers. The ones who fought for the Allspark." Zero explained. "They might be mainly machines, but ultimately, they are autonomous robotic organisms. They can bleed and feel emotions."

"Not something that a mere machine would be capable of doing."

How had she realized this?

...Well, let's just say the Commander helped her with that.

"Um..."

"Later."

Was the response.

"So, few of you managed to defeat a Blacksmith and saved us from losing a valuable resource (Nikke)?"

Anis began speaking in a mocking, high official tone.

"Keep fighting the good fight, my loyal and most subservient of all government lapdogs!"

"Huh." Crow spoke up. "Seems like you're not as naïve and foolish as I thought."

"What was that?"

Anis 'calmly' asked.

...Oookay?

"You really have a low opinion on the higher ups huh?"

(M/N) shook his head.

"It's how it is with them." Anis simply said. "A newbie Commander like yourself, commanding a squad of Nikkes for the first time and succeeding against a Lord? Even veteran Commanders would be hard pressed to be able to take down the lowest of the Lord class raptures."

"But you took down a Blacksmith with just us."

'Or to be more exact, YOU took down the Blacksmith with just you.'

Something Anis and Rapi still did not have an answer for!

"They still haven't found out yet?" Syuen scoffed. "What were they doing all that time?"

The moment they arrived back at the Ark, they had been automatically taken to be repaired and debriefed. The Comman-(M/N), he preferred to be called by his name when off duty, had also been taken to ensure that he wasn't sporting any hidden injuries and then had to file his report of the mission.

"...He's way too friendly with them."

Someone said.

The Shipgirls frowned at that.

What was wrong with being treated as humans?

"You know."

Sovetskaya Belorussiya frowned.

"You shouldn't be so quick to assume we don't have feelings."

"You don't." A hardheaded official coldly said. "You are nothing more than weapons meant to destroy the Raptures (or Sirens in your case) and that's it."

"Nothing more, nothing less."

The Nikkes frowned at that as several people agreed.

"Then death is all that will meet you."

Darth Vader coldly stared them down.

"Do not think for a second that you are in charge. There are ways to get around the safety measures you put in place."

"Why don't you stay in your lane, outsider?" The man scoffed. "You don't belong to our world, and nothing will change once we return."

While the man was rambling on like the fool he is. Darth Vader simply lift his hand in a grip like motion.

"The Nikkes and Shipgirls are still tools in...th...e e...HACK!"

The official soon found himself clawing at his throat as he felt it very hard to breathe.

"I find your lack of intelligence...disturbing."

*GASP!* "Hah...." *WHEEZE!*

This scene continued on for a bit longer until Zero spoke.

"Enough." Zero sighed, though the smile on his face spoke volumes. "Let the idiot go, Vader. We still have a lot to go."

"As you wish."

Darth Vader released his hold on the official. Causing the man to collapse on the floor as everyone stared at him in terror.

An abridged report, but what could they do?

Of course, they had intended to question him when they were finally free.

But...

"Annnnnd, Later!"

Zero quickly sent the child like Shipgirls, and Nikkes away, as well as some of the kids that were present and some of the more innocent/immature ones as well.

And those that were not comfortable with this sort of thing.

"Uh..."

Someone said.

"You'll see soon enough."

Ei smiled.

Terrifying them with that answer.

-Sometime in the past week-

Clack! Clack!

"Still nothing."

(M/N) frowned, leaning back on his chair as he stared at the hologram monitor before him.

It was too risky for him to use the Ark computers to search for any hidden, classified information. So, he opted to use his own personal computer. And with the advanced technology that went into it, he didn't have to worry about being traced.

"But wouldn't that still make it risky?"

Privaty frowned.

"Remember." Emma spoke up. "This computer of his is probably made with advanced technology that would make it much harder to track down."

"Oh, yeah..."

Though he had to be careful, even if he couldn't be traced. If they realized someone was hacking into their systems, peeking into their files. They might take drastic steps to prevent him from finding out anything they didn't want the public to know.

"Still can't believe he's actually hacking into the Government!"

Syuen couldn't believe the sheer audacity of this man!

At the moment, he was more or less confined to his room to recuperate.

But the problem with that was...

HE WAS BORED!

He couldn't go out and explore the city now that he was a Commander. And apparently a soon-to-be hotshot one at that.

"That's for sure."

Lucina grumbled to herself.

'At the very least I was able to shoot a quick text to my parents that I'm fine.'

Even at 21, his parents still worry about him.

...Though (M/N) was almost positive they were more worried about not getting any grandkids more than him dying.

That got a reaction out of everyone.

And got them laughing.

Even though they knew of his unique origins.

And even though he had younger siblings!

They still wanted grandkids from him!

'I'm surprised that being in my presence did not alter their bodies in anyways.'

"Oh?"

After all, the All-Spark power was not something that one could remain in the presence of and not be affected in any way possible.

'Unless they're hiding something from me.'

"Probably."

Theresa (HI3) crossed her arms at that.

...Ah, well. If they don't want to say anything, then that's fine with him.

Knock! Knock!

"Commander?"

Marian voice snapped the male out of his thoughts as he turned to the door.

"Permission to enter?"

"Granted."

(M/N) simply said as the door opened and in step Marian.

"Commander." The Nikke softly spoke. "How are you doing?"

"I should be the one asking that question." (M/N) retorted, crossing his arms in amusement. "How are you doing?"

"Apparently much better."

"After all, with what you've been through. It can't have been a pleasant experience."

"I'm...doing better than expected." Marian confessed. "The scientists and engineers have confirmed for the most part that the corruption is gone. But they want to continue running some more tests and scans to try to see HOW it got into my system even though I hadn't encountered the Raptures before the mission."

"I see..."

(M/N) quietly said.

"Have they found anything?"

???

'That wasn't there before?'

Was the unspoken question between the two.

"Ah..."

"Nothing."

Marian confirmed.

Which was a little confusing to her.

Shouldn't the scans have picked up on her new features?

"Guess her new features have some kind of adaptability function to conceal themselves from being detected."

Exia hummed.

"Can't tell if that's good or bad."

(M/N) frowned.

It was only until they returned and were escorted that he realized that it was highly possible that Marian new Cybertronian features might be discovered.

But if Marian was saying that the scans weren't picking them up.

Odds are that she either A) did not have extra features (Though (M/N) doubt it). Or B) the changes were subtle, and the scans didn't detect any anomalies during the procedure.

Or C) They did find something but didn't say anything to her.

'A problem for another day, I suppose.'

"Kind of easygoing."

Jackal spoke up.

(M/N) thought to himself as he turned to the Nikke.

"Did you needed something else?"

"...Commander."

"...Thank you."

(M/N) blinked in surprise, before realizing what she was alluding to.

"You're welcome."

Was all he said, as he swiped his monitor off.

And got up.

Thump!

That sound startled people."

"Wha!?"

"Here we go."

Zero smirked.

Time to traumatize some idiots.

Only for Marian to press herself against him.

(M/N) got a little flustered at the Nikke bold action.

Taihou put a hand to her mouth.

The Shipgirl giggled, scaring many people with her reaction.

"Commander." Marian buried her face against his chest. Enjoying his warmth and scent as it brought a sense of peace and comfort.

"Can't tell if that's weird or wholesome."

Someone said.

"I want to thank you in a more 'personal' way."

Only an idiot would not know what she meant.

"But..." (M/N) was slightly unsure, due to the 'unique' features of the Nikkes. "How would?"

"He's not even trying to stop her!?"

Anis shouted.

"He really is a pervert!"

Zero and the others silently laughed at that.

Boy was she in for a surprise when she hears her counterpart thoughts.

"Whatever you did to me." Marian spoke up, looking up at him. "Change me in more ways than one. The scans might not have picked it up, but ever since that day my body has felt more human after what happened."

"..."

...Oh.

"I should know, after all it is my own body. But I have felt less of a machine and more of an actual person. And my body is giving me sensations that I have never felt before. I feel hot."

'Talk about paying for the consequences of your actions.'

(M/N) thought amused to himself.

This was not what he intended to happen, but he had been too emotionally distressed that he didn't care about the consequences if he could save those he cared for.

'Seems like I should take responsibility for my actions.'

"Seriously!?"

Many people shouted.

Though some were very interested in what was going to happen next.

With that thought, he leaned down as Marian stood on her toes.

And their lips made contact.

"Ah!" Marian moans were muffled as they kissed.

Before pulling away for some air.

He was not expecting Marian lips to be as soft as they felt, but hey, he wasn't complaining.

"That's what he's focused on?"

A Commander sweatdropped.

"Ah...Com-Commander..." Marian moaned as (M/N) started feeling her up.
