When Astraea woke up before everyone else she was beyond confused. She had a very bad aching in her mouth and she felt extemely dizzy. Her dress had blood on it and Kol was beside her and she looked for her baby. Her eyes adjusted fast to the room. And she got up wobbly.

She took a few steps before she opened the door to wherever she was. She stepped out into the sun which was very bright and hurt her eyes. She didn't get far before Mikael pushes her back in.

"You need to finish your transition child." He told her holding a girl to her. She moved back and she furrowed her brow when she heard the heartbeat. "Drink." He shoved her head on to the girls wrist where she drank the blood up completing her transition first.

She pushed herself away when she felt full. But still didn't understand. He told her to sit and stay like she was some dog which she didn't like at all but complied nonetheless.

"Where's my daughter? What happened? What did you do to me? How am I alive?" She asked. She now realized that she can't feel her magic anymore she doesn't feel nature or the power she had and it was all worrying her she felt like a part of her died.

"You daughter is with Esther. You were killed along with the rest of my kids. You were turned into a vampire. And that's how you are alive." He said simply answering her questions.

"I want to see my daughter." She demanded.

"There is a problem with that. You see you might not be able to control yourself around her quite yet. Then again you did pull yourself away from this girl. But you still must wait." She huffed and laid down on the bed. She wanted to feel life again feel the beauties of nature but all she felt was dead.

Not long after he force fed the rest of his children explaining to them what's happening. Mikeal took Astraea keeping an eye on her to make sure she is fine around everyobody. He thought she was doing fine enough to see her daughter.

Kol wanted to come as well but Mikael explained to him the danger and how Astraea could control better. He gave in...eventually but was very sad about it.

When Mikael got home with the young vampire she could hear her babies screams. Like is was on instinct she vamped to the room in worry. Esther was holding her trying to calm her down but was failing miserably.

"Give her." Astraea demanded scaring Esther.

"Give her the child Esther." Mikael said harshly from behind Astraea. Hesitant to do so she gave her the baby and the sobs coming from the baby stopped much to the relief of Astraea's very sensitive ears.

"Leave. I can do this on my own." They left the room and she held her daughter rocking her back and fourth calming both of them down. "I'm so glad your ok babygirl."

Astraea smiled softly at the baby with cute doe brown eyes and golden brown hair.

Surprising Esther she had not tried to attack her or the baby. She was very calm and acted as if she was not just turned into a immortal.

When it was time she went back she could not bring the child with her. Since it was dark the children had fled to feed. Esther was shocked at how bad her kids were and decided to follow Astraea to see how exactly she had been so good. When Astraea found a bad man who just so happened to try to take advantage of a village girl she used her new found vamp power.

She took the guy off the girl bringing him deep into the woods and just like instinct compelled the man. "Do not scream to loud. And do not try to harm girls ever again after this. Understand me?" She asked.

The guy repeated after her which she found odd but used it to her advantage. She drank from his wrist and when she heard his slow heartbeat she stopped and let him go on his way, never to hurt a female again.

She was good on the blood and walked out finding Esther. "I don't understand how but you have showed great restraint child." She said knowing what her children were up to at this moment.

She nodded and continued walking. When she heard a scream she vamp sped to see a girl in Kol's grip. She sped over to him throwing him off. "Patch up your wound. Don't remember this and say you got bit by a rabid dog." The girl repeated it and left holding her neck.

Astraea turned to Kol who had blood running down his mouth. "You could have killed her Kol! What do you think your doing?" She asked as her very prominent blue eyes showed in the night.

"I-I don't know. I'm just so hungry." She nodded remembering that this is harder for them then her for some reason. She didn't know any better so she offered her wrist.

"Drink from me." She said.

"Really?"

"Yes. I can't die so just drink from me." Of course blood sharing was a very intimate thing but who knew at this point in time?

He vamped out and instead of going to the wrist he pushed it down and kissed her neck before sinking his fangs in. She closed her eyes thinking it would hurt but it didn't. She opened her eyes, the blue color now gone and back to the brown eyes. She grabbed his hair and shutting her eyes again moaning at the feeling of him drinking from her.

A very odd feeling it was but it felt very good. When she knew he had enough she pushed him back away from her neck. She smiled at him and the veins went away along with the red in his eyes. She kissed him while licking off the blood from his mouth.

"Unless someone is being hurt you Drink from me. Got it?"

"Yes, Mrs. Mikaelson." She hugged him inhaling his scent.

"The sooner you get this in control the sooner you can see our child." She said still hugging him.

"We have a lot of work to do then."

They retreated to their own home to get out of the burning sun when it came up. They would burn badly when the sun touched any part of them and Esther was trying to find a way to free them from the suns harm.

Astraea visited her daughter nightly for three weeks until she received a lapis lazuli ring.

Once she got Kol used to drinking only her blood and others on occasion he was ready to see his daughter. He was very happy to finally see his daughter he missed holding her and kissing her forehead.

Astraea taught the others to control themselves but of course they couldn't feed from her or each other so she showed them how to use compulsion correctly and teach them when to let go. They had killed 5-15 people each before they got the hang of it.

All thanks to Astraea they learned some contol. Along the way Astraea learned vampire blood heals she cut herself when she tripped but it healed quickly. She used that to show them after compelling to heal them.

Snatch. Eat. Erase. Heal.

When Astraea and Kol made it to the home Aleah was in, Astraea held his hand to calm him down.

"You can do this. Trust yourself breathe then control the urge think about your love for our daughter." She walked into Aleah's room and picked her up looking at Kol. The little girl looked at her father and smiled toothlessly, which made the hunger go away and he softened at the sight of his daughter and wife. Astraea noticed the change and handed Aleah to Kol.

"This isn't so bad." He said happily.

"I told you. I'm a great teacher aren't I?" She said smugly.

"A very sexy one." Kol winked before looking back at his daughter. "Daddy missed you sweetheart." He kissed her forehead.

"Back together. Finally." Astraea said smiling widely at her family.
