Deep inside the Earth there was a place no one not even legends told of. A place right snuggled up into the Earth's heart. This place was the devils pocket. A place where the devil hides his most treasured things. Right in there lives a little girl, all alone. Her legs bound by chains of molten lava. Her body bruised and battered, containing a story not yet told. Her name unknown to the world above, her life lived in the unknown. Her hair flowed down her back, bright red and her skin as pale as snow despite the bruises. Her eyes were as yellow as gold but her smile was forever tainted by the abuse she received.

Who was this girl? The daughter of Lucifer or course. Carey Black was the name she was given by her human mother. Her mother has been just beautiful, but her heart couldn't take the abuse of the devil himself. The day she had died had been the darkest of Carey's short life because it left her all alone to her fathers abuse.

The half demon was no fool, she knew what her father was as well as what he wanted her too be. She defied him every chance she got. As well she would read everything she could get her hands on and dreamed of seeing the outside world. It had to be better then the small confined cave she was held in.

As she grew the cage her father kept her in only became smaller. Too her dismay he had no plans of every letting her out unless she submitted to his every wish. So she bided her time, reading and writing constantly and when no one was looking practicing her magic.

By the time she was eighteen thousand years old she had figured out how to break the chains that bound her. So that's exactly what she did, she broke the chains and dropped down into the pool of lava below. It stung and burned her skin but her demon skin was tough and she swam too the edge. Pulling herself out her clothes had completely dissolved, she used her magic too heal her wounds and wakes until she found a portal too the outside.

"CAREY BLACK DON'T YOU LEAVE ME!" Boomed the voice of her father.

She simply shook her head. There was no way he was ever going to hold her captive ever again. She stepped into the portal and that is where our story begins.
