3rd POV
Ruby and her team ran into the city to go evacuate civilians before more perish from the beast.
Ruby: Weiss, Blake, you take the east side and we'll take the West
Blake: you got it
The two went East while Ruby and Yang went to the west
Yang: why is a monster attacking? Not only that, why isn't it Grimm?
Ruby: Yang I don't know, but we need to evacuate before more people die.
Ruby darted, basically bouncing off each door to get everyone to leave.
Yang: damn she moves fast
Ruby kept darting, not knowing how fast she was moving and how close to the beast she was until she finally stopped. It was coming with people running

She pulled it her scythe and readied it, she then launched herself to hit it, only to be knocked back by its massive head. She landed on her back and looked up as the beast stopped a few feet from her. Ruby got up and looked at it, it was doing the same to Ruby. It stood up straight and shook its nubs before landing flat, making a small plume of dirt
Ironwood was watching everything from the base
Winter: what's happening?
The creature picked itself up a little and started moving its head, it's tail grew a little longer and hitting one of the buildings. It's foot pressed more into the ground due to the increase in weight. It finally started growing tiny t-Rex arms and its yellow skin went from yellow to red. It then double in size and roared into the sky.
Beast: Skreeeeeeeeeeeeonk

Ironwood: Damn! Open fire!
Soldier: sir, there's a civilian in the area!
Ruby looked up at the creature as it bent down to look at her. It let off a low growl before hearing the jets flying. They started firing, but the beast covered Ruby from the missiles. It let out a massive roar in pain. Massive amounts of heat started coming out of his back.

It scurried Into the water, instantly steam came plumed from its back until it finally submerged.
Ruby: what.....happened?
Yang: Ruby!! Are you okay? I saw the jets fly by and I got worried! The monster! Did you see it?
Ruby: Yang....call me crazy but I think it protected me
Yang: you're crazy
Weiss and Blake ran over
Weiss: what happened? One second we see something atleast 25 meters, next it disappears
Yang: Ruby claims it protected her
Ruby: it transformed into that red monster, blocked the missiles from the jets and then went into the ocean
Blake: what could that thing be?
In the office Ironwood slammed his fist on the desk
Ironwood: son of a bitch!
Winter: it took missiles?!
Ironwood: I should've known that the missiles wouldn't work, Godzilla, much different then 25 years ago but still as resilient as ever, get every sub and every boat we have out there, the mission is search and destroy.
Winter: sir with all do respect, shouldn't we strengthen the border so we don't have another attack or less casualties
Ironwood: we are killing that thing Winter, come hell or high water
Ruby POV
We made it back to the dorm, waiting inside was Ozpin and Glynda
Glynda: what the hell were you girls thinking?
Me: we wanted to help
Glynda: you have no idea what you were up against
Ozpin: Glynda please, now ladies I'll agree that you had no idea what you were up against, it was an incredibly brave effort on all your parts
Yang: anytime
Ozpin: all of you sit down, I'll tell you what that thing is
Me: you know what it is?
Ozpin: I do, I helped Ironwood kill it, or so it seemed long ago.
Glynda: back when I was dating Ironwood
Yang: oooooooooooh
Ozpin: tell me, have any of you heard of an oxygen destroyer?
Me: I don't think any of us have
Weiss: I've always been with Atlas, I've never heard of it until now
Ozpin: you can consider it to be a weapon of Mass Destruction, it was used to "kill" Godzilla 25 years ago, the radiation levels stabilized in the ocean since then but still, t doesn't explain
Blake: Godzilla?
Ozpin: Ironwood was holding a dying man in his arms, his final words were "Godzilla....there's no stopping it"
Me: Professor Ozpin, I don't mean to interject but I think this "Godzilla" protected me
Glynda: what!?
