Road to Emelka

An old Enutrof grumbled annoyed after two woman rode off, leaving him behind and not even giving a Kama for his efforts and thinking through his proposition. He turned, hearing another set of footsteps approaching and saw one of the tallest humanoids he ever faced, he barely reached below his chest, except he couldn't really tell since the newly arrived stranger had a cloak that obstructed him from view.

He, however, was already thinking about Kamas as he waited untill the stranger stood right in front of him and from the darkness under the hood a pair of glowing eyes stared at the Enutrof. What made him even more intimidating was a giant blade he had leaninig against his shoulder.

Ruel : I am Ruel Stroud, at your service!

??? : What do you want from me, Enutrof?

Ruel : Ah, I have a deal for you! I can lead you to nearby village AND include a good meal into a price of merely five Kamas!

??? : Hm.

After a bit of shuffling an arm covered in blue armor reached from under the dark veil and the steel gauntlet opened allowing five coins to fall right into Ruel's hands. The old Enutrof cackled happily and slip Kamas into his bag before turning to stranger with a deep bow and starting to walk.

Ruel : What brings you all the way out here, stranger?

??? : I travel the world seeking combat or a cause that would fit my code.

Ruel : Are you a knight perhaps?

??? : A rogue one.

After that silence ensued as Ruel tried to somehow crack the stranger and find out about him as much as he could. Of course, he couldn't be COMPLETELY evil, after all he did give him money, already making his day brighter.

However, during their travel he armed himself with his trusty shovel and scared away a group of birds while picking up a single, sparkling Kama off the ground.

Ruel : Damn birds, even they're trying to get rich!

??? : I doubt they have much use of the coins, if anything they like the sparkle of it... Like your entire race.

Ruel : Hey! ...I mean you're right, we like how it looks and we hate spending it.

??? : Best be on our way, I hunger for some proper meal.

Ruel : It's just a bit away!

They once again returned to their walk as Ruel was happy with his single Kama he got off of scaring birds while the stranger behind him enjoyed the calm walk because it wouldn't last for much longer...

Because upon entering the village everyone's eyes were upon the new arrivals, especially the giant and his blade. Children quickly followed after them, observing a giant as he strolled through their village towards the tavern that Enutrof mentioned. He had to bow down to enter but he was pleasently surprised.

Just a few people enjoying their meals as Ruel was already talking to the owner, no sign of any conflict so he walked over to the bar and propped his blade against it while taking a sit at one of the stools, catching the owner's attention and causing him to look the stranger up and down before smiling.

Alibert : Hello, I'm Alibert, the owner of this inn and mayor of Emelka! How can I help you friend?

??? : You should be careful who're calling a friend... I wish for a meal, the largest you have.

Alibert : Of course! Besides, no need to stress, you're among friends here. Relax.

He walked off for a bit, telling an order to someone in the kitchen before returning and engaging in a small talk with the stranger, asking about bounties and what's going on in the grand old world. They talk was cut short when a child's voice yelled out 'Watch out!' and suddenly dish were flying everywhere, landing in front of people except for Ruel's whose got his directly planted right into his face.

With a grunt a giant plate with food dropped out from a portal and slammed on top of the counter in front of the stranger who looked at the food and reached under his hood... That is until something destoyed the wall of the inn, causing all patrons to run away.

Grey Creature : That nice! That shiny!

Eye : Dumb creature! Leave those alone! Kill the people! Crush them!

The stranger was peacefully eating his meal, understurbied by the chaos around him and others didn't even notice he placed he helmet to the side. When they were concentrating on the weird grey creature none of them even saw his face while he simply enjoyed his food.

Yugo : If you think I'll clean it up after you, you're dreaming!

This here decleration was soon followed by a fight in the inn, destroying even more furnitures and plates as both Alibert and Ruel joined the fight as well but didn't quite fought back against the creature and it managed to fight them off. The stranger finished his meal and put his helmet back on just as Alibert flew across the bar and swiped the plate from right under his nose before crushing to the ground.

The creature walked over to the stranger and stared at the large blade his side before cackling happily and reaching for it just for a gauntlet to grab it's wrist.

??? : Do not touch what's not yours, Shushu.

Eye : Smash him, you idiot! Then we'll use his sword to chop others to bits!

There was, however, a certain problem for possessed Iop as it couldn't rip it's arm out of the stranger's grip so it grabbed his hood and tried to smash his head onto the bar. Just as the creature's grasp locked onto the cloth, the stranger quickly turned and used a large gauntlet to punch the Shushu right in the face, sending it flying through a wall outside making everyone else stare at the figure in shock...

However, since the creature still had ahold of his robe it flew away in the wind when the strength of the punch stubbed it.

Knight : You should not have crossed me.

Yugo : Woooow!

Knight : Kid, rip that eye off when I'll grab it.

Yugo : Huh?

Just then the grey figure returned, charging right through the cloud of dust in the place of the destroyed wall and went straight for the knight. He grabbed the possessed Iop in a hold and Yugo used her teleports to drop right on top of it's head and rip off the eye in the middle of it's forehead. With a bright flash the grey creature was replaced with an Iop...

Knight : Ha ha! That's a welcome surprise, wish it happened more often when I defeat a monster!

Yugo : Haha! Looks like she shrunk in the wash!

The eye in Yugo's hand turned into a small sword with eye in it's handle and the kid dropped it as the Iop looked around herself.

Iop : I have to warn you about-

And just like that she fell face first into the knight's chest who grabbed her by the shoulder so she won't just drop onto the floor. He looked at two Enutrofs and Yugo.

Knight : What do we do with her?

Alibert : Oh, here use this key to put her in a room.

He walked off with the Iop and... missed a very important talk that Alibert had with Yugo, explaining that he isn't really his son and how he got him along with his weird powers. Unknown to the people in the inn someone was watching, someone very interested in the child's powers...
