..2014...

The large bright screen displays a white image with a orange bar at the top. In the orange bar is a logo highlighted in white reading 'Wattpad' as does the tab logo at the left corner of the screen. The page is on rows and rows of books with the covers beside them including a blurb underneath the date/pages it has/and number of parts. Beneath these various books is 'reads','votes',and 'comments' in different shades of red. Above the specific line of words about the books contents are titles.

"So is this what you were talking about?" I ask, looking over my shoulder.

No Bruce in sight.

Bruce had apparently left while I searched for this realm on a machine.

Bruce called it 'Wattpad' and I called it 'Wattpadheim'.

I turn my head back towards the machine then type my name into the long white bar.

I hit enter.

10 stories pop up; 2 stories with Loki's name in the title and 8 stories about my daughter. I stare at the screen perplexed. Since when did I have a daughter?, I thought, Why are random mortals I never met writing about a child who never exists? There are various boxes above the stories right beside a bold word reading 'category'. Below the word 'category' read 'tags'. Beside the word category is a rather short list.

Mainly it is: Action,Romance, and Fan Fiction.

The second story featuring Loki's name had the title 'Brothers' with my name right beside his. I put the cursor on the search engine then put in my brother's name. I skim through the stories until one tiny error popped up in the blurb. One of Wattpadheim's residents spelled 'Heimdall' as 'Heimdoll'. I frown in disgust at the thought of a doll gate keeper.

"That is perhaps the worst error I have ever come across," I said.

Well, I thought, Loki can read such errors and point them out. When reading someone's writing I usually find it difficult to bring up the fact they spelled a word wrong unless it is for mission related tasks. Now I find it easier to point it out in a time like that. Loki, on the other hand, goes ahead and points it out without thinking about their feels. Loki is a avid reader; books and new Midgardian machinery.

I go through the clubs.

Eventually I realized I was clicking on random links that were above square boxes showing unique images belonging to Wattpadians and landed on a profile page. Some of the unique images had Loki on them and some of the Wattpadians names had Loki's name in them. In order alongside the main image is; Location,Birthday, how long they have been a resident, how many votes they had recieved, and a 'url' to their profile page. The exact profile page I am on this machine. Many of the profile pages had unique backgrounds—which some of them disgusted me—.

Perhaps Loki has the stomach to use Wattpadheim.

I then push down the power button.

Tony lately has been instructing me not to use my hammer to turn the machine off as the machines have getting pretty 'expensive'. Hah, coming from the mortal who replaces his coffee machine every two weeks! I close the lid to the machine after the screen had turned black. I can tell it is dark out from the windows because of all that browsing on this machine. I decided to retire to my quarters and tell Loki about this realm in the morning.

...12:47 PM..

"Loki,Loki,Loki!"

"What?" Loki said. "I am busy here." He had a red book in his hands leaning against a counter. "I am reading InkHeart. Do you know how long this book is?" Loki looks up from the book with a annoyed frown. "Did you just come to say 'Hi', again? Or is this 'urgency' really an urgency?"

"I just discovered a lower hidden realm called Wattpadheim," I said.

Loki rolls an eye shaking his head then looks back down towards the book.

"I am not falling for your hidden realm act, again," Loki said.

"This time it is real," I said. "I saw it for myself. It has books!"

"Sounds like it is infested by rats lurking in the shadows," Loki said. "Or electrical term for electricity striking rats all over the place."

Now, I honestly thought that Loki wouldn't go to Wattpadheim because of that reply.

But as it turned out I was wrong.

...Outside...During a Christmas party...8:48 PM..

Fast forward to December 5th, which is now today in terms of setting. Bruce has told me a story's setting can change if it were hands of a narrator capable of transitioning the scenery before the reader's eyes. Five months since I grabbed Loki out of Wattpadheim and back to 'reality' to face a mess he made earlier. Now I hadn't known of the ugly mess before suggesting Wattpadheim to Loki in the first place.

I can count on seeing Loki, these days, to be clicking on a button to a mobile device or a computer in his perimeter nearby. He didn't read much after coming back from Wattpadheim. Here, let me give one scenario that happened a couple months ago when there was an issue by an Asgardian lady using Midgardian and Asgardian technology to open a portal into some different time. She had something else I cannot quite remember.

"Going back to the moment of Adam's death is not going to fix your heartbreak, Rose," Loki said. "In fact, it won't help you at all."

I was on the ground clenching at my aching stomach.

Rose turns towards Loki in front of the portal with a sad look.

"I don't expect you to be pleased," Rose said. "You know how it feels not ever being able to make amends with some one you care? Time that by a thousand."

"There are other better ways than this!" Loki said.

Rose shook her head, lightly.

"No," Rose said. "I only expect you to understand," She had a small smile. "Time is short and we don't have much to use," Her voice lowered. "Goodbye."

Rose faced toward the portal then walked right in.

Now let's return to present time.

Loki is leaning his elbows on the rail holding a steaming coffee cup in the cold. Snow flakes are falling around him. Rose had gone back in time to the moment where her beloved Adam had been in when Loki's mess finally came up and later that day we had discovered her remains near the place Adam's body had been found prior. Loki is staring off into space contemplating about something I am not really aware of.

"Is Loki staring off into oblivion again?" Tony asks.

"Yes," I said.

"He has been doing that for months," Tony said. "Asides to breaking the computer keyboard every 3 weeks."

"He will snap out of it," I said

"Like right now?" Tony asks.

"Not this instant," I said, standing by the doors to the outside balcony structure.

The cold didn't really bother Loki.

"And to think I was kind of hoping Loki would get into the party then end up under the mistletoe with Steve," Tony said, then he turns away and walks into the Christmas celebrating crowd.

I look back towards Loki to see he hadn't moved except for taking a sip out of the warm mug.

I really do hope I am right.

I turn away then enter the lively Christmas Party.

The End.
