"My king, Your wife asks to see you."
"Tell her I'm busy but will join her in our chambers later."
"Yes my lord."

Athena sighed, it was almost midnight and he was still working. She slowly got up out of bed and put her white robe on over her short green nightdress.

It was one of Loki's favorites due to its mischievous green, but she loved it because every time she wore it she got what she wanted. Athena walked out of their room and down to his office. As she walked in his eyes where glued to papers.
"Loki?"
His head snapped up at the sound of his wife's voice.
"Yes my.... What are you wearing?"
She smirked knowing her little trick worked.
"Loki when are you coming to bed it's almost one in the morning."
"It is? I must have lost track of the time. About five more minutes and I will be there."
Athena slowly walked behind his chair and put her hands gently on his tense shoulders.
"Tonight is a very special night my love."
"What's tonight?"
"It's our 3 year anniversary."
He put his head in his hands.
"It must have slipped my mind I'm so terribly sorry my love."
"Shh it's alright you have been busy. But there is a way for you to make it up to me."
"What my dear?"
"Stop working and come to bed I need to tell you something."
He got up and turned around. Athena smiled and played with his hair. He kissed her softly then walked with her to their room.
"What did you need to tell me my love?"
"Loki, I'm pregnant."
"What?"
"Loki you are going to be a father."
"Me a father? That's wonderful!"
He said hugging Athena tightly and kissing her head. He let go of her then placed his hand on her stomach.
"I promise to love you my dear child, you will not be forgotten as I was. You will be a king one day."
