After that night, Firebreak woke up from a dream. He thought he died, but he didn't. He sit up and look at his arms and body - his scarred and burnt body. He felt something tucked his arm and to his surprised it is Slayer, without her armor and with scars all over her body. He move his arm away and gently placed the blanket onto her. He sit on the bed and look at his gear. "I see your awake", a womanly voice echoed the room as Firebreak turned his head towards the sound.It was the Sword-maiden, without her blindfold.

Lizardman: We should probably go ahead and investigate the subterranean depths to find the Goblins.

Priestess: We promise that after a big Adventure we would all eat together.

Timeskip

The Adventurers ate at a nearby restaurant for breakfast. They were having a lovely time there and soon half of the party go to investigate while the remaining 3 (Slayer, Firebreak and Priestess) stayed behind to rest up their wounds.

As they were walking, Slayer is thinking about repairing the damaged armor as well as getting a new sword. Priestess and Firebreak followed the woman to the Blacksmith, where they too need repairing their armor. Firebreak does have less armor than Slayer, but it's because he doesn't need much.

In the evening, they were walking by till they heard children screaming to a bell sound. Multiple kids ran up to the stall that just appeared by, handing out a desert to them.

"Why are the kids going there", Priestess ask.

"Something sweet...", Firebreak answered. "... And the kids love it", Slayer finishes.

Priestess ask them, "Can I", then Firebreak responded with a motion to go there. Priestess jumps in excitement as she ran to there to the stall, while Slayer and Firebreak walk up to her.

Slayer: You know, you don't have to attack the Champion with me, right?

Firebreak: Those screams ignited a forgotten memory, one I wish it would have been kept locked away.

Slayer: Yet, those same memories define who you are today.

Firebreak: Right. You know, you're not as what people has said.

Slayer: Oh? What do they call you back then? Before you came to our lands.

Firebreak: Some monster. To the enemies its that, to my allies - they just think their lucky I'm on their side.

They reach the stand and the Priestess ordered for one.

Firebreak and Slayer look to each other before looking back at the Stall Owner. Firebreak gave 2 gold to the Stall Owner, implying that he and Slayer would like to have a treat. They all day on a bench as they watch the sun and the horizon.

Priestess: [takes a bite] *gasp* It's amazing!

Slayer: Is it?

Priestess: It is!

Firebreak: Hmm.

Priestess: How is it?

Firebreak: [Thumb up]

Slayer: It's good.

Firebreak: [Look to Priestess] Remember, when you ask us, why we want to become Adventurers?

Priestess: I did.

Firebreak: I am curious to know, Why you want to become an adventure yourself?

Priestess: Well, you see... when I was small, I had no family. As far as I could remember, Mother Supreme found me as an orphan years ago. She then indoctrinated me into believing in the supreme god as I grew. As time passes, I realized that I could do something more to prevent what happened to me onto others. So by making myself as an adventurer, I may be able to help people in need outside the town. Besides, not every adventure needs to have something to be killed.

Firebreak: I see.

Priestess: [Eats cherry] Like I said, I want to do, whatever I feel like it.

Slayer/Firebreak: Did you?

Priestess: Yes!

Slayer/Firebreak: Sorry.

Priestess: Honestly, you two are hopeless.

The three finished their ice-cream and gets off the bench. Priestess suggested on checking with their friends, but it is interupted by the arrival of Spearman and Witch.

Spearman dropped a bag filled with flour and complain of the distance and that he is not a delivery man. Slayer said that she found that the grains are not in good quality within Water town. Witch makes a comment about the three's positions as if they were a family, albeit only parents wore something to hide their faces.

They took the bag and went to were their friends were waiting: at the entrance of the sewers. Slayer brought the bag of flour as they all entered the sewers.

Elf: Why did you bring a bag of flour?

Slayer: What else? To kill Goblins.

Firebreak: At this point, I would expect anything you used is to kill Goblins when we're out.

Everyone, but Slayer and Firebreak, nods their heads in agreement.

They all soon reach an Altar that is guarded by an unknown entity. The unknown entity is a giant, floating eye-ball, with tentacles sprouting from the sides of its head.

Firebreak: Now that is one Ugly looking motherfucker.

Lizardman: It's a demonic entity at worse and it seems to only be attracted by sight.

Lizardman throws some rocks to one part and the creature fires a team that melted a portion of the column and floor into molten magma.

Lizardman: As you can see, the creature can sense our movements.

Priestess: I could try blinding it.

Priestess went forward to attempt a spell, but the creature unleashed a blinding light. This causes Firebreak to drag her out of the doorway, fearing the beam might hit her. The creature didn't fire a beam. Priestess seems fine, hut realises she can't produce a Miracle. Lizardman assures her that the effect is only temporary.

Dwarf: Damn, that creature have <DISPELL>.

Slayer: That could be a problem.

Elf: [Turn to Firebreak] What about that canister of yours

Firebreak: We can't use my Reactor Core, unless you want to end up as a corpse.

Elf: Great, what now!

Slayer: I got an Idea. This place is far from the town, right?

Firebreak: If you meant not under the water, far from Town.

The plan was executed. Elf ran into the chamber with the Creature tracking her and fires its beam. Elf does her best to stall the creature with Dwarf casting <STUPUR> upon the creature. It dazes in the air as the eyes and tentacles are unaware of the others presence. Slayer took the opportunity to open the bag, filling the room with fined, grained Flour. The three head out of the chambers as Firebreak readied a Thermite to throw into the chamber.

Firebreak: [To Priestess] [Shows her the Thermite] As soon as I throw this, 5 seconds to create the barrier.

Priestess: Right.

Firebreak: If you messed up, but I know you won't, we would all die.

Priestess: Here goes nothing.

Priestess readied herself to cast <PROTECTION> as soon as Firebreak throws a Thermite into the Chambers. Priestess prayed the Miracle as fast as she could and the barrier is up. Slayer turn to the others, ordered them to cover their ears and open their mouths (A/n: Honestly, I don't get why would they want/need to open their mouths in an event of an explosion)
