The Priestess is having a bath at the Temple and it's just her. She thought they would come to take a shower together, but...

Moments ago...

Elf: No way. It's like the elements of wind, fire and water all together. That really makes me uncomfortable. Sorry.

Dwarf: This Dwarf is dying for a feast. Scaly?

Lizardman: While I do think it would be nice, my culture isn't known of taking a bath to say.

Priestess: Slayer-san?

Slayer: I have to mail something to the Guild. Firebreak?

Firebreak: Sorry. It's just that, I take a shower alone as it's a time of privacy.

Slayer: Oh Firebreak, can you come here for a bit?

Firebreak: What is it? *Moves closer*

Slayer: *whispers something in his ear*

Firebreak: Hmm, okay. I'll go now, see you all at the Temple. *Walks away*

Now...

And now she's all alone inside the massive bath house. That's when someone unexpectedly entered buck naked, it's the Sword-maiden with only her blindfold on. The Priestess is immediately startled by the Archbishop's arrival and beautiful body.

The Sword-maiden sat down next to the Priestess, who felt unease but honored by her being close to the Woman that defeated the demon-lord a decade ago. The Archbishop washed herself with the warm water, revealing her scars from 10 years ago.

Sword-maiden: What's wrong?

Priestess: uhhh, your scars.

Sword-maiden: Oh these. These are the cost of a mistake I've made. It's funny it's been 10 years ago since.

Priestess: I'm deeply sorry for you.

Sword-maiden: *chuckles* Oh your too kind, young one. People would say "Sorry for asking". These eyes have seen things you wouldn't even imagine.

Priestess: Really?

Sword-maiden: Yes. I must say this, your friend, what was he called?

Priestess: Firebreak?

Sword-maiden: Firebreak, hmm... The God's have seen his future, though soon, he may even disappear.

The Sword-maiden stand up and exit the bathhouse as the Priestess is contemplating on what she has said. The Archbishop reminded Priestess that, the longer stay in the bath, the more dizzy she feels.

The Priestess heads to one of he rooms to clean herself up, thinking about the possibility of losing Firebreak after what happened to another male. He was part of her party till he met his untimely demise by the hands of the Goblins she thought he scared them away. Despite this, she can't remove her scars as it is now imbedded into her mind, like Firebreak and many others.

Slayer and Elf are at a post shop because Slayer needed to send something to the guild, Elf just stands there accompanying Slayer throughout this exposure. Meanwhile, Firebreak heads to a pets store to get a specific animal.

Pet store owner: Ah another customer. So what animal are you here for, mister?

Firebreak: I'm looking for a bird.

Pet store owner: We've got lots of birds here, which one specifically?

Firebreak look towards the small, yellow bird in the cage and points his finger at it. The owner takes the cage and gave it to Firebreak. He paid up and now the asset is in his possession. He spotted Slayer and Elf, then walked towards them with the Bird in hand and an Umbrella on the other - shielding the bird and him from the rain.

Firebreak: Come on, You two wouldn't want to catch a cold under the rain.

The two walked under the shades of the umbrella Firebreak's holding. As they were walking towards the Temple, Slayer feels awfully close to Firebreak. She wanted to say something, but doubt that he felt the same for her. Elf caught a glimpse of this and grins to an extent.

Firebreak: Where were you two?

Slayer: Didn't I say it was the post shop?

Firebreak: You said that, after I left.

Slayer: I see.

Firebreak: Anything?

Elf: Well, there weren't any sewer quest at the nearby guild.

Firebreak: Hmm... That can't be right.

Slayer: We'll talk in the morning.

Firebreak: Okay.

The next Morning.....

The Adventurers are at the entrance of the Sewers with Slayer holding a cage with the bird inside.

Elf: What's that?

Firebreak: You don't know what a bird is?

Elf: No, I mean, why did you bring that thing with us?

Slayer: You'll see.

They walk into the sewer entrance Elf got curious about the bird.

Elf: So, if I touch it, will I explode or something?

Firebreak: Do you really think a canary can kill someone?

Priestess: I think there is a bit of miscommunication here. She meant by why did you need to bring it?

Slayer: Canaries have a keen sense of smell. They freak out by even the smallest amount of Poison gas.

Firebreak: Considering the Goblins here are quite educated.

The group wonders about into the maze of the sewer system. It has soon came to a halt when Slayer notices that one of the torches that used to be on a handle is left with sud. It is then presume that an adventurer had once come down here, but the corpse was never found. That's when they reach to a large door to which Elf has assured that there is no traps, at least at the front. Slayer then proceeded to kick the door open.

The group rushed into the chamber, but they're surprised that the Goblins aren't here. They then spotted an adventurer being held up by chains. Priestess was going to help her, but Firebreak stopped her from going close. She was going to ask why, but then the hair fall off to reveal the skeletal remains of this Adventurer. Then the door shuts unexpectedly, trapping the Adventurers inside. The bird starts to freak out as the Goblins poured poison gas into the chamber.

Slayer told everyone to rub any cloth onto the charcoal, then advised them that any herbs that they carry is beneficial. Firebreak didn't do this because he has a gas mask. Soon the entire party have worn the mask to protect themselves from the gas. Slayer then pass to Dwarf 2 bags: one with volcanic earth and the other limestone.

Firebreak: Concrete?

Slayer: Yes. Plug up all the holes, this would stop the poison gas.

Dwarf: I know a good weathering spell.

The Elf took the bags and rush to fill the holes, the Dwarf followed soon after. Slayer told them to move one of the stone coffins to the door. Slayer, Firebreak, Lizardman and Priestess used all their strength to push he heavy coffin to the door.

Lizardman: That should hold it.

After that, the Elf and Dwarf came finished plugging up all of the holes. Most of the group get back with the Priestess casting <PROTECTION> after. Firebreak, on the other hand, stood by the left with the Reactor Core.

Quiet fills the room as the group wonders when the Goblins would come.

Elf: I don't like this, it's too quiet.

Slayer: Probably the gas diverted, making a few died.

Lizardman: Shall I make a dragontooth Warrior?

Slayer: Do it!

Lizardman: Right! O horns and claws of our mighty ancestor Iquanadon, thy 4 legs become 2 and walk upon this earth! <DRAGONTOOTH WARRIOR>

They waited and then the door got a knock. Goblins flooded out the door, being cut down by Elf's Arrows. A lot of them breeched to which Firebreak shouted, "Get on top of something", and opens the Reactor Core. This caught the Goblins off guard as they didn't see Firebreak and went after him. About 10~20 or so Goblins died by the radiation. The most of the Goblins manage barrage in. That's when Firebreak slams the Reactor Core down, making a devastating shockwave that kills the Goblins in the room. Firebreak puts the Reactor Core back on his back and walked back into the shield.

The door and the coffin were smashed open. Slayer throws a knife at the thing. It's massive stature, large weapon, sharp teeth and Green skin gave the Goblin Slayer the conclusion:

Slayer: It's a Goblin Champion.

The Champion shattered the knife and roars. Slayer, Firebreak, Lizardman and the Dragontooth warrior went out of the shield and into the fray. Slayer slashes 2, Lizardman and his skeleton killed 2, Firebreak burns 2. The Champion swung it's massive weapon at the Adventurers, but is unable to hit them. Firebreak flamed 5 before shooting 2 with his gun. Slayer slashes a group and proceed to kill off more.

The Champion then saw an opportunity and hit Firebreak and he ended up crashing into a wall before landing onto the stone coffin. Slayer is hit as well and it only ended up making her drop to a knee. Priestess couldn't focus after witnessing that her friends being incapacitated and thus the shield went down - making it easier for the Goblins to ravage the group. Elf tried her best to not let the Goblins touch her, but alas she was overwhelmed. Dwarf saw this and tired his best to kill as many Goblins off her as he can. Priestess tried to help her friends, but can't because she is traumatized by the event. The Champion grabbed hold of the Priestess and bit her shoulder, causing her to scream and blood oozing out.

Firebreak/Slayer is unconscious, but he/she can still hear. When Priestess makes that scream, it makes him/her remember something. A little/big girl screaming for mercy by the hands of the monster. He/she opens his/her eyes to see the carnage that just happened. All of his/her forgotten memories flooded the mind till only one thing that occupied his/her noggin; Rage. The two stood up and makes their way to the Champion, who is laughing by the state of the Priestess. Slayer eye glows a bright red color as she is making her way up the Champion, so does Firebreak with his visor now glowing orange.

The Champion makes its one last look at the Priestess, before having his neck being chocked by the enraged Adventurers. The Goblin let go of the Priestess as the rest came to her aid. The Goblin tried its best to get the Adventurers off him, but it ended up killing more of his kind.

Firebreak/Slayer: I can see why some assassins use human hair... Because it doesn't get tangled so easily... Useful for crushing someone's neck!

The Goblin struggle to breathe as it's neck is being crushed.

Firebreak: Hey, over here you big, fat, ugly motherfucker!

The Goblin turned his head to look at Firebreak, only to get his eye being plunged by a heated hand. The Goblin finally get them off its back, resulting of blood coming out of its face.

The Goblins turned to look at the 2, who are standing up. One of the Goblins got close, only for its face to be grabbed by a hot hand, resulting in it's death.

Slayer: Who's next?

Firebreak: Is it you? *Drop the eye*

Firebreak/Slayer: Or you?

The Goblins are horrified by the two and run away along with the Champion. The Adventurers tried to take steps, before falling. However, Dwarf and Elf manage to catch the 2 and brought them to Priestess.

Priestess laid there, being band-aid by Lizardman man, who use <REFRESH> on her. Slayer and Firebreak looked at the child as she opens her eyes. She saw her 2 closes friends battered and wounded.

Priestess: I'm sorry. I should have focus on the wall.

Firebreak: Kid... What you... Did back there... It wasn't your... Fault.

Slayer: We... should've been... More careful.

Before Priestess smiled, Firebreak and  Slayer went into shock and fell - as the latter lays on the former - with Blood dripping from Slayer's helmet and Firebreak's mask. The others mourn at this moment thinking that both of them are truly dead. However, the story doesn't end here.
