The moment they landed in Milan, Undyne hailed a taxi to their hotel. As they drove, Papyrus pointed out of the 'racecar' window and gasped loudly. "Look!"

The sunset sparkled brightly on the windoes and the water of the Navigli canals. "It's beautiful." Mettaton commented. The driver made a noise of agreement as Undyne striked up a conversation with him.

Soon, the small group arrived at their destination. As they entered the hotel, they noticed the lobby was packed by monsters and humans alike, people from all over the world speaking in different languages.

"I'm g-going to sign us all in." Alphys muttered. Mettaton smiled.

"I'll come with you, Alphys-darling." Sans watched them leave, Mettaton pushing people out of his way and making room for Alphys to pass through.

"What a pushover, am I right?" Sans snickered. He waited. Papyrus didn't react. Sans whirled around, and sure enough, Papyrus and Undyne were gone. He sighed irritably. Five seconds.

Sans followed the sound of Undyne's voice. "There's a castle here!?" She screamed.

It took a while, but Sans somehow manage to get to them in one piece. He dusted himself off and looked up.

Undyne was making conversation with a girl with red hair. Said girl nodded enthusiastically. "There is! Would you like to come with us sometime?"

Sans stood next to Undyne and scanned the group wearily. A tall boy with fluffy brown hair and green eyes watched Marcy as she spoke, his lips curling upwards slightly whenever she laughed. A girl with (h/c) hair was talking into her phone, obviously not happy with whoever was on the other end. Sans let his eyes linger on her for a bit. She finally ended the call and noticed him staring. She gave him a small smile.

"And you are?" Marcy asked him. Undyne finally seemed to notice the shorter skeleton's presence.

"Him? That's bonehead Sans. He's a nerd, but a cool one." Undyne said, flashing one of her famous smiles. Sans couldn't help but smile, too.

"I'm also funny." He jammed his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. "Down to the bone." Papyrus screamed while the human trio laughed lightly. Undyne snickered and patted his back. "Don't worry, Pap." Sans hummed, pulling a juice box out of his pocket. "You'll get juiced to it."

"IHATEYOUSANS!" Papyrus screamed. Sans chuckled and handed him the drink. The taller skeleton immidiately calmed down and poked a straw into it... with much difficulty.

"So, are you guys here for the competition at La Scala?" The redhead asked, taking the straw from Papyrus and poking it into the box. Papyrus beamed and thanked her.

"Yeah, we are!" Undyne confirmed. The girl's eyes lit up.

"Carlos and I are here for that, too!" She said excitedly. "I'm Marcy, Marcy Meyers. That's Carlos Kua, and that's (y/n) (l/n)."

"Aren't you here for the competition, (y/n)?" Papyrus asked, pausing in his important task; drinking his juice. (Y/n) shook her head, her (h/c) hair moving at the gesture.

"Actually, I'm here for a soccer tournament." She responded. She looked embarrassed as she scratched the back of her neck. "I'm an extra. Benched."

"She won't be after the game later!" Marcy declared. Carlos just nodded in agreement. Friendly.

Alphys and Mettaton walked over, the robot's heels clicking on the marble floor. "Hello, darlings! Here we are!"

After a brief introduction and Marcy squealing over Mettaton, the trio had to leave for (y/n)'s game.

"So, we'll see you tomorrow at the drawing for auditions." Marcy smiled. "We're really good. So you'd better watch out."

The trio snatched up their luggages and turned around in sync before exiting the lobby. Before they disappeared around the corner, (y/n) glanced back at them. Sans met her gaze, and he quirked a bonebrow curiously.

Later, she mouthed, and then she was gone.
