After the skill performance I realized how near the games are.
Now the final question.
Do I live or die?
Melody will chose death for sure.
Do I want to win?

I have no idea.

I was patiently waiting for my performance points reveal.
I was very annoyed by my dad's behaviour. He was acting like no one is going to die. He knows himself that the games are cruel.
"Dad," I started as we were waiting.
"Yes?"
"How many people did you kill on the games?" I don't care how rude that question was, I want him to admit that the games are cruel.
"Attitude!" Rome said but I didn't care.
"Jasper, listen-"
"No, you listen. This whole time you're acting like no one is going to die but you know that I won't win!"
Everyone stared at me in silence.
"C'mon say it! Say that I'll die! Say it!" I yelled full of anger.

Just when my dad wanted to say something, the tv started showing the scores. I sat down in silence and watched it.

Todd District 4 - 6 points

"You did very well!" Rome said.
"Yeah, great." I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room.

"Try to be your usual self, actually be your happier self." Rome said while making sure my tux was alright.
We were waiting for my turn for the interview. I wasn't in the mood for that at all but this was my only chance to get sponsors.

I watched other tributes' interviews. The careers were before me, they all looked so proud to be here.

"Jason, your father is the strongest victor from all the victors." Leon the redactor said.
"What about you?" He asked.
"My dad has been training me since I was little." Jason answered.
"And here are the results." He showed his big muscles to Leon.
"Wow!"

"I know how to use all kinds of weapons." Arianna said.
"All?"
"Yes, give me a name of any weapon you know."
"Sword." Leon started saying.
"I can use it."
"A cross bow?"
"I learnt it when I was 11."

Melody's turn came.
She was in a short pink dress.
I honestly think that green matches her more. Her curly hair was in a high ponytail.

"Melody, what weapon you can use?" Leon asked.
"A spear." She answered.
"I like that, I heard that your aunt is the only District 3 person who knows how to use a spear."
"It is true."

After Melody, it came my turn.
I looked at my robotic arm, Draco made sure that it's clean before I go on the stage.

"Jasper, I must say your arm looks great."
"Thank you." I replied.
"Can I touch it?"
"Yes."
This was uncomfortable.
"How did you get it?"
"It was an accident when I was 10, my sister didn't make it out alive." I replied.
"And your dad made it?"
"Yes, indeed."
"How is it since your dad won the games?"
"He is different. Not better or worst, just different." I answered.

After my interview, I got watch all the others. I still was looking for a person to team up with.

"Pearl, your father won the games by swimming. Do you think you can too?"
"Yes, I think this can help me." She answered quite confidently.
"My dad won by drowning other tributes and he thought me how to do that." She added.

The twelve year old Todd also from District 4 was kinda shy. He said how he knows swimming and he is a good hunter.

"Jasmine, you were born in the Victor Village in District 7, tell us about it."
"Well, it's very different than normal life in our District. I'm home schooled so I don't leave the village."
"Aren't you lonely?" Leon asked.
"No, there are a lot of people there. Many victors have family in my age so I have a lot friends."
"And the person you volunteered for was one of your friends?"
"Yes, it's my closest friend."

"Evelyn, you know in past there didn't use to be a lot of victors District 12 but now I could see a lot of slips in that bowl." Leon said.
"It is kinda crowded in the village." Evelyn answered.
"Last year your sister won the games. And now you're here."
"It is true that I have been in the village for only a year but I am planning to live there longer." She smiled.
"And if I win District 12 will have two wins in a row. Which only happened once in history of District 12." She added.
