chapter twenty,
that one at the beach

━━━━ "YES mom, i'll see you soon. i love you." vivienne said letting out a soft giggle as her mom was blowing her kisses from the phone. vivienne hung up and dropped her phone to the side. it was her last sleep inside of the girls dorm room and the day in general was hectic.

first, the grades were up. all of her friends passed. they were originally all going to go celebrate the fact that kitty passed but quincy was still bad at kitty at the time, dae is still doing the silent treatment and min ho was no where in sight that entire day. so it was only kitty and vivienne celebrating.

then kitty got expelled. it was shock to vivienne that she almost started crying when kitty walked inside of the dorm and said that she was being expelled. kitty was currently fast asleep and vivienne has been contacting yuri the entire day wondering why she was getting expelled since kitty wouldn't tell her.

yuri didn't even know that kitty was getting expelled and said she'll see what she can do and then went on to tell her about alex and her mom and professor lee. vivienne really wished that they were face to face so that yuri could see the flabbergasted look that vivienne had on her face.

now it's 12pm and vivienne needed to go to sleep. the problem was that she wasn't tired. she was wide awake and couldn't wait to get on a plane to go and visit her mom which is where her dad was going to meet them. her mom was currently in california so she was going to take a flight with kitty so she knew that they had to get up early in order to not miss that plane ride.

vivienne's phone then started to vibrate multiple times. the filipino girl frowned her eyebrows and picked up her phone. min ho was calling her. she answered and put the phone on her ear. "min ho?"

"hey, meet me at the location that i'm going to send you. i love you." vivienne couldn't even ask why because min ho hung up. vivienne as quick to go to her closet and put on a better outdoor outfit. she put on leggings and a nude color essential hoodie. she grabbed her phone and left a quick note to kitty just in case she woke up.

vivienne headed over to the door and put on her shoes before pulling out the location. it was a 10 minute walk to where he was. "gosh min ho this better be worth it." vivienne whispered to herself and started to sneak out of the dorm building. it was much more easier than she thought since some kids are leaving now because of their flight, vivienne looked like a student who had an early flight. once she stepped out of the building she only needed to walk 7 minutes.

those 7 minutes seem to be longer than she anticipated. vivienne had no idea where the location was until the soothing sound of the ocean reached her ears. vivienne smiled to herself as she breathed in the addicting smell of the beach and walked further down to where she saw light. the closer she got the more she was able to make out what she saw in front of her.

there was a pathway of small candles on the sand. it was along pathway down to the ocean where a familiar body structure stood with multiple candles surrounding him. vivienne put her phone away and wrapped her arms around her body as she started making her way down the candle pathway.

what took vivienne's heart was the flowers that were laid on the ground. vivienne kneeled down and picked up her favorite pink flower by the stem. she stood back up and her entire way down she picked up every single flower. when she reached him she had a bouquet of her favorite flowers inside of her hand.

"hi." min ho breathed out nervously.

"hi, min ho." vivienne breathed out with the same nerves as him. vivienne looked around and then back at u him. "this is beautiful. you did all this?"

min ho nodded his head grinning smugly to himself. suddenly when vivienne and him locked eyes, he didn't care if this was their millionth time locking eyes, his breath will always be taken away by her gorgeous eyes locking with his.

he found her eyes so magically that he sometimes thinks anyone that locks eyes with her will be at her feet. he doesn't think he knows that any boy would throw themselves at their feet when vivienne just breathe. it's the way he sees her. he sees an angel in here. he's always have.

ever since they were small, min ho has been telling quincy that vivienne was an angel who joined their friend group. that they should always protect vivienne at all coast, protect their angel. but now she's his angel. he wants to be hers. he wants to hear vivienne say that he is hers. and so does vivienne.

"vinnie, i like you so much. i've always have if you haven't notice. i think you did. i don't think so." min ho said quickly correcting himself knowing that he disguised his like for vivienne by teasing her. "but i have. and the day that we stopped talking two years ago made me realize just how much i like you. i love you, vivienne. and i want to be with you. i think we've always been destined to be more than friends which i first i thought was impossible but those last few months have shown me that it isn't. that the things that i've wished for are finally coming true. so i'm asking you, vivienne, can i be your boyfriend? will you be my girlfriend?"

"i would love for you to be my boyfriend, min ho!"

just like that, they were tied together. vivienne and min ho were destined for one another even if it took them a few years and a few arguments to get to this point, it happened. all of those years of him trying to defend that his feelings weren't about her completely went down the drain the second that vivienne reappeared in his life.

vivienne has never liked any other boy besides min ho. it has always been min ho and she's afraid that it always will be min ho. she knows that they both have their own flaws, she knows that they will eventually have arguments that will make them think that they're going to break up, but she knows that that's all part of having a relationship.

because no matter how many downs they have they'll have more ups with each other.

vivienne and min ho are stuck together, by the glue. by the universe, by their love. and you'll need something strong to break their glue apart.
