chapter sixteen,
that one where yuri comes back

━━━━ EVERYTHING has shifted in this life vivienne villanueva and everyone, especially her close friends, can see it. she was more closed off. hardly talked at all in class and only ever talked to quincy, min ho, kitty and dae. she was reading more as well. and she hardly ever wanted to go out anymore. she mostly always stayed with min ho.

currently, vivienne was staring aimlessly at the ceiling of the boys common room. oh, that's another thing. vivienne is never in her dorm room and neither is kitty — but kitty is because her and dae are now better — she spends it with min ho because when she's alone, she fears that at any moment romeo can pop up and finish what he started. others might tell her it's stupid but in her mind, it's a terrible and horrible feeling.

her legs were on top of min ho's lap and her head was thrown back on the arm chair of the couch. min ho was scrolling down through his phone while messaging his face. "a reason, a season or a lifetime." min ho said grinning.

"what are you talking about?" quincy asked. he was doing push ups and sweat was running down his entire body. vivienne grabbed a rag that she was holding and patted quincy's face to get rid of some of the sweat to go to his eyes.

"every relationship fits into one of the those categories. i read it in a magazine. and i've been doing some thinking,"

"don't hurt yourself." vivienne said softly and innocently. she put her hand on min ho's shoulder and gave it a soft squeeze.

"you know what, i was going to say something nice about our relationship but forget. you're my reason because now you've showed me that being in one isn't worth it if i'm getting bullied! ah!" min ho screamed when vivienne jumped on top of him. wrapping her arms around his shoulder and dragging him down to the floor. quincy laughed taking a quick picture of it and grabbed the rag drying himself off.

"poor baby is getting bullied who will ever help him?" vivienne gasped keeping her arms steady around his shoulder and her legs wrapped around his hip. min ho groaned managing to stand up and sit back down on the couch with vivienne clinging onto his like a koala.

"hey, how are you and florian?" min ho asked wrapping a secure arm around vivienne and scooting her further down to him so that she won't fall off. vivienne tilted her head to the side so that she will be able to see quincy.

"he's going through some stuff, but i'm here for him." quincy said smiling at them. min ho and vivienne could see that it did pain him seeing his boyfriend go through this without him being able to do anything to take it away fully. min ho knows that feeling. he knows it all too well.

he feels it now. he's been feeling it ever since the incident. min ho has been wanting to hurt romeo so many times whenever vivienne would randomly remember and cry, sometimes even cry herself to sleep. it pains his heart, like as if someone was stabbing it multiple times, whenever he would see vivienne down for the same exact reason. he wishes he could just dive into vivienne's mind and take those memories away.

vivienne tilted her head to the crook of his neck and planted a soft and sweet kiss on his neck. min ho sighed softly giving her a small squeeze of the waist as reassurance.

"good morning." kitty said skipping out of one side of her dorm rooms.

"good morning." dae said strolling through the other door. kitty and dae then met up halfway and started being lovey dovey. more lovey dovey then vivienne and min ho. a sick kind of lovey dovey.

"it's too early to be cheery." min ho scoffed.

"i am this cheery, not only because i have the most perfect boyfriend in the world," kitty said skipping over to the kitchen with dae by her side. vivienne frowned her eyebrows glancing at quincy. the two shared the same thought to which quincy only shrugged his shoulders to. "but it has come to my attention that i am failing almost all of my classes. so if i dont do amazing on the finals, i will flunk out of school."

vivienne got off from min ho, intertwined their hands together and dragged him over to the kitchen. quincy following along. "and that brings you cheer because...?" quincy asked.

dae passed all of the mugs to kitty in a romantic way. min ho and vivienne locked eyes and almost burst out into fits of laughter but contained themselves knowing that they were once like that or will probably be like that when they make it official.

"if i dwell on the fact that i was considered super-smart at home and here i can barely keep up, i will start sobbing." kitty said smiling and while making all of their coffees.

"we have a week before finals. we're gonna make study plans, and everyone will help you." dae said.

"i'm very busy, so—"

"yeah, busy sucking vivienne's face." quincy coughed looking around pretending that he didn't say that. min ho reached over vivienne and smacked him on the top of his head.

"everyone." dae laughed leaning forward and swatting min ho's arm. "guys, kitty and i are finally together. i'm not gonna let her fail out of this school now."

"well, i'm in. i'll help with chem." quincy said.

"i'll help with history." vivienne said smiling softly at kitty and reaching her hand forward. kitty sighed deeply putting her hand on top of vivienne. "you will not be leaving this school, especially since you're practically the only girl im friends with besides yuri."

kitty tensed up making vivienne smirk and pull her hand back. vivienne glanced over at quincy who raised an eyebrow at her. vivienne nodded her head at quincy who held a disappointed face and shook his head at kitty. the red hair girl ignoring the two.

"she definitely needs to work on her korean." min ho said over to dae.

"what did you call me?" kitty asked.

"he said he'll help you." vivienne said grinning. min ho gasped shaking his head.

"did not! vinnie you know i didn't say that." min ho grumbled. vivienne shrugged her shoulders at him leaning forward and placing a kiss on his cheek.

"min ho will help with whenever dae can't help. he's pretty smart for his own good when it comes to school." vivienne said and she giggled when she felt min ho place a hand on her thigh and squeeze it multiple times. signaling her to take it back.

"you're in good hands, kitty." quincy said.

kitty nodded her head handing everyone their coffee. "or i'll fail you, have to leave my true love, and disgrace my mothers legacy, which is even greater than i thought. so," they all clinked their mugs, "no pressure."

surprisingly vivienne found the perfect time where min ho was busy with something and she was alone. she took this time to help kitty with her history homework or either final questions. the two girls were sprawled down onto the rug.

kitty had her legs spread out and her arms up in the air. she was holding colorful flashlights that gave an answer to something that vivienne had to ask. vivienne laid with her entire body spread apart already memorizing the questions and only has to tell them to kitty who has to find the right answer with her rainbow flash cards.

vivienne and kitty went on and on for about an hour or so. until vivienne started to notice and hear that kitty was getting out of focus and her voice seemed like she was thinking about something other than the work.

"kitty," vivienne called out. kitty responded back as vivienne leaned up on her palms. "let's take a break." kitty threw the flash cards all over the room and threw herself exactly like how vivienne was on the floor. "and talk."

"what about?" kitty asked tilting her head up from the ground.

vivienne shrugged her shoulder dropping her head down to one of her shoulders. "you and dae? how have things been ever since you two started being more exclusive." kitty sighed deeply and brought her hands up to her stomach intertwining her own fingers together.

"well," kitty said and closed her eyes. "we're doing good. amazing actually. so happy because i'm finally with the guy that ive been dreaming about." kitty reopened her eyes. "yay."

vivienne felt sad for her best friend seeing kitty in an argument with her own mind about something that kitty doesn't even wanna admit. it hurts vivienne that kitty is trying to almost hide that fact of herself than face it. "what about yuri? did you massive crush on yuri leave?"

"that wasn't a crush. it was nothing." kitty said shooting up from the ground and shaking her head in denial. "was i pulled by her beauty? sure i was, who wouldn't." vivienne snorted nodding her head and giving kitty a point for that one. "but i'm with dae. i'm happy."

"sounds like you're trying to convince yourself more than me." vivienne hummed.

kitty opened her mouth and closed it in an instant like a goldfish. vivienne raised an eyebrow encouraging her to go on but the red hair girl wouldn't even look at her without feeling the shame. the two teenage girls stayed in silence for a few more minutes until there was a knock on the door.

"oh god did you invite min ho?" kitty groaned.

"no, i didn't i told him i'll see him tomorrow." vivienne said frowning her eyebrows and standing up. kitty's eyes widen. she grabbed her sharpest pencil and stood behind vivienne who slowly walked over to the door. vivienne grabbed her smallest lamp from the desk and then opened up the door to see her best friend.

"were you two really going to hit me with a, sharped pencil and a lamp?" yuri scoffed even though there was a smile threatening to form on her lips. vivienne put her lamp back and kitty threw her pencil over her shoulder.

"yuri, hi!" vivienne squealed smiling widely at the girl who she hasn't seen since almost the start of term.

"hi, stranger. i came out to my mom." yuri deadpanned catching both kitty and vivienne off guard. "im gay." yuri then smiled widely and held her arms open. "surprise?"

"oh, my god. im so proud of you yuri i could actually cry. come here." vivienne blinked away her tears and yuri walked a few steps forward and let vivienne's arms wrap around her body. yuri sighed in satisfaction and got comfortable inside of her arms. vivienne knew about yuri and vivienne knows about how much yuri has been struggling with this. vivienne knows how big of a step this is and she couldn't be even more happier.

yuri pulled away and looked like she could almost scream it into the entire world out. "oh! i feel amazing. scared, but free." yuri said nodding her head before dropping another bomb on then. "and i'm moving in with you guys."

"yay!" vivienne was jumping up and down her place clapping her hands together. she glanced over at kitty who looked like she was about to either fall in love or drop dead onto the ground and wait until the ground consumes her. "this is going to be fun."

and so vivienne, kitty and yuri all started to pull the extra mattress from the boys dorm room into their dorm room with the help of quincy. they all got dressed for bed and went immediately into gossiping. yuri and kitty started to beg vivienne to spill everything about her and min ho.

with a wide smile of her face and blush rising up her entire face vivienne spilled everything out to the two girls that she calls her best friends. her girlfriends. vivienne even opened up about the incident. it took her a lot of courage to talk about it for the first time after telling min ho.

"oh vivi." kitty whispered putting a hand over her mouth. yuri reached forward and hooked their hands together.

"i haven't seen him since then which is a surprise but i'm glad. i think i haven't seen him because min ho has been doing a good job in turning me the other direction whenever he's around." vivienne said shrugging her shoulders and letting out a breath of relief. yuri and kitty went over to her bed and both wrapped their arms around vivienne.

that's when vivienne came into a conclusion. she blurted out, "i think i love him."
