Keith woke up in the comfort of lances arms

He cuddled into lances arms enjoying the warmth when he remembered him and Lance weren't dating
He whimpered slightly at the thought something telling him to let go but snuggling closer not wanting to let go wanting to savour the moment as if it was his last with Lance

Keith never thought for a second Lance would like him back after all he had brought Lance on a dare before it went well but Lance seemed to just forget about it

Keith felt his eyes start to water 'I need to stop thinking about this if I do I'm gonna start crying and I CANT do that's with thought to himself trying to fight back the tears he squeezed his eyes shut helpless to the tear that dripped from his eye

Lance woke up feeling something squeezing his torso he was confused for a moment until he felt it squeeze tighter he looked down and saw Keith squeezing him he thought it was cute for a second until he saw a tear and instantly thought Keith was having a nightmare and hugged him closer thinking it would help

Keith didn't know what to do his face was turning bright red so he buried his face in lances chest of course Lance took this the wrong way to him Keith looked scared and sad Keith was indeed happy but extremely flustered he needed to come up with a plan quick thankfully that's Keith's speciality

Keith pretended to fall relaxed and asleep thinking Lance was catching on to him being awake and Lance was relieved that Keith was relaxing once Keith felt his face cool he slowly pretended to wake up he indeed enjoyed being with Lance snuggling but Keith didn't want Lance thinking he was weird or something

Keith started to mice his tail side to side not thinking just stretching until too much of his tail ended up flipping off the bed Keith started to fall but Lance caught him extremely quickly there faces inches apart Lance in surprise dropped Keith and he landed with a big thump and a tiny scream from Keith not loud enough to be heard by anyone but Lance

Keith's face started to turn red from embarrassment he had almost kissed Lance

Lance shook his head side to side trying to clear his head before helping Keith off the floor

"here ya go I know you can't stop falling for me but seriously no need to hurt yourself"Lance said smirk plastered in his face Keith could tell it was there without even looking at Lance

And the worst part was Lance was right Keith couldn't stop falling for lances ocean blue eyes his white smile his stupid flirty personality that without Keith's control over his own body would have him swooning smiling and laughing all the time

Keith couldn't help but enjoy this

Keith replied with a bigger smirk stretched across his face "sorry McLain but why would I fall for someone who would drop me "Keith winked but ended up with him just tilting his head and blinking

Lance thought this was adorable

Keith just turned away smile seemingly permanently resting on his face

Lance was so happy

the thoughts of panic attacks torture and war gone from both their minds only each other remaining

And could you blame them they both were love sick puppies with each other and were both

They were interrupted by hunks voice ringing through the speakers
