Keith stared laughing when he saw pidge ,lance and hunk freaking out and allura just started talking to Keith like no resettle turned merfolk were screaming"I'm gonna go get shiro and tell him your back safe after all he is your brother and he's been worrying about you can you bring the life crystals back to my room then come to the centre of the palace please and bring these changelings with you"Keith just laughed and nodded

Hunks pov

I have a tail wait and lance also have tails what's going on that's it I'm screaming"screams"okay wait what's going on the bubble is gone I can't breath wait I have guils I can breath okay wait why is Keith laughing in having a panic attack and he's laughing not nice at all I can't believe Keith hump

Nobody's pov

Keith calmed down hunk then turned to  lance who was swimming in circles completely forgetting his fear and and then pidge just in the floor shocked she didn't even move she looked dead but she was alive Keith then stopped lance and picked up Pidge who was really easy to pick up then they all swam to the centre of the ship

it was  a lounge/control area when they got there allura was at the control panel and announced on the intercom to prepare for lift everyone felt the palace shake and the entrance doors shut then the place started to transform into sort of a ship and went deeper and deeper into the depths of the sea after they couldn't sea light anymore and were in what is called the twilight zone for humans lights turned on around the ship and they soon after hit the ground it wasn't the bottoms of the sea but no one could see anything out sound except for the little space in front of the ship that was lit up

After they stopped they noticed a merman in the shadow it was a merman with a robotic arm but it didn't look like normal metal it was made out of this purple ore the merman also had a scar across the bridge of his nose and all his hair was black except the white bit of bangs in his hair that was more of a tuff of hair his tail was white and black with a bit of purple everyone was curious about the merman

Keith noticed everyone staring Ina corner of the room and looked at them confused then looked at the corner and instantly lit up he swam over to shiro and tackled him surprising shiro ,shiro tried to get Keith of oh him not noticing who it was then realized who it was and started to hug him and Keith hugged back Keith than al it's shouted"I missed you shiro"shiro then smiled and let go of Keith and said"that's my line i missed you"it looked like a happy family reunion because it was they acted like they hadn't seen each other for years but it was only two days but you can't blame them last time one of them disappeared they didn't see each for a longer time and it was very painful for both of them

After they were done hugging shiro looked at Keith and noticed the new scar on his tail and immediately looked at lance almost asking for an explanation when Keith noticed this he quickly got frustrated and said"I got this scar from a rock not them now stop glaring it will disappear in a few days anyway"lance then looked confused"what do you mean Keith shiro has a scar on his nose so how will your scar disappear?"allura noticing lances question came swimming over and said "when in human form the scars you get will stay but if your in mermaid form when you first get the scar then it will heal and not be visible anymore it's just how that works we don't now how exactly yet though which is frustrating but it's fine I guess"pidge then asked  allura "what are  they doing at the bottom the sea"allura laughed and said"we're not at the bottom just in the twilight zone because Keith feels more comfortable here and no humans can get here so it's safer"pidge then looked at Keith and said"why is it more comfortable for Keith?"allura then responded sounding not so sure"you see there are two main types of merfolk altean and galra but Keith is a different species of merman because he can glow his tail ears and eyes glow and he can control it to it seems like a mutation for living at the bottom of the ocean not an ability but it's safer saying it's an ability so then if anyone ever finds out that we don't trust they won't try and experiment on Keith"keith started to blush then said"shut up allura I swear if you say the next part I will destroy you!!!"then allura finished her sentence smiling"Keith is scared of needles there is no way he could handle getting experimented on"she then started to laugh and swam away shiro was also laughing then Keith swam towards her then she swam away and he followed not going as fast as he could to not hurt her but enough to make it a fun chasers they left the room another merman entered shiro pleasantly said"hi Coran"and Coran said"hi" in an energetic tone then Coran went to spthe control panel and pulled up cameras scattered around the castle he then sked shiro if he could take everyone to their rooms shiro then a abliged and took them to there rooms

While they walked-swam to the rooms shiro quickly changed his course and started swimming to Keith's room when they were all outside Keith's room shiro said "do you guys wanna see Keith's glow?"he said in an excited tone but it was obviously a question everyone nodded excitedly shiro started to explain that "whenever Keith gig back he would turn the camera and the lights off in his room and make his tail,eyes and ears glow but he wouldn't show it to people that much because for some reason he was embarrassed about it"after shiro explained he turned the lights off in the hall then quickly opened Keith's door while being quiet Keith didn't notice them and his tail was glowing a beautiful purple colour that was so entrancing it lit up his hole room and Keith was just was just looking at his tail turning the glow off and on while making cool designs around his room he looked like a kid playing with a flashlight so happy he then got up and started to move his tail  quickly making it shimmer he then started to do tricks with his tail everyone was in a trance then everyone snapped out of it when they noticed the beautiful light was gone and shiro just said a quiet "shit" then Keith turned on his room light and his face was crimson red Keith then said"s-shiro I hate you so much like sooooooo much"he was so embarrassed he then swam out and left everyone in shock shiro then said as a joke but it was obvious he wasn't lying saying"he's not gonna talk to me for an entire week.....but it was totally worth it I didn't know his tail could shimmer normally he just makes cool patterns I gotta write this down"he then turned the light back on in the hall way and quickly showed everyone they're rooms then grabbed a book hunk and pidge followed followed shiro being extremely curious while lance went to talk with Keith 

After a few minutes of searching lance found Keith in a room that was pitch black except  for a small light coming from Keith's eyes when the light turned to lance it quickly disappeared lance then heard Keith swim to another part of the room but because of lances transformation he now had ears that could echo locate so he heard every noise of Keith moving and swam over to Keith lance then asked Keith"why don't you like the glow I thought it was mesmerizing"out of no where Keith started to yell"THAT IS EXACTLY WHY I HATE IT!!"lance looked at Keith concerned and asked simply"what??"Keith then let out a sigh and with a shaken voice and said "when ever I make my body glow when ever someone is in my light what ever I tell them to do they must oblige they can't say no and I hate that ,everyone should have a say in the things they want to do its their body and their life why should I have a say in what they want to do I don't want to force people like that"while lance was processing what Keith just said while he was thinking about it Keith started crying thinking lance hated him that he was a monster and that he didn't deserve to be there he stopped his sobbing when lance said something really surprising"that's a really kinky trait"Keith just looked at lance in disbelief Keith can literally force lance to do anything even kill those he loved and the first thing he thought of was sex are you serious lance Keith than said"your not scared of me I could literally tell you to kill yourself but of course the first thing you say is about sex what the literal fuck lance !!!"lance then responded with a "meh"and just shrugged after they did that Keith opened his eyes revealing the beautiful colour again after he looked up he noticed shiro, allura, pidge, hunk and Coran all looking at them as if they just saw someone grew a horn out of the top of their head then pidge yelled"FASCINATING "startling the hole group then snatched a book from shiro's hand and started writing something then she ran over to Keith and said"make your tail glow"Keith being scared of the tiny mermaid a little (pun intended)did as he was commanded the she said"tell me to so something!"she sounded really excited Keith tried to detest"but but"pidge then screamed"JUST DO IT"and then Keith said"what should I tell you to do then up I want your consent"pidge then thought and said what she would not want to do she than said"make lance pick for me whatever"allura turned on the light in the room so they could see what pidge did that was bound to be hilarious lance gave an evil grin and said"make pidge say that Hawaiian pizzas are the best"pidge than gave a gasp"no anything but that"Keith than gave an evil glare and looked pidge strait in the eyes his eyes looking directly into her with the beautiful purple glow almost pulling her in and said in a calming voice that could entrance anyone into doing anything and I mean ANYTHING "pidge say Hawaiian pizza is the best pizza"pidge then said exactly what she was told to say"Hawaiian pizza is the best pizza"Keith than said"okay that's enough and his tail and eyes went all back to normal he had a sad look in his eyes but everyone else was laughing at pidge while pidge was fake gagging Keith than apologize to pidge and pidge said "I guess I needed to each my own words and now they're coming back up for revenge "she fake threw up but Keith just looked more sad pidge tried to tell him that it was okay but he just left to his room swimming faster than anyone so they couldn't catch up lance tried to catch him forgetting about how fast Keith was and he just went to Keith's door and knocked on it"please let me in"lance pleaded with Keith then Keith opened his door his tears were gone but his cheeks were starting to puff up indicating that he cried lance said "its so cool how you can do that!"Keith than ask in an irritated tone"force people to do what I want"lance then shook his head"no stupid mullet how your tail can light up its so pretty and amazing"Keith was taken aback by his comment Keith felt a sharp pain in his heart and his cheeks started to feel hot he quickly stopped his cheeks and said to lance in a cocky tone"hey lance you wanna see something"lance than said"if curiosity kills cats then me-ow!"he said in a flirty tone Keith just rolled his eyes and took lances hand as they swam down the hall way they ran into the group Keith told allura he was showing lance something outside the ship allura just gave a warm smile and nodded then pidge yelled"I SHIP IT"and hunk started laughing well lance was blushing Keith,allura and Coran looked confused and shiro looked like he was trying not to laugh lance grabbed Keith's hand and just left

Keith started leading the way again after lance accidentally brought them to a dead end Keith brought lance outside the ship and it was pitch dark Keith then made his tail glow and all around him grew light lance could see everything around him he was like a sun the sunlight in the darkness he was a sunshine as Keith brought him out further lance asked Keith if it was okay to sing a little song while they swam Keith looked happy that lance was going to sing to him

Lance started to sing with his angelic voice hitting all the right notes and the ocean amplifying his voice in every way

After lance finished singing he turned to Keith and saw him crying and started to panic"Keith why are you crying?!!?!"
Keith than wiped his tears away and said"before my parents left they used to sing that song to me before I went to bed every night it's one of my best memories with them"Keith than started to light up and said were hear when his face lit up so did the light from his tail Keith than said "come on!"and started dragging lance to a cave lance stares in aw at what was in front of him.......
