I woke up in sheer pain especially my tail everything hurt but because my tail is sensitive that hurt so much more than everything without even noticing it I was whimpering the pain was so bad after i whimpered I heard a small voice it was a girl with her hair cut and wearing a green hoodie sweater with big circle glasses and grey shorts with pale skin not bad pale but she obviously didn't go outside that much

Pidge:(mumble) shit

Hunk:pidge!!!!!!

So her names pidge...interesting anyway there was another one he was a big fella he was wearing an orange and white shirt with an orange bandana his skin was dark but my instincts didn't give of any warning signals and his posture showed he meant no harm he seemed nice enough that...pidge???...girl was more questionable though she was obviously showing a posture that showed even if she was small she wouldn't hesitate to break your arm that kinda freaked me out but she seemed nice if you get on her good side

Lance:pidge,hunk he's awake get him some pain killers it's so obvious he's in pain

This guy was even more interesting he wore a blue shirt that looked like comfortable material but his pants on the other hand absolutely did not look comfy very tight and constricting I'm pretty sure they're called Jeans why the heck would humans even create things like Jean's humans are so weird I was snapped out of my thought by  pidge and I think the other one is called hunk bringing me a glass of water and two (as humans called them pills) I think they look like eegs and they look DESGUSTING I do not want to even tough that "pill" thing to my dismay pidge handed me the glass of water and the pills I looked at her disgusted and then she had the nerve to act like I was a GUPPY I'm so pissed

Pidge:look you swallow the pill then drink the water okay

I got so mad I just put up my middle finger to her and she looked surprised I gave her a look of I know what the hell IM doing thank you then I put my finger down and swallowed the pill then drank the water it was just as I thought simply DESGUSTING after like two minutes the pills started to take affect and I purred pleasingly because most of the pain was starting to numb pidge then started to just yell questions at me and It surprised me so much I almost hissed I swear she was going to make my fangs come out!!!

Pidge:HOW CAN YOU BREATH ABOVE AND UNDER WATER!!!

Pidge:WHERE DO YOU COME FROM!!!

Pidge:CAN YOU TALK ENGLISH!!!

Pidge:CAN YOU UNDERSTAND ME!!!

Keith:okay slow down and shut up so the I can answer your questions pidge!!!

Anyway If I couldn't breath above air then I wouldn't be hear right now I'd be dead way earlier and if your wondering how I breath under and above water I have weird lungs that help me breath the air up here and my guiles that are at the side of my neck and chest help me to circulate air under water
I come from the sea obviously but to be more specific I don't now my race as a merman but I know that I'm different because most MERFOLK don't have a shark fin at the back of their tails
(I feel like I should explain Keith's look now Keith has ink black hair with his tail being the same colour his tail has all black Scales and five fins one at the back of his tail like I said about where the human butt should be and he has two side fins for balance and speed he then has two fins at the end of his tail for acceleration and deceleration and at the end as this fins are a thin but storm layer of skin his hand and ears are mostly human like except for his finger having a thin layer of skin in between his fingers and his ears has a thin layer as well but different there are scales that wrap around the layer of skin adding to his ear making him able to echo locate underwater next his face he had grayish purple eyes that almost seemed like a cats whenever he get's scared or hurt also when ever in a dark place with no sun Keith begins to glow purple on his tail his eyes and his markings on his face that are like a crest over his eyes going around the farthest side of his eyes He had claws for nails his nails could retract like cats and his teeth can go sharp too both can return to look exactly human if Keith chooses .merfolk also have guils at the side of the chest or stomach and neck and I kid you not I don't really like talking about hair cause my hair sucks but this guy has a mullet yeah a FLIPPING MULLET)

Keith:it's obvious that I can speak English I'm just a quiet person is all and yes I TOTALLY understand all your yelling .the reason I was in your cave was because when the storm hit I had no where to get I got banged up pretty bad as you can see from my tail and I needed somewhere to stay your cave look safe enough so I swam in there and ended up getting hit in the chest with a fold up table which to your knowledge hurts A LOT and the crashed into the rocks when I got up I saw lance and immediately tried to get away but I was to hurt to move so I gave up and just asked him for help then passed out and now I'm in this bath tub which is you know a great feeling for a merman
Anyway merfolk can speak to multiple creatures of the sea I can speak to every fish but I have trouble with eels because there very rude and yes merfolk can use as you call it magic it's different for every one of us but my friend allura can transform humans into merfolk I have different abilities for example I can see in the dark I swim EXTREMELY fast and I can control the temperature and the movement of water it's very unique gifts for merfolk  to answer your question not most merfolk can see in the dark but if you wanted you could become merfolk and I could show you the depths of the sea

Hunk:I don't know I kinda don't think that humans can go that far and you said only some merfolk can see in the dark and that it's rare how would I even cook I'm getting nervous just thinking about it

Keith:don't worry if you want to become merfolk then you won't have to worry about water pressure

Pidge:would it be to much to ask if we can examine you??? like your guils ,tail and ears or would that be uncomfortable

Keith:(slight blush)well umm....my g-guils are r-really sensitive sooooooo! but if you want you can examine m-my tail if that's what you want to do......

Pidge:holy!!!! Oh my god I didn't know sorry but it's okay if we feel your tail right

Keith:yea but you don't even know my name yet so why the heck do you want to start feeling my tail first befor even asking that!?!?!

Pidge:oh right what's your name

Keith:keith

Pidge:any last name

Keith:(sigh)keith kogane

Pidge:well Keith kogane can me hunk and lance feel your tail

Keit:(hard blush) um-um....sure

Pidge, hunk and lance started to feel Keith's tail it was very smooth instead of it being slimy like they thought it would be almost soft while they were doing that Keith was trying to stop himself from purring but when lance feel over Keith's back fin he flinched

Keith:WHY THE SUN GODS ARE YOU TOUCHING MY FIN

Lance:sorry I didn't kno-

Lance looked at Keith and saw his face was beet red

Lance:oh so your sensitive there too hmmmmm

Keith:yeesssss!!!!!!

Keith was moving his tail all around in the small tub lance thought that Keith was going to break it but he wanted to see how sensitive Keith was and it was obvious from the face he was pulling it was an evil grin lance then reach for Keith's sides and touch in between his guils

Keith:ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Pidge:what the fuck lance

Hunk:why the hell would you make a merman angry

Pidge:yeah what the hell dipshit

Keith:(blushing harder than thought possible and breathing heavily)ca-can I g-get out of thi-this....bath tub please

Pidge and hunk said a simple sure and brought Keith out of the bath tub and onto the cold bathroom floor Keith didn't seem to notice Keith asked for a towel and lance grabbed one for Keith lance put the towel out in a friendly manner almost as an apology but Katie angrily snatched it from lances hand

Lance:wow rude

Keith:you touched my fucking guils!!!!

Keith then proceeded to clean himself off with the towel until he was dry when he was dry he started to glow purple then his tail transformed into legs and his guils closed his ears shifted to look human and the scales around his eyes faded he looked completely human

Keith:for saving me I can give you one thing if you except it

Pidge:okay

Keith: if you want I can turn you into merfolk but to make the swim back home for allura to transform you I need to ask would it be okay if I stayed here for a bit to heal up so I can bring you guys home if you want if not you can stay here and either tell people that mermen and mermaids are real and go in an insane asylum or you could just forgot you ever saw me

Pidge:so we can come with you and become mermaids!?!!?!?!?

Keith:if you want to

Hunk:guys I don't know

Lance:common bud we will get to see the wonders of well.... the sea

Hunk:(displeased look)okay we're all in

Keith:you didn't ask Pidge's consent though

Pidge:HELL YEAH IM GONNA BE A FUCKING MERMAID!!!!

Keith:okay slow down I need about two or three days to heal

Lance:okay how long will it take to get there?

Keith:for normal merfolk it would take about half an hour but it'll take fifteen minutes for me scratch that twenty now that I'm bringing you guys

Pidge:okay well I hope you enjoy your stay in our little aboad

Keith:for the next two days I'm gonna be an emotionless blob fish on your couch okay

Pidge:that's what I normally do anyway so why not have someone else do it with me my couch potato amigo

Keith:sounds good to me...
